Food service management is crucial part in any hospitality sector as it provides food and
beverages to large number of people in costs effective manner. Also, to deliver best services
requires better skills and knowledge on part of hotel manager. Further, the study is based on
Premier Inn hotel and will identify range of management practices that are followed in over the
years. Lastly, various performance review techniques followed by quoted firm along with certain
recommendations to improve these existing techniques will also be discussed in detail under this

Premier inn hotel is very well-known for all its management practices that are conducted

used by quoted firm that are briefly described as follows:
360 degree feedback: This is type of technique that is useful in both positive and

It is recommended to premier Inn that it should establish certain key performance
indicators at the workplace that will measure success of each task at the end of specific

and metrics will help group of employees to modify or make certain changes in existing
working methods so that current level of performance might be improved or increased.

technologies at the hotel workplace. Thus, through training employees would be able to develop

Justifying recommendations to resolve organizational challenges.

business environment it is recommended to quoted firm that it should use benchmarking
technique so that certain strength and weakness is identified in detailed manner. Also, based on
the weakness the firm would be able to develop better improvement plan so that there is
optimum utilization of resources (Leung, Wen and Jiang, 2018). Also, premier inn should opt for
outsourcing certain activities that are of less priority at the workplace so that the top
management is left with enough time to focus on those activities that are essential for the growth
of the firm.

From the above report it can be concluded that Premier Inn hotel is successful in reaching
new target markets through effective business strategies and staff management. Also, study had

appraisals and balance scorecards as tool of its employee performances. Moreover, various
