Introduction
In my opinion, the main objective of this paper is to discuss the selection procedure of
the project of the UBER. For starting a project it is very important to choose the proper
project selection methodology. According to me, this paper will discuss different kinds of
project management tools available in the industry and also an appropriate tool for UBER.
This paper will elaborate regarding the importance of the proper management process of a
particular project of UBER. As per my knowledge, it will also discuss PMBOK and its role in
UBER. It will elaborate on the idea of the leadership styles of the UBER Company.
PMBOK knowledge and PMI’s code of ethics
As per my knowledge there are ten PMBOK knowledge areas includes Management
of the Integration related to the project, Management of the scope of project, Managing the
schedule of project, Managing of the expenditure, Managing of the quality, Managing of the
resources, Managing of the communications, Managing of the risk, managing of the
procurement and managing of the stakeholder. In my opinion, in case of integrated
management of the project of UBER Company can have the assignments to take the entire
project and adds them into a single one. The process this includes:
Designing of the charter of the project
Designing of the plan for the management of the project
Managing and direction of the project work.

Termination of the project or a particular portion of the project.
The management of the projects of UBER includes different areas of the scope of the project.
This assignment can be included into the project in UBER. There are different steps in this
context. It includes:
Managing the scope of the project
Requirements are collected
Definition of the scope
Designing of Work Breakdown Structure
Validation of the scope of the project
Controlling different kinds of scope related to the project.
As per my knowledge, managing the scheduling of the project is very much time consuming
for the projects of UBER Company. In the beginning, the project manager must divide the
assignment into different parts and also plans for different kinds of the schedule. According
to my managing, the cost related to the project must be an important factor for the UBER
Company. The expenditure of the company must be done by using the tremendous estimation
of cost. The quality management of a certain project of the UBER can be a vital point. In my
opinion, management of the resource of the UBER Company must be done in an efficient
manner. In case management of the communication related to the project, the communication
can be a great factor in this case. As per my knowledge, managing the risk related to UBER
Company can be resolved by using different types of analysis. In my opinion, in the case of
project procure management, the recruitment of contractors for different zones can be very

5Principles of Project Management
The code of ethics of PMI’s is vdery much important for UBER Company. It says that
responsibility; honesty can move the ethical conduct for the efficient management of project.
Different Approaches of Project Management
In my opinion, there are five most popular project management approaches that are
available. It includes Traditional, Waterfall, Agile, Systems and Program Management.
Traditional
As per my knowledge, it is a procedure regarding the achievement of the project
manager to targeted deliverables and outputs in a certain span of time of UBER. The cost of
the project is pre-determined. In my opinion, the procedure is applicable to that kind of
project in which not many changes are required for UBER. According to me, the phases of
this approach include- initialization, plan of the project, execute the project, inspect and
control of projects and termination of projects.
Agile Method
In my opinion, this methodology is very much flexible at the time of managing certain
projects of UBER. This method is applicable to those projects where the requirements are
changing in a continuous manner.
Waterfall
In my opinion, this is a good process for the projects having linear kinds of phases.
The project manager is not allowed to begin any phase without completing the previous one
of UBER.
Systems
In my opinion, it is a methodology of designing the project can represented by using
some pictures related to UBER. According to me, The phases of this methodology includes

preparation of the projects, plan of the project, inspection of the project, adopting different
kinds of process related to the project and learn from the project of UBER. These phases are
going through a loop.
Program management
In my opinion, this methodology is very much useful for the managers who can tackle
a huge number of projects at a time of UBER Company. In this approach the improvements
related to the functionality of the project is the main point of concern.
In my opinion, In the case of UBER application, the best method is Agile. It is
because the UBER application is customer-centric. For designing this kind of application
agile method will be the correct choice. According tto me, In Agile methodology, customer
can give different kinds of feedback to the developers as well as the testers. By taking this
feedback they can modify the application. That is also a good reason for using Agile in
UBER application. As per my knowledge, by using the agile method, the deliverables of the
UBER application can be given to the customer in a short period. In my opinion, if this
method is used for the UBER application then there will be a day-t-day conversation with
project manager and developers. This will enhance the performance of the development of
the application. In this application, the outstanding design process is necessary. The Agile
methodology is the only choice of doing this. In this agile method, the changes performed at
late are accepted happily. This is very much suitable for UBER application.
Different tools related to the Project Management
According to me, there are different kinds of tools that is related to the project
management that can be used by the UBER. This includes Dashboards, Gantt Charts,
Reporting, and Timesheets.

information of UBER Company by using visual approach. It also examines and also views
different kind’s performance indicators of UBER.
Gantt chart
In my opinion, it is a type of chart where the information of the UBER can be
represented by the bars. This chart enlists different assignments that are related to the UBER.
These assignments can be done in the axis that is vertical in nature. The time gaps of the
UBER Company can be represented by the axis that is horizontal in nature.
Reporting
According to me, the project management must be done before stating of a project by
UBER Company. It is mainly used for formal as well as informal kind of project. It also tells
the condition of the project at present.
Timesheets
As per my knowledge it is used keep record of the times of the employees of UBER
Company who are involved in the project. Inputs of this timesheets include tracking of
project as well as controlling of the projects.
According to me the most important tool for project management of includes the
reporting. It stores the data related to the stakeholder of the UBER. It also stores the data
related to the condition of the project and also passes the news to the stakeholders of the
related to the condition of the project and also passes the news to the stakeholders of the

Critical analysis of risk management
In my opinion risk management is a very important factor not only for UBER but also
for any kind of Company. It is required for the UBER Company to efficiently tackle the risk
related to the UBER Company. It will help to identify the threats that are related to UBER
Company. The UBER should share the different risk management expert so that they can
solve this kind of problem very efficiently. In my opinion, the second option for managing
the risk of the UBER should be accepting the risk. If there is a huge amount of loss during the
protection of risk, then it should be a good option in this particular aspect. According to me,
before accepting the risk the company should perform the analysis of the impact related to
that kind of risk. In my opinion, the last option should be controlling the risk.

In my opinion, after concluding the paper this paper can be told that paper has
effectively discussed the knowledge related to the project management strategy. As per my
knowledge, for selecting a project for the improvement of UBER Company the paper had
efficiently mentioned that must be considered for that company. Along with the different
kinds of the project of UBER the Agile methodology is selected for developing the different
approaches of the project. According to me, it also discussed different kinds of project
management that can be used by the UBER Company. Among them, reporting is selected as
the most suitable for the UBER Company.
