INTRODUCTION
The current study is based on my reflection in which my own performance in group
presentation will discuss in systematic manner. It will also explain key areas that I need to
develop further related to academic and professional career. Furthermore, this assignment will
also describe an action plan and awareness of higher education as well as employment at global
context.
TASK 1
Reflective statement based on own performance in group presentation
Group presentation is collaborative and coordinative presenting effort with me and a team
of individual included in a subject together. It is the best way I can use to identify what is
controversial and interesting about me. Here I am participating and performing in a group
presentation, due to which I will get to learn a lot. Whatever things I learn in group work, it will
help in my professional and personal career progress and success in effective manner.
Group presentation is fantastic way to contribute to my learning experience. While
performing in this act I have learned how to communicate with each other while you are working
in team which is really very important to learn (Wu, Wu and Li, 2019). Communication is part of
group presentation it makes me able to share my opinion, ideas and point of view with team
mates in systematic manner. Communication skills are required to speak appropriately with a
broad variety of individual whilst maintaining better eye contact. It can be said that team or
group presentation can aid person develop a host of skills that are increasingly beneficial and
essential in academic as well as professional context. It makes me capable to complete work in
quicker and more effective amount of time than others. While performing in group presentation I
have learned how to break complex tasks or activities into parts which makes it easy to
accomplish. Breaking tasks also saves time and the work gets done easily and quickly which is
also necessary.
I and my team were told about new information while working in the group presentation
which was related to which was related to technology advancement. I was given this information

on how to use new features and technologies to make my work better and attractive. New info
that has been presented is related to Visme. It is a cloud based presentation tool or technology
that permit individual to create highly visual presentations to communicate their creative ideas

been explained which I can use in my work.
The interesting thing was when I am performing in group presentation all people sharing
their opinion with each other and discussing them for selecting the best one. It is kind of
collaborative practice which may be impossible to see in other team work. Team collaborative
practice is quite interesting according to me because it makes our professional and academic
connection more stronger (Orchard and et.al., 2018). We share different opinions and ideas with
each other, provide directions and add more interesting things in our work which make it more
presentable. Team collaboration is quite beneficial as it help to improve flexibility, engaged all
my group mates with each other and makes us more productive. Guidance given by instructor to
everyone is the more interesting thing because it makes everyone able to learn and understand
how to work in team and accomplish presentation with systematic and effective features. With
the help of clear guidance I was accomplished my work and present in front of people.
I would definitely use new information which is all about Visme cloud based tool. This
info has been presented when I am performing in group presentation. By using features of above
technology in my work I can use all information and knowledge has been presented about it. It

2018). It refers to way that I plan and organize how long I spend on specific activities. It is the
best procedure of planning and managing each task in effective manner. I would do the best the
thing to solve my problem and chose the best method to develop my understanding about time
management. There are many ways available in market which I can use to develop my time
management skills. I can create a schedule that is my first step towards understanding above
concept. Along with this, I also felt that while working in group presentation, I was not able to
make the right decision to choose one opinion or idea shared by other.

Professional and academic areas that need to develop further
Above discussion has been completed on the base of my performance in group
presentation. I elaborate areas that I need to develop further. I need to develop time management,
negotiation and decision making skills which are really very essential for my professional career,
both areas are related to professional and academic field. Time management is the main area
which I need to develop in effective manner because it makes me capable to complete my day to
day activities in a short term period while I am doing job in a big reputed organization.
When I develop this skill, I will do every work on time, due to which I will be able to focus on
my personal life too.
Apart from this, the area that I want to develop in future is negotiation. It is all about
being capable to set out what person want to gain and how but also being more able to
comprehend where other individual is coming from so that they can both obtain what they need
and feel positive about it (Richards, Guerrero and Fischbach, 2020). It is method by which I will
settle differences, negotiation is procedure by which agreement and compromise is reach while
avoiding dispute. There are many stages included in this areas that help in my professional
career. It includes preparation, discussion; negotiate towards achieving results, clarification of

aims, agreement and implementation of course of action. All negotiation is highly influenced by
underlying key element that is attitudes to procedure itself. A effective negotiation needs two
parties to come together as well as hammer out an argument that is acceptable to both.
Along with above one I also need to develop my academic area that is decision making,
it is applicable in professional career as well. It is one that is made thoughtfully and deliberately,
considers and includes all relevant areas (Jewell and et.al., 2020). In simple words, this area is an
act of selecting between two or more things of action. In huge procedure of solving problem,
decision making area included choosing between possible suggestions to an issue. Judgment can
be made through either intuitive or reasoned procedure or a mix of two. By developing this area I
can solve any problem and handle further situation which in return provide positive outcomes. It
helps to save money, time and energy as well as make me effective to enhance performance level
rather than before. I want to develop all the areas mentioned above, which will help me in every
situation that comes next. This task is based on above work in which I have already discuss areas
or things that I did not fully understand.
Developing all these areas can be of great benefit to me. To develop all these areas, I
need a right and good development plan which will be explained further. It is very important to
develop all these areas that I can take advantage of current and in the future.

Awareness of global context of higher education and employment
Higher education in recent time is very important it help to build knowledge and skills
that is require in academic and professional career. It leads to many benefits including a financial
security and a prosperous career. It includes college and universities in simple words when most
individual speak of high education, they are referring to most famous institutes. It can be said
that high education permits person to pursue a career that inspires and interests them. When
individual have freedom to select their career, it will more likely to enjoy it. Higher education
brings many chances to get appropriate job in future. High job satisfaction also comes from
higher education which in return helps to get good income, better employment advantages and
more advancement chances. In recent era, people are awareness about the importance of higher
education because it makes them able to get the best employment opportunities within any sector
where they can earn higher income by performing effectively and efficiently at workplace.
CONCLUSION
From above analysis it has been concluded that new information about Visme tool is
really very helpful as it aid to provide effective presentation in front of seniors. By developing
action plan it is easy to develop skills which require in the future.
