INTRODUCTION
In this essay I will show my journey as a student at Leed University while
studying at Cambridge College. I am proud to be a student at a prestigious British
university and develop myself as a student and as a person. I think I will have a brilliant
career and life in front of me.
TASK 1
Skills developed as a learner during the module
University level training means that most of my training is carried out
independently of the various available resources. I am responsible for my own research
and some academic skills that I expect at university is new. I am expected to get
involved with my topic, write a clear and concise essay with references that are correctly
referenced, prepare reports, give presentations, take exams, and manage my time
effectively. Investing in developing my skills helped me to make the transition to
university life by meeting new demands and being different in time and energy. It also
enhances my academic and professional prospects both part-time and full time, when I
graduated. As a university learner I developed my academic and practical skills such as
I communicate quickly and clearly on paper and also presents short and structured
ideas. I am used to choosing right language and the right style with correct grammar
and spelling. This is the average week in the fall and spring when university and most
other departments in college do not attend classes (Ruddy and Ponte, 2019). I am
expected to use this week to complete my assignments, review and consolidate my
studies, read and study my current topics and broaden knowledge of the material
handled in each module. I might read a large amount of material that can be little or too
big. Therefore, this module helped me to improve my reading and writing skills.
The key variable in defining the quality of what I learned in college is my thinking.
My tutors have played a role in my education, some of which helped me learn more
than others, but even the best professors only helped me very little if I did not have the
essential intellectual skills needed to study. During the semester I was able to see a
significant increase in my time management skills and my motivational and writing skills.
By combining the time between training and online lessons, I dedicate a large part of my
weekly week to academic activities. Returning to college to get a bachelor's degree
reminded me of the complexity of thought and written communication in the middle of
