INTRODUCTION
This assessment presents a professional development plan which is focused on improving
two weaknesses i.e. linguistic barriers and communication skills. Despite of presence of listening
as the prime strength, these skills have to be essentially enhanced.

which will
help in
systematic

development.

overcome
my
weakness
of effective
communica
tion, I will
inculcate
speaking
skills and
also grab
fluency in
thought
processing.
Three
months is
the
stipulated
time period
in which I
will develop
this skill.
I will
conduct
self-
evaluation
after
completion
of the target
and analyse
whether
there is any
sort of
improvemen
t or not. If
no
improvemen
t is
witnessed
then
necessary
changes in
plan shall be
introduced.
CONCLUSION
Summing up the study, I can say that in order to develop all such skills, it is crucial for
me to consider various activities as that will also aid me to enhance my professional capability.
Furthermore, to implement the model into practice, I need to work on all the area of
improvement. Development of this plan has helped me to analyse how competent I am and how I
can develop improvements in my overall career aspects. Since, I am interested in social work;
hence I will ensure that apart from all these activities, I will focus on other areas as well. I will

make sure that after completion of the time period allocated for achieving the respective goals, I
am able to speak in atleast two different languages and cope with communication problems.
