ESSAY
Overpopulation is very harmful for the existing world. Day by day human population is
continuously increasing in all around the world. In this situation, this factor is not favourable to
the earth. But humans are not understanding this common thing (Schneider and Adalı, 2016).
According to different population control specialist and experts, if human population will
continually increase as present time, then upcoming generations will need to put their huge
efforts for surviving on this earth. Basically, overpopulation is badly affecting our environment
or eco system. There are only limited resources available to humans which contributes in easily
surviving. In this situation, if population not come under control, then existing people can’t
survive on this earth. According to space researchers, every planet has its capacity to deal with
various effects, in which overpopulation factor is giving very tough challenge to earth’s capacity.
There are natural environment provides different resources to humans which are
necessary to all for surviving on the earth, like; water, oxygen, fruits, food, petrol, gases etc. But
day by day number of resources are decreasing due overpopulation. Of course, many
governments, NGOs etc. has taken various steps towards controlling the issue of overpopulation,
but these steps are not much effective, because these steps of governments and NGO are not
providing effective results in controlling overpopulation factor. Currently China has the largest
population in all around the world. There are governments within many countries has been
succeeded also in controlling overpopulation (Obaisi, 2017). Literacy is one of the best ways to
control to issue overpopulation. Currently government of each country is responsible to aware
their respective people about bad impact of overpopulation. This step may motivate or encourage
people to stop increasing population. This is very necessary because population is very
negatively affecting earth. Overpopulation is very fast decreasing precious natural resources of
the world, in which currently many resources are come at their ending stage.
Currently climate change, global warming, environmental pollution, sixth mass extinction
etc. are some major problems of currently world which are completely created because of
overpopulation. For example; many industries or manufacturing plants increases global warming,
because they day or developing different products and services for fulfilling demand of people in
the market. So, at the end, population is the main reason behind all environmental issues. Day by

day increasing population is making unbalanced to the earth, that’s why people should
understand this is thing that, if we will not control population, then one day this earth can’t be
liveable place (Nickell, 2018). People within all around the should follow the guidelines of their
resistive governments which has passed just because of controlling continuously increasing
population. Due to overpopulation, demand of resources is day by day increasing, but we all
know that there are only limited resources. This is the main reason that, existing human
civilisation need to take an appropriate decision for fully controlled the population and increase it
in a favourable manner, otherwise upcoming generation can’t live in this beautiful earth.
