How the role of a people professional is changing?
It has been seen and observed that the role of people professional is changing as now the
people professional are moving from administration to making smart strategy for better
management of people through focusing on creation of positive work environment and wellbeing
of staff. Farther, role of the people profession is also emphasising more on wellbeing, respect and
value of people along with making sue of efficient technology to ensures improved workplace
environment and better management (Erdman and Black, 2021). Along with this, various
specialised job titles are also introduced to ensure happiness and improved well-being of people.
What impact are these changes having on our CPD?
The changes made is having a positive impact on my CPD as I had developed improved
technical skills to support effective tech savvy for people. Along with this, I had also made
effective efforts to develop better communication and conflict solving skill to ensure a positive
and wellbeing work environment. Along with this, emphasis on developing proper leadership
skill has been also made to ensures specialisation in motivating and influencing employees along
with leading a valued and ethical based working environment for people.
What are the key characteristics of a good-practice CPD?
The key characteristics of a good-practice CPD comprises of involving observation and
feedback in systematic and informative manner to focus in the better development. Having a
documented process and self-directed are also the key characteristics of a good-practice CPD
that support and drive better learning based on experience and reflective practises. Further,
including both formal and informal learning is also a key characteristics of a good-practice CPD
(Asnakew and Amogne, 2021).

1.4 Reflect on taken responsibility
I had taken responsibility to present a group presentations and project on a selected topic
and during this project I am having the responsibility of team building and effective data
collection. I had faced many difficult and issues in proper delegation of role and responsibility
among the group members along with setting effective communication and coordination among
team members. Apart from this, lack of information about collection of data based on
management topic has been also faced. But still, I focused on maintaining a positive and ethic
atmosphere among all the team members where view point and opinion of all was effectively
discussed and valued. A scene of engagement, value and respect are the core aspect of my group
and we worked in efficient and ethical manner to meet the set goal and provided responsibility.
2.4 Reflect on approach to working inclusively and building positive working relationships
with others
Open communication and participative leadership style are the two core approach that has
been adopted and implicate by me to ensure a positive and inclusively working relationship. It
has been seen that having open communication and regular feedback create a sense of value and
respect on team members and colleagues as they have a platform where there issues and problem
are being discussed and solved. Further, participative leadership style also ensures proper
involvement of all employees and group members to have positive and inclusively working
based on view point and creativity of all.

On the basis of current project, a summarisation can be made that the professional behaviour
is important to successful and effectively conduct the organisational activity. Further, it has been
observed that the professional requirement is vital to support certain level of skill, education and
training in employees. Along with this importance of having ethical values comprises of
accountability, avoiding harm, care, benevolence, confidentiality, collaboration, honesty,
inclusion, long term thinking, mutual benefits etc. has been also summarised. Beside this, it has
been also concluded that effective communication and participative leadership ensure more
positive workplace relationship and engagement based on ethical values. Along with this, it has
been also observed that the people professional are also changing and leading influence of CPD.
