Product life cycle- product life cycle is all about the time period in which a product is
developed and takes a place in market, and because of the same reason it removed from the market
product life cycle is based on four stages(Bayus and Rajagopalan, 2017).
Introduction of the product.
Growth of the product.
Maturity of the product.
And declined
Introduction of the product- first a product development idea is implemented in the
introduction phase and this idea comes in research and development. If an idea seems feasible and
profitable the product produced. This stage of the cycle can be the most expensive for the company
to launch a new product (Chang and Taylor, 2016). If market size is not big than sales can be low. In
other side cost of the process like development of product, research process.
Growth stage- it is a stage where a product started grow in sales and profit. And company
starts to get benefit from the production. In this stage company started increase the production if the
feedback of the customers is positive. This is the stage where investors invested their money behind
the production and promotional activities. It is a stage where Marks and Spencer company will
innovate new designing on the t-shirts. This designing will be based on the 3d print.
Maturity stage- it is a stage where a product is well established in the market. And the aim
of investors is cover and maintain its market shares. That is the reason why this stage is so difficult
to survive for products because it is most competitive time for the products and for the business as
well. It is a stage where retailer will sale the 3d t-shirt of marks and Spencer company.
Decline stage- it a stage where product started rejected because customer who will buy the
product have already purchased. And customers started switching nth product because of the new
type of product has taken over. So this is the stage where a product started decline.
To maintain the market value of product innovation of new products is required. Adaption of
the consumer plays an important role in market scenario. Renovation of products keeps successful
in the market, It is due to the user's demand. Users changes their thinking dynamically. Other side
there are many competitors always ready to launch their products and replace the existed product
(Gutierrez-Gutierrez, Barrales-Molina and Kaynak, 2018). So innovations, adaption, and renovation
are needed for the individual product to maintain its market. Product life cycle process is an
important part of product lets take an example to understand this life cycle process.
The key to successful production of M & S is not just understanding the process of life cycle

The key to successful production of M & S is not just understanding the process of life cycle

but also protect the product from its falling down situation. Through applying resources.
