INTRODUCTION
Preparing for success is field of study in which learners prepare themselves for
acquiring the skills which can enhance their creativity and knowledge (Cho, 2015). The
main aim of this essay is to develop a reflective piece in which reflections can be made
upon how and why learner have developed during this module and how to approach
future challenges (Ford and et.al., 2012). In this essay, Gibbs reflection cycle is used for
relevant reflections.
ESSAY MAIN BODY
TASK 1: How and why you have developed as a learner during this module.
DESCRIPTION
Preparing for success is a module which is enabled me to implement my
knowledge in a constructive way so that I can be encouraged to overlap my study skills
to employability skills and be able to acquire the opportunity to gain an employment in
21st century. During this module, I have gained various skills including communicating
skills, research skills, numeracy and digital literacy. My mentors and module leader has
assisted me during lectures on how to critical evaluate the theories of authors and how
these theories can be implemented in my own work by relevantly citing them in order to
provide literature credit. All the study material was supposed to be given to me by digital
mediums which helped to gain digital literacy and technological skills. All my
assignments during this module involved a deep research which has helped me to
effective investigate the topics. This module even combined all the learners to
communicate with each other’s which has developed my communication skills both
written and presentation. The aim of letting me learn all these skills was to ensure that
in future, I am capable to work in an organisation which has dynamic environment.
FEELING
During this module, I have tried to prepare myself for self development and
responsibility. Honestly when I was first leading up to my module, I had mix feelings of
anxiety and excitement as this module as a subject is an innovative way to learn yet has
a complex set of theories. But my feelings get changed when I started to experience
that my skills are actually getting enhanced due to this module. And now when I look

assisted me to be a professional being I am today. Not only me, but all my fellow mates
feel that this module has provided us the opportunity by which we can enhance our skill
to be ideal in professional world.
EVALUATION
As a learner, I have developed during this module due to the positive events
which have gone well. It is important for me to quote that not only the good experiences
but the bad experiences also have developed me as an effective learner. During the
seminars and lectures, I have learned about the various leadership and self
development theories along with social and ethical awareness and responsibility. All this
theoretical knowledge at my lectures helped me to gain an overview about how to tackle
complex situations. My experience during the lecturers was a good experience. On the
other hand, at the time of my practical classes and workshops, I even faced a bad
experience as these classes taught me the tricks by which I can be able to implement
my knowledge learned in seminars in real life scenarios. Due to lack of real life
experience of managing and controlling, I lacked in workshops which resultant to be a
bad experience for me but that event also helped me gain a lot of skills.
TASK 2: Further reflections on how to approach future challenges and expectations of a
university course
ANALYSIS
From this module, I have learned ample skills which will help me in future. During
this course, I had both positive and negative experiences. I think that the negative
experiences are even more eventful and significant for me as by those I have finally
known, what to do if similar situation rises in future. This module was my preparation
module for Level 4 academic study. This module has built a resistant power in me by
which any issues in Level 4 will be tacked by the experience I have with myself. I have
analysed both the positives and negatives separately which will help me in future.
CONCLUSION
During this module, I have faced issues while attending workshops and practical
classes. If in future, I get the chance to attend a workshop I will make sure to pre study
so that I will have a theoretical knowledge about my course work. I am going to adapt

assisted me to be a professional being I am today. Not only me, but all my fellow mates
