INTRODUCTION
For the students in the university preparing for success is an learning tool which provides
learning resources based on the different aspects of academic life and the skills needed for
effective study (Chaudhuri, H., 2018). The report focuses on relationship between attaining
success and gaining knowledge & creativity at university level. The report covers how and why
it is been develope4d from module and reflection on future challenges of course.
MAIN BODY
1.How and why you are developing as a learner from module.
As a student I am studying marketing to have success in university from the module I
learned about the Microsoft excel, CV and referencing.
 Microsoft Excel- This is a spreadsheet which has the feature of calculation, graphing
tools, macro programming language for applications (Hora, M.T., 2019) . From this I
learned about how to create tables. By using excel it helped in performing basic maths
calculations, it provided me the learning of creating charts and graphs. I learned about
how to enter basic formulas in excel for making work and calculation more easier. This is
a software which helps the students in compiling information and lay it an understandable
way. This helps in tracking the most complex tasks. To make the students proficient in
learning of excel training courses can be provided. The use of excel by students helps in
enhancing understanding of content with a graphic presentation of information and visual
representation of data is provided. It helps the students in making spreadsheets easily into
web pages. The use of excel makes the student good and proficient in the college subject.
It helps in building strong analytical thinking and skills.
 Referencing- Referencing is the reading skill that enables learners to recognise the work
of others and to build on their own analysis of knowledge. The referencing allow to
acknowledge the contribution of other writers and researchers in own work (Nutta, J.W
and et.al., 2020). It is an important prat of academic work. Through the module I learned
about the referencing where I was not knowing the importance of referencing. The
module helped me in learning of Harvard, Chicago and Vancouver referencing by which
my skills of attaining the authenticity and transparency was achieved in the academic
report. Certainly, this will help me more in writing assignments of well structure by

acknowledging the original work. The referencing helps in avoid plagiarism by making
ideas more clear. The referencing provides supporting evidence to students of their ideas,
opinions. It allows others to identify the sources used. In the university students are
required to use specific style of referencing so that information provides authentication. It
is a way of giving credit to other writers from whom students have borrowed the ideas
and words.
 CV- The CV is a curriculum Vitae it is a short written summary of the students
qualification, career and education. It is a profesasio0nal document which states the
person skills (Piirto, J., 2021). This document is used when applying for the job and helps
in summarising the education, experiences, family background, skills, etc. In the
companies the employers value to those employees who are willing to learn new skills
and motivated for growth inn careers. The CV provided me the learning of both hard and
soft skills that will contribute in career growth. In preparation of CV I learned the use of
technical skills for developing a good CV application. From the CV I learned on the basis
of writing, focusing on structure and content. The CV helps students in gaining
knowledge that what should be included to make it more attractive. It helps students in
motivation and positive attributes are in more concerned. It brings value in the academic
learning of life that they have learnt from the courses.
2. Reflections on how to approach future challenges of the university course
The university is a platform where students start having growth. The university courses
helps the students in their personal growth, existing experiences are provided. In the university
several challenges are faced by the students on the course while they were on learning stage
(Schutz, P.A and et.al., 2018). In colleges students have to prepare several types of assignments,
project in which they were facing the challenge of meeting deadlines. The students faced the
challenge of effective study as they require an proper sitting and calm environment. The use of
excel was an challenging for the students as in several assignments and projects there was use of
excel for making the calculations graphs as they were not expert and proficient in excel. In
universities students has to plan for their career growth for having the job in future. To look for
job they have to prepare CV which is a challenge faced by the students as they don't have
knowledge how to write and what to include in CV. The assignments are prepared by the
students which need the effective writing of content. To show that the work is done by only them

they need the the content to be citied. The students faced the challenge in referencing to cite their
working so that it can be shown on their own name of working. The students faced the challenge
as they were not having the knowledge how to use cite and which type of referencing style is
required.
CONCLUSION
From above report it is being concluded that knowledge and creativity is very essential
for students as it helps then in preparing of success. The universities helps students in gaining
success by providing them knowledge in all related filed so that it help them in their personal and
professional development. The creativity is something that is putting information in something to
come up with new results and solutions. The knowledge and creativity helps students to think in
innovative way and skills are enhanced.
