INTRODUCTION
Reflective essay refers to an essay where writer writes about their experiences from
particular course or life. For current reflection Driscoll method is considered as it is best for
showing the experience of learning from module. The reason for selecting this model is it is quite
useful and assists writer in organising document more succintly. Driscoll model of reflection has
three questions which was made in 1970. The questions include: What?, So what? and now
what?.
Writing Skills
Writing skills refer to the ability and knowledge to express ideas with the written words.
The ability to convey ideas in writing form is needed by employers in organisations. It is
important because it assists in communicating without being present physically (Motallebzadeh,
Ahmadi and Hosseinnia, 2018).
What?
During this module I learnt about the writing skill which is essential for personal
development and growth in a professional career. I faced the situation during learning that I was
not much interested in learning the skills of writing as I thought it is not much important in my
professional career. Then I read about the importance of writing skills which has changed my
view regarding these skills. With me there were teachers who were teaching us about the writing
skills and classmates who were there to learn these skills of writing. Overall it was a mixed
experience as at the starting stage I was not interested but gradually I developed my interest in
learning writing skill.
So what?
When I was not interested I felt exhausted but when I developed my interest I started
feeling enthusiastic to learn more in writing skill. I reacted very calmly at that situation as it
helps in understanding the situation in a better way. Now I do not feel same as I developed my
interest skills of writing.

It refers to the activities involved in process of learning like note taking, writing tests,
reading effectively and management of time.
What?
While this module I have learnt about the learning skills and I was very interested in
learning skills very deeply because it helps in making sound professional career. I was
concentrated while my teacher was teaching. It was very good experience because I had interest
in learning skills.
So what?
During learning I felt very enthusiastic and I reacted very happily as it was adding value
in my career. I feel same as I was feeling earlier.
Now what?
I have developed my skills like managing time, note taking, listening things properly and
speaking in public. I did not have any negative outcome as I remained positive during whole
period of learning.
Presentation Skills
It refers to the skill which assist in presenting information in front of different audiences.
It includes tone of the presenter, design of slides and body language (Çetin and Eymur, 2017).
What?
At the time of learning presentation skills I had taken initiative to learn this particular
skill because it helps in colleges and professional career. I always paid attention in the class
when teacher was teaching. It was a great experience because I had the chance to improve my
body language and my voice tone.
