Pharmacy can be defined as the practice which consists of preparing and dispensing of the
medical drugs. They make sure that drugs are being used safely and effectively. Probiotic drugs
are basically used to treat vaginal yeast infection, diarrhoea, improper bowel movement. These
drugs consist of different type of micro-organism such as yeast. Present report will lay emphasis
on patient who has been suffering from ear infection Report will explain the Discuss the pros and

dose, strength and duration that are available in local pharmacies and may be beneficial for the
child in the case.

It has been analysed from the case study that a 5 year old patient is been suffering from ear

supplement. The tablets, powder and capsules provided of this drug is beneficial and contain
bacteria which are been found in food such as yoghurt and other fermented products. So it can
improve the health outcome and quality of life of people. It contains yeast which is being found
in the fermented food product (Mao and et.al., 2018).
It has been analysed that probiotic can assist the individual in improvising their immune
system. It has strengthened the immune system of people who have weak physical and emotional
abilities. Obese people can also lose weight by taking this drug. This can lay positive impact on
the health outcome of obese and overweight service users. Evidence has also provided with the
details that consuming probiotic drugs even protect against periodontal disease. It can support
health care professionals in improvising the health outcome of patients. It can also enhance their

child. It is very essential that Priobitic drugs are been given to the child after consulting with
