TASK 1
What I have learn from this.
As a student we have a group presentation and on the basis of this presentation, I have
learnt various things regarding collaboration and management of various operational practices
with the adequate group efforts. I have positive impact on my communication skills as I feel
confidence and have clarity in presenting my thoughts accurately. I have learnt various strategies
and techniques to enter into the market and face the competitors with strong strategy to maintain
the stability in the business. So, to attract the customers towards their product various techniques
are used to motivate the customers and fulfil their demands. I have examined that to beat the
competitors in the market advertisement and campaigning is the best way to promote the
business. Customers demand the product at low price with the best quality and they are no
personally attach with the brands they need the product which fulfil their basic needs.
I have also learnt about the selling concept which business uses to generate more interests
among customers. This group presentation has helped me in analysing the techniques which are
used for Internet selling that is the best strategy that I have learnt to increase the productivity in
the company. Usually people are addicted to social media sites and to enhance the business at
large scale, this is very useful and can be innovative to business. As per the group presentation
Boban and I have experienced various strategic and new things which has have affected in our
behavioural tendency to make accurate ascertainment of the operations. having a great
experience working with Boban as we have together learnt various things such as having an
organised presentation, focusing on a particular task without multitasking anything. However,
such influences have impacted positively in improving the quality of work.
There have been main influences of the group presentation which have presented me the
adequate analysis over my strength and weaknesses to handle the business tasks. Making
collaboration with other students in preparing assessment as well as learning various techniques
have helped me in improving my knowledge and skills appropriately.
What new information is being presented.
In consideration with the group presentation were ample of new thing which I have
learned and acquire new information like roles and responsibilities of student. I am very good at
my work as my team members appreciate my work. I have brought a new concept of marketing
which is Search Engine optimisation (SEO) as it is one of the best innovative technology such as

Bing, Google, yahoo (Gudivada, Rao and Paris, 2015). Through this technology customers could
drive to the products and services of company via online platform. I have presented this new
information in the presentation that is an effective marketing tool. My team members were
admiring me for this new information. The competition is very high so to be a good student it is
very important to be attached with the innovative technologies. I am greatly aware of new
technologies because student have to be attentive in the knowledge and understanding of
technologies.
During my studies, while conducting surveys, taking feedbacks etc., I got to know needs
and wants of different types of customers and it was interesting to interact with costumer face to
face as you get to know the preference of customers towards the products and services of the
company and thus, after getting the feedback the company can product their goods accordingly
(Liu and et.al., 2017). The role of a student, it was interesting to understand various platforms
through the company can promote its products like through social media platforms which is
inclusive of Facebook, Instagram, twitter etc., and there are various technologies like chatbots,
emails, mobile apps through which we can aware the customer regarding the company's
products.
Moreover, it was interesting to observe other managers and employees regarding their
punctuality skills and through which I was motivated to improve my time management skills and
complete my projects on time. I have learned how to frame tactics in order to promote products
and services of the company and how to influence the customer to buy the products of the
company (Harrington, Ottenbacher and Fauser, 2017).
However, it is essential to have a strong communication skill so that we can interact with
customer to influence its customers, thus it was interesting to learn and develop communication
skills like other managers in order to advertise about the products of the company by having
conversation with the customers and getting their responses regarding the improvement of
products. Presentation have helped in learning several technical things such as operating the
projector, preparing the PowerPoint presentation more attractive, use of animation as well as
various tactics to make it more interesting.
Improvements
As per the group presentation made by us on which I have observed that, my module
studies and technical implications where have articulated various reformative approaches which I

think would be beneficial in developing numerous skills for being an effective student. I believe
that, implication of techniques which leads to develop the communication skills, time
management as well as strategic thinking which helps in developing my career objectives.
I have barriers in learning the technical devices and gadgets in analysing the current trend
in the market related with any specific product and services of a certain industry. Thus, on which
survey and observing the current market scenario have helped in managing the operational
practices accordingly as well as addressing the issues effectively (Dewi and Suryawardani,
2019). Moreover, I had issues with communicating effectively among individual such as in
analysing their requirements as well as satisfaction based on developing qualified promotional
activities. Thus, analysing their needs and communicating these in organisation would have
positive impact on developing as well as designing their products and services.
As per the group presentation on which it been analysed that, there are various operational
tactics and practices which would require me to have an effective improvement in my career
path. I have faced obstacles in making strategic decisions which has have lead me to analyse and
found out that, there are differences in the opinion and choices of the consumers regarding a
product and service which has impacts on leading the firm in meeting the targeting aims.
Experience which I have learnt through my module studies has lead me for making a corrective
decision that would be adequate in mitigating the challenges. I need to develop my
communication skills as well as tendency to make quick and correct decisions. There are various
tasks and activities which were organised as have taught me several things regarding the
accuracy and adequate examination of the end result. I believe that improving the technical
knowledge and skills would be effective for the firm in managing the operational activities at the
right time.

Areas that need development
Introduction
For a student it is very much required and important to improve and develop in further
terms which are better for future. Identification of areas where improvements are required it is
essential for this. So for me it is required that I could be able to identify all my areas of
improvement, having knowledge about strategies to be used and analysing the progress made.
List of areas of improvement

 I have determine while giving group presentation in class that I have lack of
communication skills.
 I also evaluated that knowledge of more than one language is crucial from the growth
perspective of my career.
 I also identified that I have lack of time management.
 I need to improve my creative skills for the sake of career growth opportunities.
As a student, when I was playing as a role of student in group, I have participated in all
activities to test my skills. I was interestingly doing that but I found that I have some weaknesses
in my skills which needs development. I found that my ideas were good as compared to other but
where I lack is in communication skills. It hesitates me to have interaction with them because I
am not good in regional languages (Prakash, 2017). Even I am weak in having fluent
communication. And then to learn new languages becomes a challenge for me. Languages are
also a part of communication skills only. So, I feel that this area of mine needs development to
improve interaction skills and to have fluent interaction with customers to make them satisfied in
one chance only.
Another area I found is of time managing. For a student, it is necessary to manage time
in such a way that goals are achieved within time schedule. During the group presentation as
already discussed in above task that an activity was assigned to me to achieving three objectives
on same day. I do not focus on time management and starts to work for completing activity. At
the last moment of day, I found that it was only one objective that was completed. Two were
remaining because first objective was lengthy one and need to be done at last. From this, I realize
that my time management skills are very weak and needs improvement immediately. A perfect
time scheduling priority wise helps an individual to achieve objectives on time (Bodin and
Isberg, 2017). I failed to complete that activity, but any how I completed two objectives on that
task till the end of day. There I realize I need a development in area of time management which
will help me to achieve targets.
Another situation occurs with me in group presentation, activity is assigned to me in
which is outlined in above task that need to present a report on innovative ideas for marketing. I
was very enthusiastic for presenting this report. But when I am doing only two ideas came out
for expanding marketing level. And I found that other candidates presented five to six ideas.
There I also noted that I have some weakness in creative thinking skills (Vogel, 2018). This skill

is very essential for student to have some alternative option if one fails. This skill brings
solutions for whole team members to come out from difficult situations. Being a student, I feel
that I need development in creative thinking skills as well.

Meaning of action plan:
Action plan is the set target or criteria which will be helpful for any individual to plan out
activities or areas of development by setting up time. This will contain all important activities
which need to be developed for future terms.

It is very much important for me as student to keep track of activities which are taking
place within educational and employment sector. This will be helping me to keep in touch on
