INTRODUCTION
The ability to solve the problem is one of the crucial factors to manage daily operations
and decision making is said to be the part of problem solving process (Chanana, 2021). Any
business can have various issues which will be solved by giving proper time and effort. This
report will be based on the role play as the main issue is of job dissatisfaction faced by UK
employees. Its main aim is to give a detailed description of the complex problem along with its
scope and impact. The report will outline the plan in order to reduce the adverse impact of the
problem on the employees (Li and et.al., 2021). Along with it, the plan will be communicated to
all the stakeholders of the company as stakeholders provide support to the company such as
employees, shareholders, and investors of the company. Furthermore, job dissatisfaction
takes place when the expectations of the workers for their work are not met.
This leaves them with a destructive observation and a lack of inspiration and
commitment to their work and the business. This also affects the
performance of the business and ultimately, its revenue and profit margins.
Dissatisfaction can arise from numerous factors, including an adverse work
situation, poor supervision, absence of acknowledgment, and low pay.

As per the given case study, the employees are facing serious issues as they are to work
more for the same pay and the load of the work has increased. Many employees lost their job due
to the pandemic because they refused to get vaccinated and many left due to workload. In
relation to the case study, employees face a sense of dissatisfaction due to being underpaid and
poor management of work employees (Hanaysha and Majid, 2018).

The complex problem in the workplace is that they are working more for less pay which created
a level of dissatisfaction among the employees. Along with it, it became difficult for the
employees to maintain the balance between work and life which will directly affect the level of
productivity the employees (Reizer, Brender-Ilan, and Sheaffer, 2019). Too much workload put
direct pressure on the employees which tends to frustrate the employees. Due to this, the
employees are not able to prioritize their health, and their overall that is emotional and mental

both got impacted. Also, the employees are not able to take time for themselves and their loved
ones due to workload.
Scope of the complex issue
When the employees feel unsatisfied they leave the job for a better future and opportunities in
life. Also, when the employees are not happy with the working conditions then they negatively
affect the company in terms of operations. Therefore, the management must consider the various
issues faced by the employees for the purpose of providing the right solution for the employees.
When employees are not satisfied then they find new job and opportunities elsewhere and those
who continue the job will remain not satisfied with the job (McAdams and Gallant, 2021).
Furthermore, they feel a lack of interest while performing their tasks which can become worse
over time and can impact the overall work performance.
Impact of the issue
When the employees are overworked this will lead to stress in the workplace and their level of
focus will also be reduced in performing the daily operations of the company.
Employees will not be able to contribute more to the company which leads to poor work
performance and they will not carry the set of responsibilities towards work. That is why
frequent absences show that the employees are unengaged and uncommitted to their work (Rao,
Narayana, and Niranjan, 2021).
Another impact of the above-mentioned issue is reduced work performance, it can be
seen that employees commit more mistakes when they are stressed and tired. Also, when
the employees are not fully investing their knowledge and abilities into their place, this is
a symbol they are not happy with their job. Individuals who are satisfied with their jobs
generally have more enthusiasm to go ahead in their roles.
When the employees spend too much time while working, this can easily create an
adverse impact on the health of the employees such as they are too busy to not able to
eat on time, and lack of sleep.
They may develop bad body posture, the habit of unhealthy snacking, and also lack of
exercise. Due to overworking, employees are not able to present optimum work
performance at the work and the company will lack happier and healthier employees.

All such issues lead to the sedentary lifestyle of the employees and as per Robyn

to be vaccinated which is why many employees left their job and found a job elsewhere outside
the care sector (Covid jab could be required for England care home staff). On the other hand, the
ultimate goal of the government is to provide protection against the Covid-19 to all the people.
As per the Department of Health and Social Care, there are nearly half of all care homes with
older adult residents were the main reason for making it mandatory by the government.
Develop a plan for implementing the solution
Plan for employees
Overview of the issue
The issue is related to the employees who are affected to several issues for example they are to
work more in the same pay and the load of the work has increased. Many employees lost their
job due to the pandemic.
Way to resolve the issue
Rise of salary- This will be done by the company by offering a fair amount as per the
work done by the employees. The company will raise pay by +£1/hour on weekends to
stimulate employees to pick up shifts. The company will provide higher salaries and
compensation to the employees
Employee Referral Scheme- In the scheme, the employees will be provided incentives
and recognition for the work done by them. In addition to this, care workers will be
rewarded for the introduction of new employees.
New recruitment- The HR team will be working on recruiting new employees by
evaluating the positions that are required to be filled. Proper planning of shifts- In relation to the given case, the company has fewer

employees due to its shortage the employees have to face work pressure, overtime, and
uneven shifts. The company will provide the flexible planning of shift.
Communicate the plan to stakeholders
It is also crucial for the stakeholders in order to have the information about the plan made
(Werneburg and et.al., 2018). The initial step is to find out the stakeholders of the company
which are explained below-
Internal stakeholders: It comprises of the people who are involved into managing and executing
the company such as employees, owners and management (Livne and Goussinsky, 2018).
External stakeholders: It comprises of the people who are not are involved in managing and
executing the company for example customers, clients, and the regulatory bodies.
After that, the objectives will be formulated so that the stakeholders will get a clear
knowledge of the plan which will be implemented in the future. Such objectives will explain the
tasks which the company needs to accomplish with the help of this plan. After that, the method
of communication that will be chosen in the given case study for external purposes is the email
method of communication. And for internal stakeholders, meetings can be conducted allowing
team members to connect with each other by sharing updates and generally collaborate for the
good of the company (Sun and Bunchapattanasakda, 2019).
Assess appropriate monitoring and review techniques to ensure successful implementation
of the solution
The term monitoring is defined as a tool to make sure that the plan is made working properly or
not in various situations and it is responsible for tracking the actual performance of the company
(Persson and et.al.,2018). The managers of the firm follow the below techniques of monitoring
through which better considerations for productive business working can be established;
Identify clear vision: In order to implement the communication plan, the vision must be
clear and the management must make sure that its people perform as expected.
Suitability of actions as per plans: Actions in the plan are said to be the checklist for the
steps taken with the goal of achieving the targets.

Identifying gaps: For the successful implementation of the plan, it is a must to understand
the gaps which are creating hurdles to the success of the company.
Solutions: Then the further solutions will be provided on the basis of the above step that
is gaps and such solutions will help in keeping the employees engaged in the company.
Action plan: Under this, a detailed plan will be made on the basis of the above points
that will highlight the various actions that will be used to identify specific tasks for the
purpose of highlighting the desired goals.
CONCLUSION
From the above case study, it can be said that various issues affect the level of
productivity in a negative manner and the work-related issues also affect the employee’s
performance. That is why the management should consider such issues to improve and maintain
continuity of the performance. With the help of the above-mentioned report, the causes of
employee job dissatisfaction were outlined such as work-life balance, no vacation time, bad
management, the culture of the company, no opportunities for growth, and many others. It can be
seen that when employees are not happy with their jobs they feel less interested in the job and
job dissatisfaction has a adverse influence on the organization’s
presentation.
