INTRODUCTION
In the present competitive world it is very important and necessary for students to
develop their skills and knowledge for getting success in the future. There is little difference
between knowledge, skills and ability is that knowledge is theoretical whereas ability and skills
are practical. In addition to that skills are learned through ability is inbuilt. In respect of that,
report will go to reflect about the different types of skills and knowledge which are important for
students to build in effective and valuable manner.
SKILLS REFLECTION
During the studies, I made use of various skills which are inherited and some have to
improve during the coursework. In this respect, skills and ways helped me during academic life
at university are discussed underneath:
Comparison of two websites.
Comparison of two websites is the biggest competitors is useful for a variety of reasons.
This helped to missed opportunity if comparison is not in the proper ways. There are various
websites which are provided specific knowledge for topic.
During the classes I have learned how to differentiate two websites for best usage. This
may creates more effectiveness for me and students to working and getting rights information for
specific topic. Here is mention the way of comparing sites and URL, first read whole page from
both sites than analysis their effectiveness is help to make proper difference. Also, use
comparing tools for making effective comparison. The text tool is all the about finding different
similarity in the content of the page of websites.

Mind mapping.
Mind mapping is the graphical way to present the ideas and concept to others. It is visual
thinking which is help to structure the proper information, helping to better analysis of work and
create proper working ability to complete task. This provides various information on creating
maps in mind by imaging some thinks (Bassok and Latham, 2017). During study most of the
time I was confused about topics and learnings but I learned from my tutor about mind mapping
by following process. This is beings with main concept with purpose, add branches and explore
topic by adding. Last, imaging image and colour. This help to me for analysis work with more
effectiveness.
Poster skills.
A poster is a graphic marking tools which is allowed to present current information about
topic in creative manner. It is the medium of communication serves to transmit a massage by
means by a graphical synthesis. This is effective image and slogans which help to identify easily
anything. Most of the students not able to understand thinks by talking and reading but
understand by images what is the concept and information is presented. This colourful and
creative study which is created more effectiveness. During university, I have learned how to
make creative poster to convey massages (Lin and Magnuson, 2018). Here is mention some steps
which help to make good and effective poster are make it easy to read from the distance, amp up

contrast, make sure about size and location, use clear and big visual, use plenty to space and
include a call to action.
Presentation skills.
Presentation skills are considered as capability of people in which they engage targeted
public for getting favour by influencing their interest toward selected topic. This refers with body
language, way of talking, voice and slides.
At the starting time of my college days, it had been realized by me that is the very important for
me to develop because I have lack of presentation skills (Montoya and et.al., 2019). Also, I was
not able to influence audience toward me. But after attending various classes and sessions of

presentation skills I got various tips and ways like making eye contact, creating attracting slides,
speaking style and use of gesture. Those helped to me out in delivering better presentation in my
class which is help to get higher marks.
Writing skills.
Writing skills are more important and effective part of communication. The good writing
skills are allows communicating and convey their massages with more clarity and ease to a far
larger audiences.
Effective writing is help to attract more people for working together for students. During my
classes I realized I have need to improve writing skills because my written language is quite
mistakes which is not presentable and communicate (Muratori and et.al., 2019). In respect of
that, after attending class and getting tips with my teacher I am able to improve writing skills.
Know I have some tips to writing are ability to communicate, use of observation, knowledge of
grammar, spelling and punctuation.
Avoiding plagiarism.
The plagiarism is referred with the act of presenting views and options as own but which
is not good for the professionalism.

Similar for the all forms of theft, this also have disadvantages which are associated with this.
Lecture given during helped me to learn that ideal students carriers out the proper and effective
submission of project. They do citations in their text in work for taking credit of original writing.
I have also learned that students founds plagiarism in their report, in that academic disciplinary
committee take actions (Negreiros and et.al., 2018). This provides me proper learning about
avoiding plagiarism is must important by freezing words properly.
Improving reading.
Reading is the complex process of decoding various symbols to derive meaning in proper
and respective manner. This is a mean for usage of language acquisitions, communication and
sharing information and ideas for proper understanding (Rabiner, Godwin and Dodge, 2016). At
the starting of my college life I have learned that I have good reading skill but still required to
improve for getting effective success. By attending class and continuous reading I got tips to
improve reading skills are discussing reading comprehensions, practices preach, teach goals
setting and urge thinking before reading. Those helped to me for improve my reading skills with
effectiveness. With the help of this, I have good reading skills in front of every one.

