This document presents a solution to a healthcare assignment focusing on the management of two distinct cases using the principles of primary and secondary surveys. The first case involves a 5-year-old child brought to the clinic after a fall, exhibiting drowsiness. The primary survey emphasizes the need for diagnostic imaging, initial pain management, and addressing the child's mental state. The secondary survey highlights the importance of empathetic communication and providing a supportive environment for the child. The second case involves a 65-year-old male patient with diabetes and hypertension, presenting with limb weakness and slurred speech. The primary survey stresses the importance of a thorough medical history, differential diagnosis, and medication review. The secondary survey focuses on providing emotional support, quality care, and home care facilities for the aging patient. Both cases underscore the importance of a holistic approach to patient care, considering both physical and psychological aspects, and the crucial role of healthcare staff in providing effective and compassionate treatment.
