Motivating the Employees of the organization
It is essential for the organization to motivate the employees of the organization so that
job satisfaction and productivity level can be enhanced. The motivation level of the employees
can be enhanced by improving the communication between the line managers and employees so
that they can interact easily with each other. The company should also take into consideration
“Maslow's hierarchy of needs” so that the satisfaction and motivation level of the employees can
be enhanced. In this theory there are five stages Physiological, safety, belonging, esteem and
self-actualization need that should be considered by the managers (Healy, 2016). The managers
of the organization should try to increase the safety and belonging needs of the employees.
Incentive is also one of the factors that help to enhance the motivation level of the employees.

Cognitive theory takes into consideration two types of rewards like intrinsic and
extrinsic. Extrinsic motivation is related to salary and bonus of the employees who are working
in the organization. So, the company should give focus on motivating the employees by giving
proper wages according to the qualification. Another is an intrinsic reward that is related to
personal growth and achievement of an individual. If the employee has the personal growth then

they it will help to enhance the efficiency of the work and increase the overall productivity level
of the organization. If the employees are motivated then it can be easy to accomplish goals and
objectives in an effective manner (Maslow, 2015).
