INTRODUCTION
The development of professional and academic skill within an individual is very
important. With the help of these skills a person can achieve a successful position in his or her
life. The communication, team working, decision making, problem solving and many skills has
been comprises in both academic and professional skill (Artyukhina, and et.al., 2018). The
following report is going to cover personal development portfolio which give information about
the importance of the professional as well as academic skill in making a good career in business
and management. In this report discussion has been done on the skills which have already been
posses by an individual and the skills which need to be developed during the lectures in the
university.

 Communication skill :- communication skill is being considered as the most important
skill which help in achieving a successful position in life. When I am studying in the
university this skill help me the most. The group activity which have been assigned to
me and my group members, this skill which help me in a very effective manner. With the
help of this skill I am able to convey my ideas and thoughts to my team members in a
very effective manner. In addition to this this skill also help me in my professional career.
As the communication skill has been divided into oral and written these both skill help
me to grab a great job.
Skills will develop in future
Skills are the important abilities that provide a person with a expertise view for doing a
certain type of activity different from other people that do not have the related skill. There are
many different types of skills that help in the day to day life and professional career and provide
an advantage form other people (Howard, and Eddy‐Imishue, 2020). Some types of skills that I
want to develop in myself for dealing with general issues in my professional career are
concluded in the following points :
 Decision - making – This is the skill that helps in making of clear decisions in less time.
From my childhood I am a very confused person who thinks a lot before making any big
decision. This sometimes even takes away all the available best options from me and I

have to deal with the regular and unattractive activities. Developing this skill can help me
in managing my time efficiently and getting with decisions that prove to be best for
myself and my growth.
 Leadership – This is the skill of leading a group of people and holding them together. I
am very fond of making people to listen to me. Developing this skill can help me in
effectively making a group of people to follow my instructions. Through I can also hold
the people at lower authority than me in my future organisation together and this can help
in building their productivity (Julian, and Ruiz, 2020).
As per to me the abilities that plays an important factor for the person is communication
skills. As the skills enables the person to transfer their orientated thoughts, emotions, facts and as
well as feeling to another person and makes sure that the transformation of the data that have
been efficiently completed in order to maintain it. As on the other hand, it can be termed that the
receivers. It has been identified that such abilities plays vital role for the growth of the person as
that are determined it as an effective section of skills within a person. As there are several sort of
the attitude and capabilities that are efficiently motivate the person to satisfy their targets and as
well as objectives. The differentiation will be made in the stand point of several person in order
to signify several skills throughout their life. Hence, as per to me abilities that are essential for
every individual in their life as with the adaption of such abilities in an effective way that can be
capable to perform their task in extra ordinary manner in respect to achieve the aims with an
effective section. Individuals will commit to maintain their act as one of an essential factor as
with their representative that have several options to play out the given actions in convincing
their manner (Knight, and Newby, 2019). As if they transfer their social control in justifiable
and suitable way with the manner of achieving their targets that can be ensured in a well defined
way.
On the other hand, skills will supports the person and representative to efficiently offers
clear heading to workers as with successful accommodation of the targets in the business. In
relation to it, they have been identified that by having effective targets will enables them to
satisfy their task in suitable way. By communicating an effective needs of the task that will
presented the manner to gain high term of productive results. Hence, as according to the above
mentioned and discussed approaches it will be concluded that the skills and the abilities will
have an effective targets that can maintain the person's life in an effective and efficient manner.

Skills allows the person to manage other individuals towards the achievement and completion of
the work in an effective way. By the support of it, they will be linked to the effective results and
their own experiences with the manner of communicating abilities that plays vital role in
personal and as well as professional life (Luzik, and et.al., 2021). While I am working at primary
stage of assignment I have lack of skills that restrict me to not efficiently present my point of
view and orientated thoughts. It hold fundamental skills that maintain the field of study as it
involves several criteria that have an effective group presentation that are important in the field
of the area.
