conducts research to analyse the rout cause of the problem then it has to gather information about
the subject matter. In the absence of adequate detail individual will not be able to complete the
study in effective manner (Thomson and Emery, 2014). Secondary data collection sources are
those tool that give such detail which are already available and used in earlier studies by other

scholar can accessed to the right information easily without any trouble (Ghartey, 2014).
Longitudinal analyses is another advantage of secondary data collection sources, it helps in
analysing and determining trends easily.
Disadvantage
There are some demerits of the secondary data collection sources, these are explained as

indicate any specific topic. In such condition researcher may fail to collect quality information
about the topic . Complicated data: It might be possible that available information are difficult to
understand by the scholar, in such condition individual may get failed to develop understanding
about the subject and will fail to meet the objective.
PRIMARY DATA COLLECTION METHODS
Primary data collection is another type of source in which scholar collects information by
own. These are fresh details and never used earlier. Primary data can be collected by using
questionnaire, interview, observation techniques (Primary Research Advantages And
Disadvantages, 2017). All these are effective tools and support in gathering realistic detail about

money for asking detail about the company and issues (Johnston, 2017).
