INTRODUCTION
The present report is based on understanding leadership and management concept of
Pepsico Food Mexico (PFM). It is worldwide food processing company of USA increases
revenue by providing food services to customers at high level. Different leadership theories and
approaches can be understood here.
COURSEWORK 2
Applying different leadership theories are crucial for leading people at workplace to
achieve set targets effectively. Under this process, various tools and techniques are used for
managing team and developing workers' skills at high level. Therefore leader applies theories
such as trait and contingency that is useful for implementing strategic plans. In this regard,
through trait theory, leader communicates target and strategies to be followed on that is useful to
gain effectiveness of organization. However, under contingency theory, leader own prepares plan
and further gives instruction to workers for performing their role model. LMX theory is stand
for leader member exchange theory that is useful for creating bond between leader and team
members of the organization. However, trust and respect is obtained for working in team as well
provides different ideas for increasing efficiency of group work. In addition to this, follower
ship leadership is beneficial for gaining team's objective systematically. Thus, leader expects
from team members to follow his instructions. It is considered that for effective team work, it is
necessary to follow all instructions and directions of leader to increase efficiency of entity
adequately. Thus, leader of Pepsico uses this theories for gaining contribution of workers to
increase team building efficiency at large scale. For improving business performance of Pepsico
by qualitative services of food services is done through leaders' role model. In this process,
leader of the entity builds team, prepares strategies and further segments work among team
members. Therefore, different planning and decision-making is processed by coordination of
leader and group workers.
As per the given scenario of Pepsico, customer demand and perception is analyzed by
Consumer Strategic Insight (CSI). It provides idea and suggestions for improving qualities of
services. However, director of the organization Jorge Rubio decides to change Pepsico's strategic

structure of market research research department. In this regard, it focuses to mold organizational
functions as flexible as possible (Grohar, DiCroce and Langan, 2016). According to this,
strategies to get adjusted as per changes occurs at workplace are implemented. Therefore, action

research. It includes qualities and business performances related to food services of entity. Thus,
increasing in working efficiency to implement employment and qualities of organization at high
level. However, it can be achieved through leadership skills and managerial planning to make
entity more creative. It influences different business environmental factors as well working
