INTRODUCTION
Understanding self is related with those process where measures are adopted in order to
understand what persons want to achieve in their life. Individuals should analyse those factors
which act as their strong points and they can easily achieve growth and success in their ventures.
This is an important factor for firm as it results in finding the right carriers and pathways on
which person can easily move forward. There are different tools which can be used by a person
in order to analyse their strong factors so they can easily achieve growth and success in their life.
In the undermentioned report various skill and capabilities of employees are identified which are
useful in order to make person grow in their ventures and also personal development plans are
formulated.
TASK
Core skills : Communication Skills are important as it helps me easily communicate with
employees at work place.
Importance of skill: Communication is the person by which persons share their own knowledge
with others, their ideas can be shared effectively and employees can work according to the plans
which have been communicated to them at work places. I have developed effectual
communication skills which have helped me to share my ideas with other persons, I can easily
express my thoughts and values with other persons. Communication is an important factor in
both professional and personal life as it help person to walk on the right paths. There are
basically two form of communication that is oral and written communication by which people
can easily share their thoughts with one another. Oral communication is face to face
communication where people talk to one another, there can be use of sign languages and actions
in order to convey the message to other person and written communication can be in the form of
messages, chats, letters etc. where people express their feeling with the help of written materials.
As there is advancement in technologies and there are various methods developed by which
people can easily communicate with one another and I am using these tools in order to pass
message to other persons so they can work according to those plans. The main concept of
communication is related with sharing of knowledge and ideas with other persons and there are
various theories executed by which persons can easily communicate with other person in both
their personal and professional life.

My own competence: As I am skills and capabilities by which I can easily communicate with
one another and this is major strength which helps me to achieve success in my operations. In
order to know my own communication efficiency I have taken feedback from my friends and
other subordinates and I have analysed that I am able to easily convey the message with my
subordinates and friends and this is reflected as they easily understand what I want to tell them
thus they achieve success in their ventures. I am having good handwriting so persons does not
face any problem in reading what message I want to convey to them. I am not using very
difficult words in my message so that people can easily understand what I want to convey to
them and they can work on the right paths thus gaining success in their ventures by walking in
right directions.
Weakness identify: My major weakness as I have analysed while feedback was given by
subordinates and peer members that I loose my level of confidence while I am communicating
message to other persons and employees at work place and I should mainly focus on this factor
and develop plans in order to make changes so that I can easily convey message with full
confidence to all my partners in both personal and professional life.
Future Analysis: My own effective communication skills will help me to achieve growth and
success in my ventures in future time. I am am places as a Manager in any multinational firms
then I can easily communicate plans with my subordinates and they will work on these plans in
order to achieve growth and success in their overall business operations. Communications skills
are important factor by which persons can achieve success in their task as they are always
moving forward on the right path.
Core skill: Leadership Skills are vital in order to guide person to walk on the right paths.
Importance of skill: In this present world leadership are most important skills which help
person to give direction to all their subordinates so they can walk on the right paths. Leaders are
described as the person who are having large number of followers who are following those
pathways which are guided by the leaders. Leaders act as motivators for all the employees at
work place as they are guiding them to walk on the right paths thus achieve success in their
working. Leaders plays an effective role in order to achieve all business goals and objectives as
they are having skills by which they are guiding employees in order to walk on the right

pathways. Different leadership theories are used by persons such as trait, behavioural and
contingency theory. The trait theory states that skills and capabilities make a person good leader
, behavioural theory helps in identifying behaviours of individuals and accordingly leaders are
guiding them so they will achieve success in their ventures. I am having good leadership skills
which helps me to achieve success in my ventures.
My own competence: I am having good leading skills and this is analysed with the help of
feedbacks which were given by the subordinates and other peer members. I analysed that all the
members are walking on those direction which are provided this thus it can be analysed that I
am having the capabilities to become a good leader. If any employees is facing any type of issue
at work place then it am guiding him to walk on the right paths so they will attain success in
achieving their set targets.
Weakness identify: I am having some weak points on which I had to focus so that these
problems can be easily resolved and I can easily satisfy all the employees and they will walk on
the right path. I am having the major weak point that I am not able to listen to the views of every
person thus their problems are not resolved. I should develop plans in order to listen to every
members views at work place so there can be solutions implemented which are beneficial for
every employees at work places.
Future Analysis: My effective leadership skills are beneficial for them in future times in order
to handle group of employees at work place and guide them to move on the right paths so they
achieve their targets in right time that have been formulated for them. I can see myself placed at
top positions as I can easily handle large group of employees. My current knowledge can
maximised as I am having the capabilities in order to handle employees at work place and solve
all the issues which are faced by them. Employees are following different cultures and beliefs
thus I will have the capabilities in order to handle them and solve all their issues.
Core skill: Effective time management skills are beneficial in order to achieve targets in
allotted time frames.
Importance of skill: Time management skills are very important in order to make employees
achieve all their assigned targets in desired time frames that have been allotted to them. I am
having effective time managing skills as I mainly focusing on developing plans according to

desired time durations in which results have to be achieved. This skill is very important as it
helps me to save cost and time that would have wasted if the projects are not completed in right
times that have been allotted to them. I achieve all my objectives in desired time frames that
have been allotted to me and this is beneficial in order to make effective decisions which helps
in to achieve success in my assigned business task. According to modern era it is an important
factor to complete all the operations in assigned time that have been allotted and it results in
achieving competitive as all business objectives are achieved in right times.
My own competence: My strengths are analysed by me according to the feedbacks which I
have received from my friends and peer members. I am using all the resources which are
available in economy in effectual ways in order to achieve success in my ventures. As all the
operations are performed in right time thus I can make plans for future in order to make
employees achieve success in their operations.
Weakness identify: The major weakness which is identified by me according to the feedback
is that I am completing my activities in the desired time that have been allotted to me but I am
not able to manage the task which are most important on first priority. I should make plans in
order ton complete all the activities which are important giving them the first priority and after
that the focus should be on those task which are not very much important but these had to be
performed effectively.
Future Analysis: Time managing skills are very important for the future times as it helps me to
develop plans according to which each business activities had to be completed in desired time
that have been allotted to them. If all the targets are achieved in right time then it results in
saving both time and money and business will achieve growth and success in their overall
operations.
Core skill: Interpersonal skill are important in order to make effective communication among
large group of customers
Importance of skill: I am having interpersonal skills which helps me to convey message to
large group of customers among the group and this is an important skill by which employees
can easily understand what plans they had to follow in order to achieve their targets. Different
types of interpersonal skills which are seen among individuals is collaboration where people are

cooperating with one another in order to achieve all their goals and objectives in right time that
have been allotted to them. Interpersonal skills helps person in order to make effective
communications with other persons at work place and this is an important factor which helps
them to make effective communication at work places.
My own competence: According to the feedback which are given by peer members and
subordinates it was evaluated that I am having effective interpersonal skills by which I can
easily communicate with all the members and guide them to follow the right pathways so they
can easily achieve all their assigned targets in desired time that have been allotted to them. If
there is free flow of communications then person can easily communicate with higher
authorities and the issues which are faced by them can be easily resolved.
Weakness identified: As there are strong points in me thus there are also weak factors and I am
not able to listen to the problems of employees at one and the same time thus there are
sometimes conflicting situations which are difficult to be resolved. There there should be focus
in order to effectively listen to what employees wants to convey to us so the best solutions can
be implemented by which goals can be effectively achieved.
Future Analysis: Interpersonal skills are valuable for future times in order to make employees

communication and leadership skills. If persons wants to achieve their set goals and objectives in
desired time then they had to focus on effective communications in order to know about the
