Introduction
The present report is about ideal job role that refers to dream job of a person in which
he can deliver his best efforts and achieve exceptional outcomes. In this report, I will discuss
my dream and ideal job. The job description will also be provided for the same. Different
resources will be identified that helps in seeking the dream job.
My Ideal Job
My ideal job role is Human Resource Manager. The human resource management is
considered as the most important function of any business organization. Human resource
manager plays two basic function in the company that includes managing employees and
overseeing the departmental functions. HR Manager reports to the HR Director.
I am interested in this sort of job because I will be able to deal with diverse nature of
people, having different backgrounds and culture. This job will allow me to oversee every
aspect of the HR practices, process and procedure. Roles and responsibilities of HR Manager
includes selection and recruitment, attracting talents, training and development programs,
performance management, reward system, maintaining the organizational culture, resolving
conflicts, maintaining effective employee relations and many more.
I would like to work in multinational company because this will help me to enhance
the knowledge, skills and capabilities. This job role will allow me to expose to an evolving
nature of complexities of the diverse workforce, strategic management and legal obligations
for accomplishing the goals and objectives of company. By working in the multinational
corporations as a Human Resource manager I will be capable for effectively managing the
different activities at a time, managing diverse employees, increase legal knowledge and
overall working of the business.
Describe ideal job.
In the role of HR Manager, I will be having many roles, duties and responsibilities.
The role of HR Manager is continuously and constantly evolving, I the quest for integrating
the strategies and operations of business organization across the wide array of ideas, cultures,
products and services. My first role will be hiring and recruiting the employees that are
suitable to the job positions. I will also have to provide them with required training and
development programs. Performance management, providing rewards and appraisals will be
my other roles and responsibilities in the company as a HR Manager. Appendices 1 shows the
job description of the HR Manager role.
The Human Resource Manager were confined for handling the basic data work,
routine record keeping and other basic tasks of company. But to the increasing diversity of
workforce and globalization of companies, the role of Human Resource Management and its
HR Manager is evolving constantly. It will further change in 4 years when I will graduate. I
need to be more development oriented and focus on modern approaches for effectively
managing the people.
I don't think these changes will lead to impact the people who are looking to work in
the same role in the future. With the increasing globalization and increasing employment
opportunities, the complexities of any job role gets increased specially in the Human
Resource Department.

There are various resource available through which I can look for the jobs.
Networking, referrals, career websites, job boards, job fairs, company website, cold calling,
head hunters and recruiters, internship and many other resources helps when looking for a
job. I can make use of the internet as this acts as the best tool for connecting with people, and
recruiters, employers, etc. Through internet, I can access to and use the LinkedIn, Facebook,
Twitter, Indeed, Monster, Reed and various other sites. Following are some tools that may
enable me to find my ideal job role:

Indeed.com: This is the leading job site having millions of job listing from the various
websites, it includes company career sites, newspaper classifieds, job boards, associations
and various other online sources of the job postings. I can use this website for getting the job
by uploading a resume and get the personalized resume link for sharing with the employers.
Through the Indeed.com, I can also apply for ideal job role, research the job trends and salary
and even set up job alerts.
LinkedIn: This is the largest professional network on the internet of the world. It connects
world's professionals for making them more successful and productive. I can make use of the
LinkedIn for searching the desired job, identify contacts at employers who are advertising
about vacancies, and also follow companies of interest (Top 10 Best Websites For Jobs,
2019).
Facebook: This is an effective way for connecting with the friends, family and potential
employer. Facebook also provide job broad feature through which employer post jobs
directly on their company page and allows job seekers for applying to them directly through
Facebook. I can make use of the Facebook for look for ideal job and apply for the jobs that
interest me.
Conclusion
The report has provided a brief description of the ideal job role. It also includes the
roles and responsibilities of the chosen ideal job role. The report also includes the Job
description. There are various resources that helps when seeking for the job and 3 of them are
chosen and explained in the report.
