Module 1: Becoming a researcher
Researcher is an expert personal who tend to do research in any given topic in such a way that it
is able to achieve desired output (Starfield, 2019). Before the starting of this module I was not
able to identify the significance of my learning during this module because of which this module
has provided me a path to implement my learnings and skills on the ground level by which I can
achieve my desired target. Before the starting of this module I was not able to identify the depth
to which each topic contains and because of which this module has surpassed my expectations
and has provided me some of the great learnings which has truly surprised me. By reading and
viewing the implementation of knowledge of others has empowered me to consider all the
expected factors which will arise during the implementation of my learnings. Active learning has
provided me a proper systematic way to efficiently implement my learning and showcased
several ways by which I can reduce errors. During my engagement with the module I have
analysed several ways activities because of which I have identified my learning procedure
because of which now I can make my future planning according to my learning procedure and
pattern by which effectiveness can be increased. I feel empowered to implement my learning in
my professional career because through this action I can improvise my professional working as
per the requirements. However, I do feel like I could have learned more different ways to achieve
a same output by which I could make updates in final outcome by integrating different new
things.
Module 2: Research the foundation of social science
Social science is a branch of science in which human changes in human behaviour is analysed in
context with social and cultural aspects (Cicourel, 2017). Before the starting of this module I was
not aware of the types of changes in human behaviour because of which this module has made a
drastic change in developing a strong conceptual learning of different modules due to which all
my core concepts are clear and hence effectiveness of my learning has improved. I was not
expecting a drastic change in core concepts due to which this module has surpassed my
expectations and because of which I am able to achieve a strong conceptual foundation of my
different learnings. Reading has really helped me a lot in developing the conceptual foundation

because of which I can easy understanding the lessons during this module and hence my
viewpoint in solving problems has also improved. This changed viewpoint for solving problems
has empowered my increase my understanding of different fields and hence I am also motivated
to identify the different creative ways for achieving my targets by implementing my learnings.
The learning during this module was already up to the point has provided an ability to resolve
my problems but also at the same time I also felt like learning could have been also improved in
the implementation of knowledge on the ground level depict on theoretical grounds.
Module 3: Philosophies of research in social science
The activity of analysing and gathering information of various individuals of different social,
economic, education and political background is called as social science (Taguchi and St. Pierre,
2017). Before the learning of this module I was not aware of wide range of cultural diversity in
my surrounding because of which my interactions were also often got affected because of lack of
understanding the cultural diversity. By engaging in this module I am able to evaluate the
diversity of the society and now I am able to improve my working process because of which this
module was as per the expectations and has completely surprised me. Reading and viewing the
ideas of other has made a significant change in my growing process because of which I am
empowered to make a bold step outside my comfort areas due to which I can increase the
probability of goal achievement. The process of active learning during this module I am
empowered to enhance of effectiveness of my learning and also has developed a strong base for
the implementation of my learnings. For identifying the psychologies which are required in this
module I had to analyse my learning process by which I can make sure that I was able to
customize my learning according to the requirements for this module due to which I was
empowered to improvise my working accordingly. This module has empowered me to analyse
evaluate my learning in such a way that my academic skills has improved drastically.