Research skills.
Research skills are refers with the ability to search for topic, locate, extract, organize and
evaluate the present collected information which is related to the topic. This me out for getting
proper information about then topic in effective manner. During the academic class I have
learned importance of research for academic life. I saw that my classmates have wonderful
research skills through which they have able to collect proper information about work.

After observing my classmate at the time of research I have finds information for internet and
collect data which helped to improve my research skills in effective and valuable manner.
Usage of capital letter.
In the English, we can not use capital latter in the text very much. This mainly used for
first letter of sentences names, days and months as well as for abbreviations.
Starting at my college life, I have learned usage of capital letter for proper nouns. The tutor
always use proper capital latter in their text which is reflected effectiveness of report. Also,
learned importance of capital latter within the text and it is useful signals for a reader. This has
main purpose to let the reader known a sentence is beginning to show important words of tittle
and to signal proper names and official titles.
Critical thinking.
Critical thinking is an objective to analysis and evaluate all the issues for making proper
judgement. This creates more effectiveness for proper working by analysing issue and problems.
This is the ability to think clearly and rationally about do to believe.

This includes proper ability to engage in reflective and independent thinking (Votruba‐Drzal,
Miller and Coley, 2016). During my college I have realized that I have lack of critical thinking
because I am not able to solve any critical situation which is creates issues for me. After
attending classes I have improved critical thinking by trying to reverse things, evaluate existing
evidence and questions about basic assumptions.
Academic keywords.
Academic keywords and writing refers to the style of expression which researchers use to
define the intellectual boundaries of their disciplines and specific area of expertise. This help to
make the presentable writing in more effective ways. In the college life, I have learned the main
purpose of present information in order to display a clear understanding the particular subjects. I
was not good for writing academic ways to present report in effective manner. By attending
classes I have known about academic keywords for writing effective and valuable report.
Academic writing includes aim, argue, compare, because, namely, results etc. With the help of
academic keywords my report is more presentable. This is highly helpful for me to works in
effective and valuable manner. With the help of this it is created more effectiveness of my report
to present in front of any other.

Reflective learning.
Reflective learning is a form of education in which the student must be reflected upon
their learning experience.
During the lecture, I learned that Gibbs reflective model is effective and valuable which is assists
a person in executing effective reflective thinking and work writing (Bassok and Latham, 2017).

I have known about usage of this model at university and gain appreciation for effective
reflective work.
SUMMARY
Throughout my over all experience of learning is best and effective for learning in better
manner. I have gone through ample experience which shaped my academic life and work. Some
people helped me out in learning personal skills where other among developed with higher
professional skills. Those contribute highly for brightening my career. As per above discussion
various and different types of skills, it had been said that some skills of me wonders as that
helped for improving working style and another gives chances to growth in life. Those skills
included like research mind mapping, avoiding plagiarism, presentation skills and writing skills.
As per my experience, I have realized that the presentation skill improved by using appropriate
use of body language and making proper eye contact with each and every people. It can said that
with effective presentation skill I am able to influence people about topic.
On the other side, poster making skills has taught me to represent my ideas in front of
whole team and group members (Lin and Magnuson, 2018). This creates more effectiveness for
me presents effective and attractive poster presentation. In addition to that, I have further realized
that apart from the presentation and poster making skills also includes the appropriate gesture,
pitch volume, well presentable manner, dressing manner and many more essential thinking
which supports presentations equality and contribute in making it more effective and valuable
thinking. During the college life, I have personally realized those skills took more time to learn
and adopted them in effective and valuable manner. After, passing some time I have realized that
skills are properly maintained and creates more effectiveness for working. There has required me
to update and improve my all the skills time to time so that I can groom and improved my self
for proper and effective working.
Apart from that, it can say time to time improvement has highly effective and valuable
for being updated and motivated for proper working. This provides proper support me for
gaining higher number of marks and making top ranked in college. Those skills also helped to
become a successful for my bright future (Montoya and et.al., 2019). This improves my present
and actual skills I am aware about their knowledge and learning which have been taught in
classroom. Moreover, development of critical thinking helped to solve any issues within the time
and taking effective decisions for managing works. This had been more important and effective

for working ability to performance. In sum of all, it can say that learning and improvement of
these skills, I can gain better academic marks and could also enhance my success in career.
Those helped me to create and become a more successful the future.
CONCLUSION
From the above study, it had been concluded that the academic skills and learning has
build effective life. This has important and effective for students to getting extra works life and
marks in college life. With the help of this, I can become a successful professional life in my
future.
