INTRODUCTION
To get success there is need to have skills and knowledge in individual that used to manage
and handle a project properly. In running a business, environment analysis is conducted by
organization that supports to bring changes and maintaining higher performance. The present
report is based on getting success in each work by improving their knowledge and skills
effectively (Kopochynska, and et.al., 2020). The report covers ethical issues within global
business environment and impact of implementing code of conduct in running business. This will
help to develop the understanding about particular topic and would help to manage all functions.
PART A
Introduces and defines the issue/challenge chosen
To operate a business there is need to have proper understanding about environment that
can help to make right decision and accomplish business goals. For example, Tesco is large size
supermarket, offering range of products and services in global environment by managing all
functions and activities (Lane, Hardison, Simon, and Andrews, 2019). The organization is facing
different issues and challenges in running business that are defined below:
CSR: This is major issues that rises while operating a business as it reduces
organizational profits. To operate a business CSR is becoming important as it used to improve
the insight of society towards organizational products and services. This impacts positively by
increasing customer base and productivity. This might be impact negatively as to contribute in
CSR activities affects organizational productivity and performance.
Corporate governance – To start a business and expanding in to other country changing
in government regulation could be challenging issue for companies where it became difficult to
operate a business. Tesco is facing challenge of changing government regulations in different
location that impacts negatively on business performance and reduce business activities (Spitzer,
2019).
Sustainability: To operating a business sustainability should be considering while
operating a business that directly affect business industry. Tesco is largest supermarket that is
following sustainability by reducing carbon emission and providing products at retail prices that
can help to save global economy (Molloy, Ajjawi, Bearman, Noble, Rudland, and Ryan, 2020).
Working of company to eradicate

Different challenges discussed above faced by Tesco while operating its business in
global environment can overcome by formulating effective planning and strategies that can help
to managing all business activities. The management requires to take government approval first
in entering into new location and make sure that organization is doing for society welfare that
supports to develop the organizational productivity (Beni, and Fletcher, 2020).
Explains the codes of conduct that can assist in resolving / addressing the issue
A code of conduct is defined as set of rules and common policy used by companies and
other institution to operate their business systematically and managing all functions. For every
company it is legally mandate to have a code of conduct as it helps to identify the problems and
providing solution to manage a business. A well written code of conduct helps Tesco to clarify,
its goals, mission, values and principles that support to operate the business and develop
organizational productivity. Tesco is following ethical principle and standard to operate a
business after getting government approval that support to operating business in changing
environment effectively. There are five code of conduct integrity, professional competence,
objectivity, confidentiality, and professional behaviour that all relates to business and following
to solving issue of corporate governance, sustainability and CSR by contributing in each activity
and managing business performance. This also assist what is right and what is wrong in business
that can help to operate a business effectively. This also assist individual and society to
contribute in improving brand image by evaluating its products and services that can help to
provide satisfaction level (Townsend, and Kington, 2020).
Discusses the support and guidance available from the relevant Professional Bodies
To operate a business and managing all functions it is important to have good knowledge
and skills which used to accepting changes and developing organizational performance. This is
suggested to all companies to focus on ethical, and CSR issues as it directly affect organizational
productivity negatively. Having knowledge and proper use of ethical principle could be
opportunity for organization to resolve business related issue and managing all functions
effectively. Tesco is considered as relevant professional body, faced different types of issues
while operating business in global business environment and bring changes in their strategies in
relation to ethics and corporate social responsibility that supports to operate the business. The
management of selected organization improve its ethics of operations by providing training and
support to develop employee’s awareness and ability to use policies. By following the CSR

principle, Tesco make sure its customers that it is selling good quality of products and services at
retail prices that supports organization to run their business by resolve issues in global business
environment. The another organization is Bentley motors, is following ethical practices and CSR
practice in their manufacturing and selling activities that can help to make sure society that
company is thinking about society and providing accordingly products. This can help to manage
all business activities by resolving issues that risen in business environment and improve the
brand image (Harrison, 2020).
Concludes with an assessment of the likely impact both the support and codes of conduct
could have on the issue
From the above discussion it can be interpreted that Business needs to committed towards
protecting environment by developing various policies and practices which helps company to
reduce impact of company towards environment and also needs to ensure sustainability. In this,
company needs to ensure to understand supplier and meet expectation of company to responsible
towards their behaviour related to fair price. Company also needs to identify cause behind
meaning of business. Enterprise can also provide support to various organisation which are
protecting to environment. There are various company which is causing harm to community also
donate plants. This helps company to give ideas to society. Tesco is understanding the issue that
occurs while running business and affected the business negatively. The management should be
follow ethical principle and low carbon emission practices while running their business that
impacts positively on code of conduct and business environment positively (McDonnell, 2020).
Conclusion
From above mentioned project report, it can be concluded that corporate social
responsibility refers to a strategy which is adopting by organisation which allow them to
contribute towards development and growth of community and society. There are various
challenges faced by corporate organisation in different parts of world related to corporate social
responsibility as it is important for company to fulfil their corporate social responsibility as it
helps to ensure long term survival of business that impacts positively and negatively.

As I prepared the report by understanding global issues rises while running a business
environment where it became important for me to follow ethics and CSR activities that can help
to manage the all business functions. The module of professional career was good learning for
me where I came to know my strength and weakness that supported me to identify the issues
could occur while running business and affected the business productivity. This became most
important for me to identify issues and eradicate them by formulating effective planning and
principles that used to managing all functions. While learning and was studying about
professional career module I realised that to operate ma business in global business environment
there is need to have approval from government that could provide support and subsidy to run a
business effectively (Deuze, 2019). The company should also need to understand the requirement
of their customers which can help to provide the kind of products and services in changing
environment and maintain higher performance. This module has developed my understandings
and insights about happening related to environment and supported me to develop skills as well
as knowledge. During the learning I also analysed my skills in which I was weak such as
communication, problem solving, accepting changes and time management that has been
improved by formulating the CPD plan. A CPD Plan is a continuous professional development
plan which is designed by individual by identifying weak skills and bringing improvement. I also
designed a CPD plan to accomplish my SMART objectives and managing all functions as well
as future activities. This module or learning has provided me good opportunity to gain future
employment and attaining personal as well as professional goals (Allen, Palermo, Armstrong,
and Hay, 2019).
