Introduction
Social and ethical awareness refer to the knowledge domain of a person which
enable it to be more dynamic in nature and decipher social norms in more authentic way.
The report would be presenting reflective views on the workshop which has been attended
in order to improve social and ethical awareness. Various aspects of the workshop will be
examined in order to analyses the impacts it brought in the understanding knowledge of the
social norms. The report would be discussing such aspects which led the way and made the
task of developing social and ethical understanding deeper, along with responsibilities
associated with it.

How and why have the project workshop activities developed your social and
ethical awareness and responsibility? (500 words)
The project was aimed to enhance my level of understanding pertaining to social and
ethical awareness. So for this purpose some activities have been carried out. While going
through the workshop firstly self-audit was conducted by using SWOT which helped me to
understand my abilities and areas where I had need to go for improvement. It paved way for
further improvement and made PDP.
In the project workshop I have learned some time management skills too. To
understand the society and ethics it is essential to have better knowledge of communication.
In the workshop communication was studied to the fullest extent. Where different aspects of
social ethics got studied and deep study was executed in order to articulate the ethical
aspects which are prevailing in the society.
For this purpose, the PDP helped to make it possible where I found some issues in
my personal development and with the help of the strategy encountered it. It was made to
trace my personal issues which were hindering my way to understand social and ethical
norms along with responsibilities they bring to us.
Social awareness is a must need aspect since the business or profession I want to
explore in my future is directly related with such notions. In modern era there is no
organization which can thrive without understanding of social awareness. In the workshop
learnt various things like paying attention to the communication of people both verbal and
written, understanding tone, carefully listening, avoiding noise etc. these all practices have
improved social awareness. It helped to perceive different drivers which are behind notions
or behavior of society such as culture, status, financial status, demography etc.
Ethical awareness which is essential for modern era, for surviving in the modern
business it is very essential so it has been part of my workshop module. While learning
employability skills it has been covered. Some domains such as transparency, integrity,
respect system, compassion, accountability, quality control, employee benefits, customer
satisfaction and considering various elements of the society etc. It also helped to know sort
of responsibilities about social and ethical norms.
Activities of the course such as time management, presentations skills, taking action
plans to encounter issues with personal understanding level of ethical and social awareness
had helped to nurture social skills. The main them of the course was to manage business, it
is not possible without having proper understanding of social and ethical responsibilities.
With the progress of time society is getting reformed and aware, now for organizations it is
essential to fulfil both social and ethical requirements then only they can survive so the work
shop helped me to decipher these realms and augment my capacity to perform better and
paving way for my own growth. For avoiding any perils pertain to owns responsibilities
reading log and daily to do list were followed which ensured proper execution of

responsibilities.
So altogether it can be summed up that the course work had been very productive to
understand the role of both social and ethical awareness, which are essential for business
management and some sort of responsibilities which eradicate potential troubling elements.

Importance and value of the Appendices (10 Documents) that I have compiled
and provided as part of my portfolio in relation to my development of social
and ethical awareness and responsibility during the module.

Conclusion:
From the report above it can be concluded that social and ethical awareness are very
prominent ingredients for a person specifically to thrive its ability of managing social
interactions. The report had examined the notion for this purpose a workshop has been
proceeded where different aspects were evaluated which consisted personal audit through
SWOT and for further improvement personal development plan was fabricated.
The project work shop was intended to boost up knowledge about social awareness and
responsibilities which come with that. There were a range of such tasks were executed in
order to enhance understanding level. The report presented all those elements which made
the objective feasible to learn about ethical and social practices and how they surge some
set of responsibilities.
In short, in the report a reflective essay had been presented depicting how and why the
workshop has developed social understanding which were directly linked with the sense of
responsibility and social ethos too.
