This report examines the "Healing Circle" project in Kalumburu, Western Australia, through the lens of primary health care principles. The project, aimed at supporting an indigenous community impacted by child sexual assault, is analyzed concerning two key social determinants of health: social relationships/support and education. The report highlights how the project aligns with the primary health care principles of community participation and health promotion, providing examples from the video and supporting these with scholarly references. Furthermore, it explores the application of the Ottawa Charter for Health Promotion, specifically the strategy of advocacy, and the importance of cultural competence for the project's success. The report underscores the project's efforts to address social determinants, promote positive coping strategies, and foster health equity within the community.
