INTRODUCTION
Sum total of all those factors which influence the business operations is known as business
environment. Every organisation make and develop various strategies in order to face upcoming
challenges. Documents can be explained as reply to the request of documents. This report is
based on the production of documents in a business environment. It include various types of
documents and after that their various formats and comparison between them.

There are various types of documents which comes under a business environment (Levitt,
M.F.B., 2017). Every document have their own use full stop below mentioned are the various
examples of different type of documents that may be produced from the business environment:
 Letters
It is a type of similar from a business forms to any client aur any other contact. Business letters
have a standard structure. While writing any formal letter it is necessary to cover business
heading date salutation signature of sender address of the receipt.
 Emails
For the purpose of formal communication business use emails widely as conversation through
email is a process of binding two or more parties legally (Madni, 2018). While writing any email
it is necessary to always and an email with a signature.
 Spreadsheet
For the purpose of showing large amount of data it is used. Basically it is used for storing,
verifying, calculating, filtering, store sorting, displaying, creating, graphics charts and many
more.
 Report
It is a document which explains any project in written. It implies various facts conveys
information to the public. While taking a decision managers take the help of internal report.
 Presentation
Through this document information is presented through various slides. It shows ideas comment
solution to various problems in various slides (Cachanosky and et. al., 2017).
Letter is a offline document also it contain the address of recipient while email require only mail
id. On the other hand, report can be send to anyone through email while presentation is possible
only because of software.

Typefaces, effects, font size, headings, colors and many more are the different formats in
which text may be presented. Text can also be written in the format of tables columns and
paragraphs.
 Text file (.txt)
These are created by text editors and it contain basic characteristics in the ASCII format
(Adaman and et. al., 2017).
 Rich Text file (.rtf)
These are created by word processor and it contain amount of character formatting for example
colours and fonts.
 HTML
These are also text file but it contains the programming code for the pages of websites. While
saving these files extensions should be use.
 PDF
This file is in the Portable Document Format by Adobe which is said to be most common format
of file used on the web. It’s main feature is to upholds the original intended layout of file.
Most appropriate format is PDF as it is said as a superior from DOC and DOCX. It is
most useful when any user wants a more diverse selection of visual representation within a
document because it is more browser and various programs are eligible for opening PDF file.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it is concluded that documents of business environment plays an
important role in every organisation. Leaflets invoices posters letters spreadsheets are the various
documents which are explained in this report. It is also showing where is format of texts.
