INTRODUCTION
To make progress in the future, it is critical to work on different skills, the most significant
of which is the ability to attain targets. When an individual possesses all of the traits and talents,
he or she develops a sense of confidence and contentment, which leads to an improvement in the
productivity of employees. The topics that were discussed under this report are challenges which
I was faced at the time when I was dealing with it such challenges are debate challenge, hotel
challenge, T shirt challenge, presentation challenge. The project also covers action plan on which
I have to work to make improvement on these skills.
TASK
Debate Challenge:
In my college debate competition is organised in which I was participating. The topic of the
debate is CSR which means corporate social responsibility. In the debate few people speeches in
positive manner but some talk in oppose. But I am speaking in context to this topic in positive
aspect. At the time of preparing my script I was facing so much problem in collecting data and
updated news. To collect correct information, I studied so many magazines, daily read
newspapers, collect data from books for which daily I went to library because it is the only place
where we get knowledge regarding any topic. I face so much difficulty when I move towards
library because it is far away from my house so there is some convince issue which I was facing
most of the time during this rainy season. But after few days all the necessary data are collected
and now I was working on my communications. At the time when I was giving speech on the
topic CSR, then the opposite candidate is also very strong so its a tough competition I faced. In
the discussion I can found arguments to support my opinion. To speak in front of so many
peoples and professions is not a easy task to me. Many other challenges that I faced were explain
as follow –
 Someone interrupting again and again when I was giving speech so I was deadly afraid to
speak.
 The people present in the auditorium doesn’t shown interest in my prepared topic
 Timer duration is the biggest challenge for me because only fixed short time period is set
to express the views in front of audience.

 As also expressions are not come when I was stand in front of people to debate.
Presentation Challenge
. The company launch the Smart watch in the marketplace as it is considering essential term for
the business before launching it discussing is made regarding the product. While at the time of
making presentation many challenges are faced by me for example facing difficulty, in creating
and fixing graphs, setting alignment of the report and at the time when I give presentation in
front of people than it is very difficult to communicate for me. So I decided to work on these
weaknesses and improve my skills.
T-shirt Challenge
To introduce the t-shirt in market in which great thoughts are written in front side of T
shirt. Advertisement is tending to be needed to create awareness regarding latest product as
youngster shown interest to purchase such type of t-shirts which give some good message. By
giving discounts and offers it tends be attract large people as customers which results to increase
sales and profit. The challenge related to high cost, outdated fashion is a threat faced. so that I
might plan my approaches as in the business to overcome challenge and improve profit.
Hotel Challenge
In this we consider hotel industry where I need to make some development for business
survival. In context to this we choose the hotel Hilton as it serves services globally. The
person who visit in their hotels tends to be satisfied and happy because they serve the best.
But the challenge which management of hospitality face is tough completion in the
industry, and non availability of spices, fresh raw material as well specialized chef for
Indian food.
Action plan
To achieve my goals, I need to improve various skills of mine. Few examples are present in
the below bullet points.
 Communication skills: In terms to professional life it is very important for person to
have excellent skills of communication because in every stage an individual is need to

communicate with other. In today’s global and fast paced business environment employer
only hire those who have good way to communicate and has good drafting skills so that
message can easily convey to opposite party. Thus to improve my communication I have
to work on various skills such as on –
Writing skills- for me college is the best time where I improve my writing skills. I can
make improvement in this by writing diary entries on regular basis it helps me a lot to
improve by writing abilities and it also tends to reduce my grammatical errors.
Body language- Eye contact, facial expression as well as postures plays a significant role
when we interact with someone. Good body language give surety to right and attractive
impression. Thus to making improvement in my personality, I must work to improve my
body language.
Verbal skills- through participating in various conferences, by giving speech in seminars,
or by interacting with my colleagues or friends I can improve my such skills. This skill is
very important to get success in life because only with flowing verbal skill it become
possible to convey our view, message, thoughts, ideas thus my whole success depends to
it so I work on it by participating more and more in debates which tends to improve my
confidence level also. I also focused to fluency and it comes only when I communicate
more to people as it gives advantage to me in my career.
 Team work skills team work is considered as one of the most important skills that must
be present in the work place. As college time is the best period to improve team work
skills. Team work skills which is necessary to improve for professional as well as
academic success are
Problem solving skills – to handle challenges when i was working in a group. It is
important to me to keep calm it helps to find out some solutions of problems. So I have to
work on these skills so that I can sought out the matter in efficient manner.
Skills of Listening – These qualities allow to become a good leader or colleague. By
improving my listening skills, I can give satisfaction to my subordinates and co members as
they believe that their point of view is listen and consider if appropriate.
Leadership skills – Leaders can lead to demonstrate strong skills of team work by acting
as a mentor. I can improve my leadership skills by style about various theories related to it

and try to implement it so that it become simple for other members or subordinates to learn
which leads to improve growth.
Critical thinking- As respective skill helps me most to make better as well in decision
making activity. On the basis of past experiences, examining all the areas of an issues I can
improve these skills. To get success it is important to think smart. If I was working with team
so to take crucial decision it is necessary to think critically for effective results. Thus I must
have to work on it.
 Time management and meeting skills: For career development and growth time
management, responsibility as well as accountability are very important. To meet
deadlines, I have to improve this skill as time is a precious element so I have to complete
my task on time. By improving this skills, I can grasp the opportunities and saves lots of
time which I am spending in some other activity which is important. Through improving
this skills, I can lead towards success.
 There is need to developed business skills and competencies: Different activities are
performing in business so for effective results there is need to develop or make
improvement in various skills related to operation. Such as I have to improve my
financial management skills so that I can handle by finance accurately. As I am making
my career in the field of chartered Accountant so it is necessary for me to have good
command over facts and figures, calculations. Thus I put my full efforts to improve this
ability. Delegation is another important business skill which plays a most crucial role in
business success. I have to work on these because than only I can understand how much
authority is tending to be delegated and to whom.
CONCLUSION
After deep study and analysis, it tends to be conclude that to become successful in career it
is very important to develop skills so that it is possible to me to face challenge without facing
any difficulty. These skills develop give satisfaction and make confident.
