INTRODUCTION
Personal developments help for improving skills and capabilities required to do work in
effective manners. Maintaining balance in work life and personal life is necessary for healthy
lifestyle. Present report describes about methods which can be used to achieve work life
balance .
1 Steps to maintain work life balance and minimise interest
It is essential to maintain balance in work life . . Stable life helps us getting healthy and
happy life (Dicke and et.al , 2015). The steps that should be taken by me to maintain work life
balance are as follows:
I will start setting objectives in life and I will try my best to achieve that goal.
I will try to manange my work effectively , reviews, feedbacks and learn factors for
success would be taken by me . I will make proper schedule that should be followed by
me.
Boundaries to balance my personal and professional life will be made by me . I can try
that my work should not affect my personal life.
I will carry positive attitude so that it will help me to achieve my goals.
My vacation time will be used properly so that it will give me rest from routine life and
will help me in removing mental stress.
I will make time for my family so that I can enjoy with them and my life will be
balanced.
I will try to avoid stress and will make efforts to manage my work without taking any
stress.
Healthy lifestyle would be made by my be . . proper eating proper sleeping and
exercise should be done by me .

3 Methods to take feedback about work form associates
Feedbacks are necessary for everyone because from this one can make improvements in
his/her weak performing areas (Peach, Ruinard and Webb, 2014). There are various methods to
take feedbacks from associates:
Oral feedback: Oral feedback is effective method to find out the mistakes and weak areas of a
person in work. I can ask my associates to tell me about my work and weak performing areas of
me. I can l take interviews of my associates to tell me about my working methods and what
improvement they want in my working style. I will tell them to give reviews on my work so that
I would able to find out my weak points. In oral feedback, I can ask my subordinates to give
ratings on my work. I can l ask them to give reviews on my performance. I will make
questionnaire for my colleagues so that they can tell me the point where I am, lacking in my
work.
Written feedbacks: Written feedback is method in which forms are used to take feedbacks. I
can tell my employees to write reviews in form so that I can analyse these reviews. I will send
them an online survey from in which I can make sections to be evaluated. Section would be like

4 Methods to be used for developing competency in work
Weak areas Method to improve
Communication skills I have moderate communication skills so I

New compoentencies are required to maintain competitive edge in the industry we
work. I need to develop new skill in order to deal with increasing competition in industry. I will
join some seminar in which I would learn to enhance my skills. I will get opportunities in
seminar to learn from lecturers. Lecturers will give me assistance to enhance my skills. Joining
training programs to know about various new skills will support me to deal with competition in

market. I will watch videos on You tube to enhance my skills. Videos will give me practical
examples to gain new competencies . I will start reading books on developing new skills. I can
ask my seniors to give me guidance to improve my ability. Reading newspapers and articles will
help me to survive in increasing competition in industry. Schedule would be set by me to learn
new skills. . Time bound will make me disciplined to achieve my target. Monitoring would also
be required for me to find out my weak areas. I would take reviews to monitor my progress.

7 b )Areas for improvement and training
Time management skills can be improved by providing training to the employees and
outline of the training is as follows:
Training will be given on how to prepare a to do list. Dierctory should include important
task and activities which needs to be completed in set deadline. Time limit should be
attainable.
Training will be given on delegating responsibilities. Employee will be given guidance
on how to delegate tasks. It will also involve instruction about how to do work without
taking stress.
It will also include habit of making deadline to complete the work efficiently. . Setting
limit i will help individual to get stick to achieve goals.
Training will be provided on avoiding stress while doing job. One should not take work
which is he/she can accomplish in set deadline.
Employee will be provided training on stopping multitasking. Focusing on one thing at
time is a best way to achieve your target.
Meetings will be conducted with the employees and they will be told about negative
outcomes which are associated with late comings. They will also get guidance on doing
work with efficiency.
7 c) Four training style and proposal for each training
There are four types of learnings styles which are mentioned below:
Visual learners: These learners learn by watching things. In the training session of visual
learners will be provided with charts, videos and various tools available for learning by watching
things. Handout and colourful diagrams can be used by trainer to provide training on visual
learning.
Aural learners: This type of learners learns by hearing information given to them (Payne and
et.al , 2015). Aural trainees are good learners and remember everything. Training proposal for
these pupil will include lectures, record listening and loud reading.

Reading and writing learners: These learners acquire using displayed information. They use to
take knowledge from reading and writing things. Training proposal for these would involve text
based information, reading textbooks, presentation and hand notes from teacher.

recommended that employees should manage their work according to their capacity. Individual
can achieve healthy work life by setting objectives. They should balance their personal and
professional life. Employee needs to take some holidays to burnout the stress they get form their
work. It is required that one should have positive attitude towards all the subordinates.
Employee should possess time management skills to maintain healthy work life. Individual
should make accounts on social sites to have large networks.
