Understanding self is related with those process where measures are adopted in order to
understand what persons want to achieve in their life. Individuals should analyse those factors
which act as their strong points and they can easily achieve growth and success in their ventures.
This is an important factor for firm as it results in finding the right carriers and pathways on
which person can easily move forward. There are different tools which can be used by a person
in order to analyse their strong factors so they can easily achieve growth and success in their life.
In the undermentioned report various skill and capabilities of employees are identified which are
useful in order to make person grow in their ventures and also personal development plans are
formulated.
TASK
Core skills : Communication Skills are important as it helps me easily communicate with
employees at work place.
Importance of skill: Communication is the person by which persons share their own knowledge
with others, their ideas can be shared effectively and employees can work according to the plans
which have been communicated to them at work places. I have developed effectual
communication skills which have helped me to share my ideas with other persons, I can easily
express my thoughts and values with other persons. Communication is an important factor in
both professional and personal life as it help person to walk on the right paths. There are
basically two form of communication that is oral and written communication by which people
can easily share their thoughts with one another. Oral communication is face to face
communication where people talk to one another, there can be use of sign languages and actions
in order to convey the message to other person and written communication can be in the form of
messages, chats, letters etc. where people express their feeling with the help of written materials.
