This paper is prepared to show my experience regarding the learning activity and
assessment task of this course. This paper also express how this learning activities and
assignment task helps me to develop my problem solving and teamwork skills. This problem
solving and teamwork skills are the very important skill for me as I am a graduate in
accounting also demanded by the most of the employers. Hence, the contribution of the
learning activity and the assessment task in my skill development boost my career in the
accounting field.
The learning activity and the assignment task of all the five weeks helped me to
develop my skills related to the accounting practises. These skills are highly required in the
accounting practises and asked by the employer mostly. The assessment task and the learning
activities specially developed my problem solving skill and the teamwork skills. The
assessment and task of the different week developed my different skills in relation to the
problem solving and the teamwork. The assessment and task of the 1st week that was based
on the introduction of the accounting and the governance helped to understand my role in the
accounting team, the skill of analysing and understanding along with the researching skill.
The 2nd week assignment was based on the internal control and cash management, which
helped me to develop the risk management skill. From this, I have learned the analysis of the
internal control as well as the cash control of the firm to identify the risk associated with
them. Form this I also understand the applications of the various principles to reduce the level
of risk. The third week assessment and the task was about the accounting for receivables.
This developed my identification skill as well the analysing skill. This taught me the
analysing procedure and the evaluating procedure too. In this, I have learned how to analyse,
understand the operation and the evaluation of the performance of any firm. Lastly, the fourth
and fifth week of the assignment was based on the accounting for inventory along with the
