Reflective Essay

When an individual is taking the learning classes and lectures in order to
enhance the skills and knowledge so that they can grow in their career. It will help in
getting jog opportunities in the particular field(Aslan, 2017). There are various
challenges which are faced by the individual but they will help an individual to get over
that issues to get success in their life. This present report will explain the reflection of
the individual that how a person can developed as a learner.
When the individual wants to develop itself to get success in their life, they need
to develop some skills in the continuous manner. As a learner, I have taken classed
form the certified institution in United Kingdom for say BUKS University. When the
learner is taking classes from in a particular field then it will help in enhancing their skills
and knowledge in particular field. Here, I have completed a foundation year in creativity
and Knowledge(Hyde, Flatau and Wilson, 2018). The foremost skills that is needed in
that collage is communication skills and instructor focuses on specking, writing and
listening competences in the learner so that they will effective use their skills and
competencies in the competitive world. In context to this, when the teacher is teaching
general public and professional communication course then teacher majorly focuses on
presenting the theory (Ivleva and Melekhina, 2017). It focuses on describing the
mechanics that includes the public and official speaking processes. So by enrolling in
this study, It helps me to understand the importance of speaking course in the real life. It
tends to know how to behave, how to talk in the different situations so that it can be
handled in an appropriate manner. In order to improve the communication skills,
instructor have conducted various activities. For instance, Create a real life scenario in
which a learner will be working as employees and try to behave professionally so that
they can learn in an approximate manner.
Kolb's reflective model is based on experiential learning. It involve three stages of
which the first is concrete experience where an individual physically and consciously
experience a situation. The second stage involve reflective observation where the
person describe the experience by writing it down so that it can understand deeply what

had happened in that situation. The next stage involve abstract conceptualisation where
individual ask question to itself. It is also known as observation stage. The last stage
involve active experimentation where the individual practices newly acquired theoretical
knowledge and figure out the scope of improvement.
This kind of activities appears in the group have a effective and positive impact
on the learning of the individual. There are other skills apart from communication skills
like academic writing skills. Instructor have given me various lesson so that I can
improve my communication skills and also correct my grammatical errors and frame the
appropriate sentences(Maharaj, 2020). Moreover, teacher also deliver me some
instruction which needs to be keep in mind while writing and it includes use of capital
words, use of grammar, apostrophes and many more punctuation which makes the
complete sentence. In context to this, I have learnt the framing of sentences by
identifying the present, past and future tense so right sentence can be form that aids to
make the correct sentences in developing reading and writing skills.
To work in an organisation, An individual needs to develop and create the sharp
learning strategies so that they can perform well their operational areas. In context to
this, teacher have taught me the digital technologies in BUKS University that help me in
learning attractive power point presentation and for that I have grabbed knowledge in
order to develop my skills so that I can make my power point presentation easily. It
shows the life stages of entrepreneurs about their family background and eduction,
shortcomings, experience and more. These skills will help in my personal and
professional development so that I can use them in order to enhance my career growth.
After competing the course from the BUKS University, I have learned various
skills and knowledge that is gained from the personal and professional learning. There
are various skills that help an individual to work in the large organisation and it includes
communication skills, technical competency, flexibility, creativity, determination and
many more that comes under personal abilities(Ramsey, 2018). Further it involves,
decision-making, leadership, work under pressure, solving of various conflicts and
adaptability. Hence these abilities will help in getting the wok done in an appropriate
manner and individual will able to handle the various task at a point of time. It also help
me in developing the creative thinking skills by which I can give the better solution in

order to increase the efficiency and effectiveness in an organisation. Skills like
leadership help in meeting the various challenges in various situation. For example,
When it comes improving the performance of the company. It also help in getting the
things done in an appropriate manner.
Furthermore, Instructor have used that real life experience where a individual
have to work as the employees so that they will how to behave and talk to other with
professionalism and learn how to handle the various problem at a point of time(Zeki
and Kuter, 2018). I have also came to understand the hoe I can successful manager in
particular field by learning the various skills and competencies.
It is concluded from the above report that It is important to have the development
of various skills and knowledge so that they can grow in their career. For this, learner
have taken the various classes in order to improve their communication skills, academic
skills, writing skills and digital technology skills so that they can develop in the personal
and professional field. It helps in garbing the creative skills to take the better decisions.
