INTRODUCTION
In a society as well as community health and social care is very important element. There
are so many diseases which people suffer from. People should be aware of those diseases and
must have the cure for it (Appelbaum, Lidz and Meisel, 2011). Health care people are
responsible for providing treatments and medications. This report is based on East and West
Care Home which is situated in London, which is mainly responsible for taking care of
vulnerable people. There are various problems at various health centres. Various complaints are
been received from residents and families about the quality of care. There is insufficient
knowledge of applications of clinical-care protocols, inadequate supervisions regarding safety
and efficiency care. All these points are discussed in this report and there is analysis of those
scenario where there has been wrong medication to a patient and lead to overdosed and shredded
evidence.
TASK 1
1.1 Ensuring individuals for their health care through support.
Main source of health and cultural care department is of providing support and services to
vulnerable and needy people. The principle support that is applied to East and West Care Home
is in such a way that it should maintain users with service and providing good health and well
being of the patients coming to the care centre and care workers must be aware of all the rights
and provide the patient with rights and their personality improvement. People that come from
different cultures and beliefs are present in this health care centre but care takers attends every
patient's individuality and their religion. There would be no discrimination regarding this.
1.2 Methods of protection patients, clients or colleagues from harm.
For provision of safeguarding for patients, staff and other members who are related to
this service centres it is a key responsibility of health and care department (Bastable, 2013). For
making sure that everyone is safe and risk free, there is requirement of analysing what are the
factors that can cause damage to any people or harm their security. Harms can be physical harms,
financial harm, emotional harm. There should be proper system of providing safeguards
methods apply effective safety and risk reducing state in the care centre. Care workers can easily
handle physical harm by using safety measures properly but handling mentally disturbed people
become a little tough job.

1.3 A Person centralised approach in health and social care services.
Basically this type of approach means encouraging and accomplishing the needs and
preferences of clients. They are bucked up to make decisions strictly under the privateness and
dignified procedures (Brewin and MacCarthy, 2011). This seems to be one of the best activity to
handle any number of customer efficiently. This method basically guarantee optimum care for
service users. Request of service user are backed up and fulfilled in process and services as felt
by the sense of individualism and basically for their health and well being which should be good.
Personal preferences of service users should also be satisfied which make the centre very reliable
and trustworthy.
1.4 Conflicts and Ethical dilemma faced by care worker.
Care person usually face situation which are contradictory at times. In such conditions it
is essential for care taker to maintain East and West Care Home policies and rules for that
instance and their for well-being of the clients. Ethical dilemmas are created in situations like
this. Usually there can be conflicts which arise due to miss match in the opinions, belief, culture
between aid workers and service users. This health and service centre are affected by these
conflicts and quality of health and care which is being hampered by such situations. Another
ethical issue is called restraining of people. Some people think that suppressing is inhuman and
should be avoided at every circumstances.
TASK 2
Covered in PPT.
TASK 3
Covered in PPT.
TASK 4
4.1 Role and responsibilities of those working outside the health care centre.
Proving conductive and therapeutic environment which is provided for service user to
play a duty of carer in well-being and social care centres (Purdie, Dudgeon and Walker , 2010).
A human relationship which would be trustworthy then it will play a vital role in processing
because mostly this carer stays with service user. The company user depend on carer and normal
function and freedom of client should be practised as much as possible.

4.2 Own contribution to improvement of welfare care system.
For guaranteeing a smooth gushing of this system, employees and staff has to precede
organisational policies for this establishment is very essential. For purpose of minimizing the
misunderstanding and misinterpretation within the organisation there is requirement of making
organisational policies clear and straightforward. With improvements in these policies there is
own contribution by carer will contribute much and cause primary affects to these laws. A good
working workforce is developed only when staff obeys and adheres with East and West Care
Home policies.
4.3 Recommendations to create personal contribution for great practice requirement.
Firstly there should be proper knowledge of code practices to the general health council,
in order to meet better performance pattern necessity (Rollnick, Butler and Aloia, 2008). By
learning appropriate knowledge there can be determination of national policies and standards
through adhering to them. We should also evaluate ourselves and measure our performances.
Carer should take local and national policies into consideration. Following some general rules
and regulations in this well-being and social care firm which is set up by this structure would be
basically mandatory for us.
CONCLUSION
From the above report, it has been analysed that there should be care workers
responsibility for providing care and service to service users and play an important role in
overcoming their unwellness. Everybody in the society have to visit health and social care for
treatments and medication because there can be no one who would never fall ill. There should be
proper following of rule and regulations in East and West Care Home and all should be aware of
their duties. Inter relation among service providers make them comfortable to work together in
same environment with government.
