in effective manner. Along with this, Stewardship theory is important which is widely used by
the company to determine the current issues and also set the alternative solution to resolve it

help) took place, Primark was worried about its reputation and was very much aware that they
may go through number of losses as well. This worry made them taking many initiatives and
management made strict rules and policies related to Child labour (Seabrook, 2015). On the other
hand, Chinese Parliament has also charged them for exceeding number of hours. After that,
Company started using different digitalised tools through which they can calculate working
hours of every single individual at workplace (Van Damme and Vermeulen, 2014). On the other

that month, management and administrators both looked over rules that they followed this helped
them in adopting policies that they did not followed.
4) Possibility of similar events happening UK
Yes, there is a similarity to happen the similar events again in United Kingdom. There are
the different reasons for which the same events can be taken place such as companies want the
labour which can do more work in minimum cot. So, for them, children are the better option. For
this reason the child labour is not stop completely (Smith, 2017). On the other hand, Primark
company does not give importance to the existing conditions which has been arisen in firm. In
addition to this, rapid development of Primark company can make committee as well as directors
not pay more attention towards the scandals. There are many different rules and regulations are
formed by the government of United Kingdom which company needs to be followed at the time
of conduct business operations. In business, there should be more flexibility to perform the
business activities in a significant manner.
Other main reason for occur of same events in the future is existing accountability as well
as existing system of corporate governance in United Kingdom. Under this, current system of

Primark company is not much effective to deal with issues which are arising in country on
continuous basis against Primark. Existing corporate governance system of UK and also its
accountability is flexible as well as relaxed in the nature. For an instance- Legal system of
United Kingdom states that the corporate governance should self- regulated. In addition to this,
flexibility and also reliability of corporate governance lead to the adverse conditions. If UK will
not adopt the rules then in this case every firm will work in their own manner and there will be
no systematic way to conduct the business operations and activities. It is necessary that
Corporate Governance Codes of United Kingdom should be reconstructed on the basis of
Corporate Governance Framework of United States (Smith and Milligan, 2015). In order to
conduct the business in a significant or better manner, there is a requirement to Primark to follow
the necessary rules and practices.

different scenarios and also scandals which have developed in an organisation and possible
reasons behind development of all scandals. In order to resolve the problems of ethics and the
corporate governance (Steenkamp, 2017). It will be helpful in develop the positive affect on the
mind of people. If company will work by following all the ethics as regulations in an effective
manner. These theories are mainly related with corporate governance, ethics and risks because
all these factors are need to be determined for eliminating issues which can hinder company in
executing action plan.
With the help of analysis company will get to know about information that are related to
regulatory framework of both United Kingdom and United States. This will further provides
knowledge of different code of conducts and legislations that can have an direct impact on
company in a nation. Other than this, unethical behaviour done by the organisation i.e. Primark is
being studied in addition to this, for understanding issues related to corporate governance
company is using risk management diagram (Tucker, 2015). In order to have a proper detailed
literature reviews was being done and regulations like Sarbanes-Oxley Act, codes of corporate

6. Investment decision
Overall analysis of case study help in taking better decision towards the investment of the
organization. By taking right decision Primark can easily improve their growth level and at the
time time also increase sales. In addition of this, corporate governance issues, theories are also
help Primark to decide whether to invest of not in the business organization (Thompson, Benson
and McDonagh, 2015). With the assistance of this, company also improve their positive
performance at market place. In addition of this, scandals are put negative impact on the overall
performance of the company and its target customers as well. Due to this, the service users are
also define their less interest towards the company products and services. This will negatively
affect the overall performance of the firm at market place. Thus, it is important for Primark to
make their policies and strategies effectively which may support them to improve performance
and reduce negative impact on the business activities. Mainly the company does not effectively
comply with legal codes, regulations which adversely impact on the brand image of the
company. Thus, Primark have to communicate with their staff memners and top management as
to determine the solution towards the issues and scandals. With the help of this, they can easily
enhance their productivity level and also capture larger market share from its rivals. But it can
not ensure that company will maintain their growth in upcoming time frame and also not ensure
