Introduction
 In order to successfully achieve a goal or target it is necessary for individuals to first
conduct a self assessment. Self-assessment includes listing down all the strengths and
weaknesses of individuals which will help them to develop various skills in order to
achieve their goals. The following presentation includes assessment of various strengths
required to successfully set up a career as investment banker. It also discusses about
strengths which are unrealised and various trends which are required to be developed in
order to achieve future ambitions and goals. With the help of strength questionnaire self
assessment is made easy and also assist individual to take decisions about future.

Reflection on completing assessment
In order to understand various skills which are required to successfully complete the course of
financial analytics I undertook a strength questionnaire. The strength questionnaire revealed
various strengths which are helping me to successfully pursue my career and academic
needs. In order to successfully complete a degree it is required by every individual to manage
their time well. There are a number of task which are going on simultaneously. It is required
by individuals to make sure that they are managing all these tasks and activities in time to
meet the deadlines. I made sure that I am prioritising task before starting them so that all the
small task and activities in a project are completed and importance to task is given as per their
priority.

Leadership skills enable an individual to make sure that they are influencing others in a

 Presentation skills are very important for a finance major. All the work which is done in
financial field is required to be shown as data presentations. Data presentations make it
easy for individuals to understand the information we are actually trying to communicate.
When an information is presented in form of data re-presentation it also makes it
interesting and easy for listener and audience to understand the information. I am
continuously working on my presentation skills in order to successfully set up my career
as an investment banker in finance field

Reflection on unrealized skills
The strength questionnaire also allowed me to understand various unrealised strength and ways to
develop those and realise strength in order to achieve my future ambitions. Below mentioned are
various unrealised strengths discovered:
Persuasiveness is an important strength when working in finance field. It is necessary for an
individual to be persuasive enough in order to make sure that their clients are following them. In
finance field the clients are trusting the professionals with their savings so that they can increase it.
While taking strength questionnaire I realised that I have persuasive skills but still need to develop it
further to professionally use it in my career.

Listening skill is an important skill which is unrealised I need to be worked upon. The strength
questionnaire helped me in understanding the importance of listening skill and also the need for
development of the skill. While working as an professional and providing aid to your clients it is
important for an individual to understand the actual problem and requirement of clients. If an individual
does not possess listening skills they cannot understand what is the actual requirement of their clients
and even after providing the services clients will not be satisfied.
These are some of the unrealised skills which are necessary for the career I want to pursue in
future. I have also enabled myself to make sure that I am successfully working on the skills and
developing various factors which will help me to incorporate the skills in my skill set.

professional career. There are a number of skills which an individual needs to work upon in
order to successfully achieve their future ambition. Some of these skills are already present in
an individual while others are unrealised. It is necessary for individual to work upon their
unrealised skills and also develop it through their experience which will help them to
successfully achieve their aims and ambitions.
