INTRODUCTION
A personal pitch is usually a brief introduction to a person and his background. A
personal pitch can also be which can be understood as which provide a purpose of giving a crisp
overview of the experience of a person and his skills as a candidate (Asgharnia, A. and Et.al.,
2020). When a person frameworks a pitch provides a booster to his confidence for his interviews,
regarding job fairs or networking events. For a person it is very important to have a pitch ready
during the interview session because it provides an icebreaker to start any communication or
conversation whether it is face to face or virtual. It provides a great benefit to having a pitch is
that it can take a person to the top. The report aims to effectiveness of person’s skills on work,
personal development plan and opportunities and barriers he find in his path to grow his career.

TASK 1
Skills audit analysis.
Skills audit is systematic project which is related to a person’s skill and knowledge. With
reference to this, an audit must be considered with evidence which is related to existing and
developing competencies. Furthermore, it is related to need analysis which simplifies with the
meaning to identify requirements of growth of an individual. In other words, it can be understood
as a skill audit and need analysis which have to phases that is what a person is already have and
what they desire to be. Consequently, an initial audit as well as need analysis is a reflection
theory and it should be keep up to date on a timely basis.
Mr. A is a person who is 29 years old. He is graduate and working for well-known
company in the hospitality sector and he is in the second year into recruitment program. Mr. A
joined the company and on the other side at university following graduation and transfer it to his
present department. Onwards he is completing a year now and refreshed to enter management
development program and managerial leadership (Caldwell, M. T., Jiam, N. T. and Limb, C. J.,
2017). Furthermore, he returned as junior manager to his department. Skill audit of an individual
is required to conduct a SWOT analysis because this will help to ascertain strengths, weaknesses,
opportunities and threats. With an addition to my own skills, SWOT analysis is to be performed
under below:-

My confidence is very high which will
help me to piloting several types of
activities in a very effective way (da

with anyone and able to convey

this will not only support towards motivation but also help to increase his productivity level and

life and become more successful in his professional life. It helps to get stronger and also helps

career goals are to achieve something very soon that is to finish my early manager course so that

along with this to get a support from their teammates or from the high level authority. Long term
goals is also answerable for managing and controlling large number of team and employees that
is why it takes longer time to complete in comparison with medium term goals. The goals and
objectives which are definite by an individual in order to complete in a specific duration for the
long term goals, it is very essential for an individual to recall things about their knowledge and
education or skills, about the jobs or whatever they want to become in the future. For examples:-
Burgeoning skills of managing stuffs in the organization.
To get my degree in my masters and PHD.
Build up the skills for executing and implementing stuffs.

Getting distracted: There are many distractions where I lose my focus for developing my
skills and knowledge (Koenig-Lewis, N., Asaad, Y. and Palmer, A., 2018). When I get
distracted from a lot of stuffs I lose my vision for getting my career objectives and not
even realizing that I sustained with my success. I get distracted from many things when I
need to complete my business project I got distracted sometimes from browsing internet
or playing with kids or watching TV. I didn't able to get motivated and I could always go

Fear of committing mistakes: Many successful people can commit mistakes on the early
stage of their career, even I failed number of times and commit many mistakes in the
process of my developing skills. But all I learn is that life is a process of continuous
learning so I make myself and not afraid to do mistakes because mistakes can be a
another chapter to learn something. It has been shown that I have try at least until it get
done.
