Managing a successful business project is very essential for developing various
opportunities for the organisation. In the present report, aim and objectives are developed on the
basis of which whole project is conducted in an effective manner. It has been said that in this
report, different sections are covered which includes project management plan, research
methodology, data analysis, recommendations and many more. A project management plan is
developed in this research which includes various elements such as cost, time, resources, scope
and many more. After conducting this research it has been identified that primary research is the
method which is quite beneficial in order to collect accurate and authentic data. In this report,

method which provide various opportunities to the organisation which as a result enhance the
brand image of company. By adopting globalisation method companies will be able to attract
large number of customers towards their entity which as a result enhance its profitability.
Primark is chosen as the base company in this report which was founded in the year 1969 (Boyle,
2017). Its headquarter is located in Ireland and deals fast fashion industry. In this project,
various things are included which need to be conducted effectively for which aims and objectives
are going to be developed. Apart from this, work breakdown structure, Gantt chart and project
management plan is included. In addition to this, recommendation is given to the company after
conducting the research in an effective manner. It includes detail explanation on the research
methodology topic. At last, recommendation and reflection is given at the end of this research.

P1 Aims and objectives
Globalisation is one of the most important method used by companies in order to

aim of generating higher success. Company mainly operates its business functions in different
countries across the world (Clinton and Whisnant, 2019). In the present context of Primark,
management team of the company select, recruit, provide training sessions for the development
of employees so that they can accomplish their goals and objectives effectively. In reference to

the present context, company hire a researcher so that they can accomplish the aim and
objectives and develop positive result. Research aim, objectives of this research are as
follows:

integration and interaction within individuals, government of different countries, companies
across the world. In reference to the current research topic, it has been said that globalisation,
selection, recruitment and training is one of the most important method which provide
assistance in order to hire best and suitable candidates. With the help of highly qualified
employees, managers of the company attain their goals and objectives within stipulated

period of time. Along with this, by providing training sessions to employees on a regular
basis might assist in enhancing the efficiency of staff members.
Different methods of selection, recruitment and training which is adopted by management
team of Primark
As per the opinion of Omri, Frikha and Bouraoui, (2015), performance of organisation
is highly dependent upon the efficiency of staff members therefore employees performance is
inter related with organisational performance. Both plays very essential role in order to
accomplish organisational goals and objectives in an effective manner. It has been identified that
managers of an organisation use various methods for selecting, recruiting and hiring so that they
can accomplish organisational goals and objectives effectively. Management team of Primark
adopt different methods such as campus placement, online portals and so on. Along with this,
interested candidates use LinkedIn, Indeed and make profile so that they can grab various
opportunities. In addition to this, process of selection includes various methods such as
telephonic interview, face to face interview, screening of application and many more.

various problems and issues faced by managers of Primark while they conduct training and
development sessions. It is very essential to provide training sessions to the staff members

It has also been identified that while providing training sessions to meet international
requirements managers face various issues which includes technological barrier, cultural and
language barrier and many more. All these barriers affect the effectiveness of training
sessions provided by companies to their staff members.
P2 Produce a project management plan
Project management plan is a confidential document which is developed by the
management team of the company. It refers to the blueprint of each and every activity which
is going to be undertake within a year. In order to perform every activity in an effective
manner, various strategies are going to be formulated. With the help of project management
plan, team members of the company will be able to perform their task effectively and within

specific period of time (Crane and Matten, 2016). In the context of present research,
investigator has developed PMP so that they can perform their functions in an effective
manner. Some of the major elements are as follows:
 Cost: For every project, financial resource plays very essential role in order to conduct
the research in an effective manner. This is the backbone of every research as without
money activities can not be performed successfully. There are various types of cost
incurred in the project which includes operation cost, production cost, R&D cost and
many more. In the present research, total cost is around £350 in order to conduct the
research in an effective manner. Therefore, it is very essential for the researcher to
calculate the cost in an effective manner before conducting the research (Deresky,
2017). So that, funds can be collected and managed by the team within specific time
frame.
 Scope: Scope of the present research has a wide range of scope, as with the help of
which they get new directions and opportunities at the marketplace. Each and every
project have some scope which as a result provide them opportunities. Before conducting
the research, it is very essential to define its scope. Along with this, scope of this
research is vast which provide ample number of opportunities while adopting
globalisation process.
 Quality: Quality is the another important element which need to be considered by
researcher while conducting this research in an effective manner. It is very essential to
maintain the quality of work done by researcher which as a result produce positive
outcome.
 Communication: In order to conduct the research effectively and positively it is very
important for the investigator to communicate with their team members on a regular

one person to another within stipulated time period.

within 2 months in an effective manner (Dutta and Bose, 2015).

technological as well as financial resources are used by the investigator.
 Risk: It is one of the most essential element faced by investigators while conducting
research effectively. In the present context of research, it has been identified that it is
one of the most crucial element of project management plan. While collecting
information from respondents, it is very important to maintain the confidentiality of
personal information who take part in the process of gathering information.
P3 Gantt chart and work break down structure
Gantt chart: It is a method developed in the year 1910 by Henry Gantt, which
mainly shows the equilibrium between time as well as activities performed by individuals in
order to complete the task. Gantt chart is a graphical representation of activities performed
and time duration which mainly shows the time duration of activities on x axis and on the
other hand performed activities on y axis on the chart (Glukhov, Ilin and Levina, 2015). In
the context of present research, investigator adopt this method which indicates the starting
as well as finishing point of activities. With the help of this, investigator will be able to
perform their work according to the predefine time period. This as a result, create positive
outcome within specific time period.

