I aim to establish myself as a CA in the UK. For this I need to learn and improvise the following
skills: for establishing as a successful CA I need to learn accounting and tax return management.
This will help me in proving effective tax-related advice to the individual business units. My
goal is to lean IT tools and other software so that link them effectively with the account
management (Kim and Schmidgall, 2017). As I aim to establish myself as a CA in the UK and
for achieving competence in this field I will pursue this course with great focus and constantly
improve my performance. I will utilize complete course tenure for this.

My goals for professional development as follows:
Learning tax management as it will help in assessing the accounts and providing tax-related
advice to the small and larger size business units. As I aim to establish myself as a CA in the UK
and for achieving competence in this field I will pursue this course with great focus and
constantly improve my performance. I will utilize complete course tenure for this.
Accounting: I will learn the management of accounts and for this, I will join some short-term
course for improving my accounting skills and I will also assess my performance constantly for
effective improvement. This will take time of 2-3 months (Kim and Schmidgall, 2017).
ICT: for improving my ICT skills by learning software MYOB and SAP and other related ICT
tools and it will take the time of 2-3 month and I will constantly appraise my performance by
taking feedback from the experts.

The skills that are needed for the effective management of the organization are the
measurement of performance of the individuals and organization. This is done by
appraising their efficiency and effectiveness. This is done with the application if balance
scorecard and related tools.
Individual conduct measurement, personality traits like openness, self-awareness of
individuals, and contentiousness are needed for assessing the performance of individuals.
For instance, agreeableness is crucial for individuals in accepting challenging situations
and coming up with solutions for them. Self-awareness is significant and it helps the
individuals in growing in their profession and improves their strengths and takes essential
steps to mitigate their weakness (Webb and Chaffer, 2016).
The personal development plan is one of the key tools for assessing the performance of
an individual is also of the group. This describes what are the skills set of the individual,
and the place where they want to reach in the future along with the time lime. The
