Presenting the importance of project workshop activities to increase social and ethical awareness
Ethical responsibility is an ability to recognize, interpret and act upon different principles
within a specific field. Similarly, I was also attending the project workshop activities where each
week I learn new skills and its importance towards academic career and employability. Further,
during the weeks, I understand the meaning of global citizenship which is all about the
awareness of interconnectedness among people and societies. This in turn assist me to create an
awareness regarding social and ethical development. Such that the concept helps to emphasis
responsibilities and contribution to global society. On the other side, I also examined the
importance of academic and professional integrity as well as its principles. It is considered one of
the most ethical concerns for the Universities because most of the students do not commit to
share the work honestly and without moral behavior during an academic setting (Luck and et.al.,
2021). However, during a week, I come to know about the academic misconduct which is one of
the most unethical activity that affect individual’s career.
Beside this, I gain many interpersonal skills which also assists me to improve the
knowledge and make effective decision for the future as well. Such that I learn to manage
relationship and also understand the feeling of others so that work will be managed easily. Also,
I learn that active listening within a group is far beneficial rather than react instantly. Hence, this
in turn causes to enhance the social development because working closely with others will assist
me to generate effective results. Apart from this, I enhanced my reflective skills because through
weeks I come to know that by using reflective models like Gibbs and Kolbs, one can easily share
their complete experience about any events. Including this, individual also analyze strength and
weakness which can be overcome by using effective measures.
Moreover, I also raise the communication skills and come to know the importance of
verbal as well as written communication. Such that within professional career, manager and
superior authority uses written communication in order to share the important messages to their
employees (Kharouf and et.al., 2020). Whereas, within University, majority of the students work
in a team with an aim to share the best output, because it helps to minimize lack of
communication and perform effectively. Also, there are many ways described under workshop
activities to improve the presentation skills because in professional area, this plays an important
role. During the week 5, I also understand the benefits of team work such that it helps to increase

the performance because involving different members assist to solve problem and work
effectively. Earlier, I do not prefer to work in a team but the workshop helps me to improve the
performance and helps to understand how effective to work in a team, as it leads to increase the
productivity (Ogbonnaya, Tillman and Gonzalez, 2018). Overall, I can say that the entire
workshop activities encourage me to grab opportunities in near future. Along with this, such
week sessions also helps to contributed towards my development of social and ethical awareness
as well as responsibility.