Work breakdown structure: WBS is a tool mainly used by project manager in order to divide
complex and time consuming task in different small activities. This method plays very
important role in the present research as it enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of team

members. WBS structure is used by project leader in order to complete the task within
specific period of time and in effective manner (Hillary, 2017). It has also been said that
each team member is assigned with work according to their efficiency. With the help of
WBS structure, researcher will be able to enhance the accuracy and reliability of result.

information about a specific topic.
Primary Data: Primary data refers to the data which is collected by the researcher for
the first time in order to conduct the research in an effective manner. There are various sources
from which investigator will be able to gather data and information which includes personal
interview, questionnaire, observation, survey, focused group and so on (Huntington, 2018). In
the context of present research, with the help of primary data collection method researcher will
be able to gather accurate, authentic and reliable information which as a result produce positive

outcome. Apart from this, it is one of the most time consuming and costly method which requires
skilled candidates to collect desired information and data.
Secondary Data: Secondary data is another method for collecting data which is based on
secondary data which is already collected by someone. There are various sources of secondary
data collection method which includes books, newspaper, journals, websites, case studies and so
on. It is one of the easiest method for collecting data, which save time as well as cost of the
researcher. In reference to the present research, researcher use books, online articles, journals
and websites so that they will be able to gather required information.
In reference to the current study, researcher adopts primary as well as secondary data
collection method so that they can gather relevant data and information on a specific topic within
given time frame. Investigator use questionnaire method in primary whereas in case of secondary
method they use books, journals, online articles for collecting data.
Qualitative research: In context of research, qualitative data plays very important role in
order to determine the characteristics as well as traits and is mainly represented by number code,
symbols and name. In this type of research, collected information and data is examined by the
description of data and experience. It is the kind of research which assist in collecting detailed
information on a particular topic (Julien, 2018). Such type of data is being collected with the
help of observation method, survey, personal interview, focused groups, and so on. In reference
to the current study, investigator adopt qualitative research method whose outcome is generally
based on the perception of human.
Quantitative research: It is the type of research which is mainly based on the numerical
format as well as expressed in numbers. In this type of research, gathered information is analysed
by adopting statistical formula and various numerical methods. Data and information is collected
with the help of questionnaire method so that the research will be conducted in an effective
manner. Data collected with this method is quite reliable and specific as well as for elaborating
the research, graphs and charts are used by researcher.
In the context of present research, for attaining true, specific, reliable and authentic result
investigator adopt qualitative research method.
Sampling: Sampling refers to a process mainly used for observing or identifying sample
from overall population. It is the methodology used by researcher in order to divide the sample
according to the requirement of specific research (Kendrick, 2015). There are various type of

sampling which includes quota, probability, clustering, non-probability, panel sampling and so
on. In reference to the present research, investigator adopt random sampling method where every
individual have the right to got selected for conducting the research in an effective manner and
produce positive outcome. Along with this, in the present report researcher chose 30 respondents
from the overall population for creating positive outcome.

must use authentic and accurate information so that they can enhance their
knowledge about a particular topic. With the help of this, researcher will be able to
enhance their skills, experience and information which assist them in their near
future.
P7 Reflection
From the whole journey of this research, it has been observed by me that I have face
various issues related to this project. While conducting this research I got to know that my
communication skill as well as my time management skill is not effective which affects the
overall result of research. When I was collecting data from the respondents, my
communication skill is enhanced by passing the time which assist me in near future. Along
with this, it has also been identified that all my skills are enhanced when I was conducting
this research which gives me various positive results in my near future.
While conducting this research various activities are going to be performed by the
researcher so that positive outcome will be produced. One of the biggest task for researcher
is to gather information from respondents. There are some factors or elements which affect
the overall result of the research. While collecting information it has been identified that my
communication and convincing skill is not effective which reduce the quality of research
outcome. It has been analysed that while collecting information, respondents do not provide
correct answers which affect the whole process in a negative manner. This is the process
which requires lot of time, cost and patience which affects the result as I was quite nervous

while communicating with respondents. Along with this, majority of respondents thinks that
it is one of the most time consuming activity which negatively affects the output of this
research. But at the end of this research, my communicating and time management skill is
enhanced which assist me in my near future.
CONCLUSION
As per the above stated report, it has been concluded that globalization is the method
which highly influence the performance of business organization in both positive as well as
negative manner. It has also been identified that each and every organization need to adopt
effective recruitment policies which assist in selecting, hiring and recruiting best candidate
for the development of company at the competitive marketplace. In this report, a Project
management plan is prepared with the help of which researcher will be able to perform their
task in an effective manner and within specific time period. Along with this, researcher
adopt both primary as well as secondary method for collecting data which as a result
produce positive outcome which is authentic and accurate.

With the help of effective communication skill I was able to complete this
research in an effective manner. Reason behind this is that I have convinced
various respondents in order to collect effective information.
4. What problems emerged during the project and how were they tackled?
Was there timely identification of issues and resolution during the project
process?
While conducting this research, investigator faced various issues which is related
with the behaviour of respondents which is quite negative as they think it is time
consuming activities. In order to handle, such situation it is very essential to
communicate effectively with respondents while collecting information.
5. What did you learn from undertaking the project?
I have developed effective team building and communication skill while
completing this research. Reason behind this is that it will help me in conducting
the research in an effective manner.
6. How would you rate your performance as a management consultant
leading the project?
I will give 8 out of 10 number. I have given all the efforts in order to conduct the

My biggest strength is communication skill which help me while conducting this
research in an effective manner. Along with this, while observing all the skills one
of the biggest weakness is team working which affects the overall working in
