INTRODUCTION
Professional identity and practice is described as a process in which it is necessary for
individual to take appropriate action for achieving favourable outcomes. In addition to this, it has
been stated that there are large number if an individual person who perform their task and work
for boosting the standard of living at workplace. In current scenario, there are different skills
which are required for personal as well as professional reasons. This report is carried upon
Rosewood Hotel. In addition to this, there are main advantages of expectation of professional
employer, advantages of on-going professional development, significant assessment of different
skills with level of competencies. Apart from this, there are various strength as well as
weaknesses of interview. At last, it is necessary to take interview of a specific job position within
service sector has organised in right time (Bell, Nissen and Vindegg, 2017).

In present context, it is necessary for students, staffs as well as individual person to have a skill
of ongoing professional development for improving sustainability in timely manner. It is the type
of plan in which various scale with level of competencies in order to become successful within
business organisation. Moreover, in hospitality industry, the main aim is to boost the satisfaction
level of customer in order to achieve competitive benefits over rival firm at marketplace
(Ruohotie-Lyhty and Moate, 2016). And also it is executed through improving various tactics
related to ongoing professional development. By using these kind of approaches related to
development course of rosewood hotel increases profitability level in future time period. In
addition to this, it also provides advantages to both employers as well as employee of
organisation which is going to be mentioned below:

Job Satisfaction Level: Through continuous development plan, the employees feel
satisfied to work within business organisation. For instance, in context of Rosewood

It is necessary for me to have skill and competencies in order to determine personal as well
as professional development. In current scenario, it is vital to evaluate my own skill with
competencies which is going to be mentioned below:
Collaboration and Cooperation: I have a skill related to handle the team in an effective
manner. This skill helps me in deal with problems in easy way. In addition to this, I am
also capable to provide guidance to employees who perform their task as my team
member at workplace. Apart from this, if rate is given by my own, the, it is approx 7 out
of 10.
Willingness to learn and adopt: When, it is talked about willingness to learn and then I
will give myself the rating is 5 out of 10. Apart from this, it is based upon my
examination of new subject which I have learnt. In addition to this, it allows me to
execute my work and duties which is needed for the position of Event manager of
Rosewood hotel in hospitality industry (Gibson, 2016).
Positive Attitude: In current scenario, it is considered as another skill in which I will
give rating of 7 out of 10. While organize particular task and work, I am always being
confident and have a positive attitude towards work, thus I have given to myself this
rating. This is advantageous for me in boosting my career progression and development.

P4. Range of Learning Theories and Approaches
There is wide range of theories as well as approaches which is used by person in order to
increase sill and knowledge in an effective manner (Hammond Cross and Moore, 2016). Thus,
these kinds of approaches help me in which I have acquired that knowledge of weaker skills
which is going to be mentioned below:
Learning Theories: Constructivism: This approach is depending upon statement that learning is considered
as a vigorous process which is necessary for individual person to acquire on regular basis.
I can acquire the knowledge related to different apps as well as method organising
through exploration of my own experience in past time. Cognitivism: This approach is completely depending upon different internal procedure
which includes resolving problems, knowledge as well as skill of an individual person. It
helps me in taking effective decision related to my career progression and development.

by using cognitivism theory, it can assists me in to become self satisfactory as well as

Learning Approaches: VARK Style: This is considered as a theory in relation to various techniques in which
individual person divide their various styles of learning as per their preferences in order
to learn in better way. In addition to this, there are different tools such as audio, reading
as well as visual styles are adopted by me. And these skills are acquired by me in easy
manner because of using questionnaire.
Kolb’s Learning Cycle: There are various level of learning in which first and foremost
level is to meet innovative as well as appropriate experiences. The second level is related
to observation in which leader observe if there is any kind of discrepancy among their
understanding needed for next level. In addition to this, the last level is in relation to
improving concepts as well as customized idea. It has been stated that learning style helps
me in improving and gain experience of innovative things depend on my past time.

understanding level and applies VARK learning as well as constructivism theory which is
