SUMMARY
FY026 it is the module that I studied in the first semester at university.
Knowledge and Creativity are two precious dictums that a receptor shapes into the university.
The acquired skills then goes on to extract success at the university and beyond. I started to study
Business and Management when I decided to relocate my business from Romania to London.
This course opened my mind and determined me to be more conscientious with my studies.
Branson says: “Looking back , I believe that the qualities that make for a great entrepreneur –
such as boundless energy, a curious nature and, sometimes, an obstinate streak- are not often
attributes demonstrates by top students in the classroom”. As a result of my work experience
before and during this course, the skills that I acquired studying many topics give me the
opportunity to become very confident in the learning process and to apply the knowledge gained
in my day life.
The 12 topics that I choose to talk about represent me most because they are related to my
business. For example, topics include Thinking into Character (TIC), Formatting Skills, Literacy
Review, Software Practice and other few topics studied in the class and independently at home
(Carmichael, Koumou and Moran, 2015). TIC is development program conducted by the
university to evolve as a better student. I have chosen the topic TIC because it developed the
most helping me to set up my goals. I found that without developing a self-generated thinking
practice, excelling in university is difficult. The next topic that I choose is Formatting Skills. In
the development of any assignment and other literary portrayal, Formatting skillsare extremely
important and help me to give a proper shape to a topic. Without proper formatting of an
assignment in Microsoft Word the writing will not be accepted by the teacher. Without this skill
there will be issues if I have no knowledge about Microsoft Word as basic editing skills.
Literacy Review is the third topic that I spoke about. I have opted for the Literacy
Reviewbecause literacy review compels me to dive deeper into the core issues and gets involved
into the dwell regarding the contrasting viewpoints. Sans a critical analysis and acquiring strong
hold into the core issues, excelling in the university is almost impossible. In my opinion the
nastiest topic was Software Practice which is a key requirement contemporary modern learning.
Modern education has become tech oriented, therefore, the students need to arm themselves
accordingly to speeded learning process.
The purpose of this assignment is to prepare at least 12 documents which is related to the topics
studied in the class during the module, as well the topics studied independently related to this
module. The structure of this portfolio is summary and topics, each topic having a document
attached (Cong and Oosterlee, 2016).

TASK
TIC ( Thinking into character)

These formatting should be done very clearly so that the person’s report won’t be a mess. With
the application of these formatting skills the report looks much attractive and organized. When
the headings and sub headings are properly marked and the whole report would look nice and
easy to read. When formatting is not done properly the report seems unorganized and messy.
This throws a bad impression upon the reader and his will of reading the report goes just half.
Literacy review
Literacy review is a kind of comprehensive summary which a person does of his previous
works. The work can be a summary of books, journals, articles or any kind of research. It is a jest
in which a person tells shortly about his work in particular so that the reader can get a short
synopsis’s about the work which they had performed (Hsu and et. al., 2013). From the literacy
review a reader must know about the main plot upon which that research or that work is upon.
The main purpose of the literacy review is that it helps the reader in understanding the basic
purpose or plot for that work so that the reader should read only if they have the interest into the
plot.
Software practice
Software practice here refers to the software which an individual has used in the
preparations of reports. The software may include MS word or MS excel or any other software.
There is much software which is being used while making a report. This software is used in
making the work more attractive and easy. These tools May not is very much necessary to use
but if use they makes the report more attractive and clear.
