The feedback from another team presentation report helps me to adopt various skills and
techniques that can improve my presentation procedures in future. In order to improve the
presentation, the procedures that should be used in relation with proper research will be further
discussed in this reflective essay. Hence, the paper will reflect my learning practices by which I
can improve my presentation skills in the future.
After reviewing another team feedback report, it is quite evident that some points on the
presentation should have to improve for a future aspect to get a clear and concise result of the
respective industry (van Ginkel et al., 2017). The presentation is based on the food and
hospitality industry of Nepalese/ Indian restaurant that present in Burwood, NSW. From the
presentation, I have seen that business structure has adequately described, but the business
revenue, turnover and also the position of this restaurant in the respective market are not well
described.
Hence this is a factor that demonstrates the lack of research over the selected industry and due to
this reason it failed to provide strong engage and visual impact of the audiences. Therefore, it can
be said that proper research on these various factors should improve the presentation and thereby
the team skills of doing a project will also enhance (Schneider et al., 2015). In other words, with
the help Performance Improvement Theory, I can improve my presentation skills in future as this
theory help a person to rely on the hypothesis that helps to increase their success factors (Kopf et
al., 2015).
The theory improves a person ability through two different procedure one is by continuous
improvement of the underlying processes or by through quantum leaps (De Grez, Valcke, and
Roozen, 2014). Hence, with the help of these procedures, I can improve my presentation skills in
future days and thereby get good feedback from my teacher. Apart from this, after reviewing the
feedback report I have also noticed that visually the presentation unable to attract audience
attraction because in the whole presentation no such pictures of the restaurant or budget,
products, and services details are not correctly mentioned.
Hence to improve the presentation skills in future, it should be kept in mind that decent pictures,
budget details as well as products and service details of the respective restaurant should be
explicitly mentioned (Chollet et al., 2015). In order to improve the presentation skills teamwork
is important and from this presentation of the hospitality industry, it is quite evident that team

members are not properly worked for this assignment task so that they cannot miss all these
details (Tuomainen, 2016). Therefore, after determining this, I have discovered that to improve
my presentation skills teamwork is necessary so that research will be done properly.
I have also interpreted that this review has to help me to understand the necessary items that
should be required for making a good presentation in the future. In other words, the feedback
helps me to learn the importance of using the points for a presentation. Therefore from this
feedback, I have evaluated that for improving the presentation skills I have to think strategically
so that I can cover all points of the respective industry and thereby get appreciating comments
from my teacher.
In order to apply this learning, I have to make a plan and read various articles that suggested me
about the writing procedure of presentation. With the help of these readings, I can easily gain
knowledge regarding the writing skills of presentation and thereby improve my strategy and
research procedures of presentation writing.
From the other team review template, I have learned that their presentation also lacks proper
reach and the teacher suggested that only one team member work is noticeable from their
presentation. In addition, the specific nature of the project is succinctly and clearly explained that
had been quite appreciated by their teacher. Besides this, from the presentation, both lack of
research work, as well as lack of confidence of writing the particular task, has been determining
that suggest they failed to provide strong visual impact and thereby also unsuccessful in grabbing
the audience attention.
From this view, I have learned that in order to grab attention some realistic approaches or
examples should be mentioned in the presentation so that it easily visually expressible and the
research procedures are visible too. In other words, from the teach feedback I have learned that
in order to provide a good presentation proper research and teamwork is necessary.
The feedback from other teamwork review helps me to develop my presentation skills so that I
can make a good score in writing a presentation on future days. I have learned that proper
research and teamwork help me to improve my presentation skills.
