INTRODUCTION
Portfolio is regraded as the summarised form of different individual experiences related
to their self development and self learnings accompanied with the regular process of self
evaluation. Academic learnings is a process that is related with learning of skills and
development of attitude towards self evaluation based on current situation learning habits and the
support network that is required in the process. It is very important to understand the process of
self development as it is related with the way organisations are willing to understand the process
of self learning that takes place (Alajmi, 2019). It is based on the presentation that is preparation
for success. There is a reflective statement to indicate the different aspects of learning, its further
improvement and application of relevant knowledge in the coming future period.
TASK 1
Reflection
The group presentation is very helpful in development a detail understanding of the
success and now it can be achieved by a student. In this course 1, I got the opportunity to work
in a team where I was working with my other teammates based on the presentation. This was a
group activity that helped in development of presentation skills in front of my class mates along
with my other team members. This also helped in presentation of my views according to the
requirements (Koraneekij and Khlaisang, , 2019). This task has given me a opportunity to build
my self confidence level as the presentation was to be done in front of whole class. So there was
a need to work on my way of speaking and presenting my views related to the topic.
According to whole analysis of the situation I was recollecting the experience along with my
tutor that helped in learning of all the aspects starting from the process of collection of
information.
In in the initial stages of the presentation I was working for collection of all information
about the topic that was decided. In this stage there was use of decision making skills as we all
as a part of team had to work towards selecting the most appropriate topic. By making a detailed
analysis of pros & cons of selecting a single topic. After that the topic was finalised that is
success and its importance for a student. We all also used the conflict management skills so that
we were able to not face the situation of internal conflicts related to the selection of topic for
group presentation. After that there was starting of the process to deliver a effective presentation

pre analysis of each group member there was assignment of the role. Personally there was
communication that was made to every team members that is about the work that has to be
performed by them in course of delivering the presentation. My role was to make each team me
members understand what basically they have to perform in the course of team performance
(Lukitasari, Handhika and Murtafiah, 2018). In this I used my interpersonal skills to
communicate with my team members and we all had a interaction until there was a clarity in
every members related to the task that they have to perform.
After there was proper & timely assignment of duties actual functioning of the It came to
my notice that till this stage we were working according to the allotted time and there was proper
utilisation of time that was taking place. Then after there was proper communication that was
taking place among all the team members related to similar task and activities so that there can
be no scope of overlapping or duplication of any activity that can take place in the entire process.
Then after there were some issues that were taking place related to personal differences that were
taking place in the course of their performing of work. So I had to use skills of conflict
management in order to solve all interpersonal conflicts that were taking place among all the
team members. There was use of collaboration & coordination as a technique to make all the
teammates to establish some proper communication channels that can help them in dealing with
all issues of improper communication. There were sometimes barriers of semantic
communication that also affected the flow of activities in a negative manner. All this have to be
solved properly in order to ensure that they are not posing any negative impact on the
productivity of activities that are being performed by all the group members.
I learnt about the importance of success for a student such as it helps in having higher job
sustainability, income confidence, protection from illegal activities and helping in being more
helpful and active. I also developed the insight of effective communication skills that is listening,
non verbal communication, controlling of emotions and helpful in proper stress management.
The most interesting aspect was the group practises that took place just before our final
presentation. I understood how to ensure effectiveness in a team by understanding the aspects of
formation of a team that is starting from forming (There is formation of team and establishment
opf ground rules in this stage), storming (All team members are willing to make
communication), norming (people are developing a insights that they are team part and are able

minds of our audiences related to my presentation. But then I made sure that I overcome this
weakness by understanding the arises that I am not good at language flow and its smoothness.
So, I started working on it by practising for at least 1 hour every day so that on the day of my
final presentation so that this weakness is not reflected.

should be a regular habit of making proper notes. This habit of writing regularly will help in
keeping a permanent record of all the aspects. It is also going to lead towards being prepared for
lectures in advance .

skills such as critical thinking, creative implementation, networking skills are very crucial for
managing the career growth (Tricio, Woolford and Escudier, 2016). Apart from this certain
person attributes include persistence, perseverance, integrity, humility, self management,
resilience and stress management in order to deal with high work pressure.

For the purpose of working on key weakness it s very necessary to focus on overall
competencies and skills so that there can be working on areas where a individual is lacking. This
is a analysis that can help in determination of core strength and weakness of a individual in order
to develop their skills and fill all knowledge gaps (Mulvogue, Ryan. and Cesare, 2019).
Individual are willing to work on a action plan that helps in understanding the weak areas and
