Introduction
Professional Practice and Development states about the implication of skills and
knowledge and transformation of learning’s to attain the better outcome (Esmond and et.al,
2017). This report focuses on the professionalism and dual professionalism which refers to the
deep knowledge and skills which is required in any field. This report focuses on the dual
education in the teaching and learning. Apart from this, Impact of professional values in
education and training is being mentioned in this report. Besides this, impact of social, political
and economical factor is being discussed in this report.
Task 1
A. Concept of Professionalism and Dual professionalism
Professionalism is one of the commonly used tool which defines the skills, and etiquettes
of the person. Basically professionalism states about the behaviour and attitude of any person
within the work and business environment. Professionalism shows the qualities and
characteristics of the person. On the flip side dual professionalism states about the deep
knowledge, understanding and learning procedure and context. Dual professionalism is getting
used in the profession of teaching .

As the teacher are both, they are vocational and also the subject specialists, because they
are out comers and learners (Atkins and et.al, 2017). Teachers have to be effective in skills and
knowledge then only they can become a dual professional.
Professionalism is very important in the field of learning and education, if the teachers
are professional then only they can teach their students and help them to attain success in their
academic and professional career.
The first and foremost thing of professionalism is that the teacher always interact
positively with their students. At the time of interaction, teachers must know the thin and fine
line with caring adult and also treat the students as their friend. Professional teacher always held
a two way communication with their students instead of imposing those orders. So that students
also get keen interest in the work and they may raise different queries so that they get clarity of
their each and every doubt.
Being a member of SET, it is my responsibility to share all the knowledge which i gain
to the students so that they may get ample of opportunities in their career, also it is my duty to
treat every student equal and give them learning opportunity because every student has different
qualities and capabilities and being a teacher i have to highlight them and make student believe
that nothing is difficult if the wish to achieve anything they can get it by hard work and deep
knowledge.
Apart from this if the teacher has dual professionalism, they never do discrimination and
favouritism with the students and treat them equal so that students do not get hesitate and behave
nicely with each other.
If the teacher has dual professionalism and they are dedicated for the welfare and growth
of their students they always believe in the ability of the student instead of motivating them
(Marcotte and et.al, 2020). They also feel that nothing is difficult and impossible and students
can easily attain their goals if they are passionate about it and they want success in their life.
Another quality of a professional teacher is that treat professionally with their colleagues.
Those teacher who is highly professional they always share their knowledge with others and
try to create an environment with their colleagues for the development of the students so that
they can get chances to learn better in the positive environment.

career. Professionalism is the key of the career; it can break the career and make the career of
anyone. A better career depends that how professional person is, how they talk to anyone, how

is involved whether it is a teaching field or any other.
One of the key features of professionalism is strong communication, specially in the
teaching and learning field (Tatto, 2020). When the teacher has good communication skill then
only they can share their views and ideas to their students, and they may grab the things which is
being taught to them. So communication plays a great role in professionalism.
Besides this, students also have to show their professional side especially when the
teacher is teaching them. Whenever any teacher is saying something to them and if they are
sharing their knowledge to them they must listen them carefully apart from this they should
respond to their teacher if they are not able to understand anything or whether they are getting it.
Another thing which the students have to follow is that they must set some professional
goals for them; they should work on their professional skills and also on their communication so
that they can get the things properly and fully.
But teaching is the only field where a person follows the dual professionalism who plays
a role of teacher and training experts as well. And on the other hand student plays a role of
learners and workers as well.
If the student gets a professional teacher then they can implement their valuable
knowledge at the work and get many promotional benefits as all the organisations want to hire
best and professional employees.
B: Impact of professional values in education and training
Professionals tend to be working within the profession such as teaching and training has
to ensure that it follows the professional values in the education and training field, so that it can
achieve specialist area in the broad category of education and training. There are several values
which the professions such as teacher and training professions need to achieve. This includes

values which are as follows, continuous self-learning, sense of urgency and integrity
(Educationtopia, 2021). By integrating the following activities within the professional
performance individuals can make sure that it is able to integrate new concepts and knowledge
within the working field by which its performance can be increased.
Professional values- Professional values, is the set of goal oriented activities done by the
individual to complete the given task within the shortest span of time (University of Bradford,
2021). Professional values are important for the individual to follow because through this
approach, it can make sure that continuous professional development (CPD) is being achieved
while obeying the personal responsibilities. With this steps professional can make sure that they
are having a proper opportunity to showcase their knowledge and expertise to accomplish new
outcome.
Standards and values of the Teachers standards document- There are several values and
standards of teaching and training profession within UK which has to be followed by the
professions. The set of documents which have been established by the department of education
within UK has stated standards which have to be followed by the profession in order to provide
specialist within the working behavior (Department of Education, 2021). Following are the value
standards.
1. Set high expectations which inspire, challenge pupils and motivate.
2. Promotion of efficient progress and outcomes by pupils.
3. Demonstration of appropriate subject as well as curriculum knowledge.
4. Planing and teaching of well-structured lessons.
5. Making productive and accurate use of assessment.
6. Fulfill wider professional responsibilities (Department of Education, 2021).
7. Adaption of teaching responding to strengths and requirements of all the pupils.
8. Management of behavior for ensuring good and secure learning environment.
Influence of standards upon performance- Thus with the fellowship of the above stated
standards within the Teachers Standards document, professions can ensure that prescribed set of
standards are being followed (England, 2020). Through this approach specialist subject area is
also being accomplished.

There are several actions which have to be performed by the teaching professions
because of the introduced standards, following are the steps which has to be taken because of
standards.
1. This includes elements like self development with this analysis profession can make sure
that it is able to evaluate the changing requirements and then on that basis make suitable
changes within the developed strategy.
2. Continuous monitoring the learner's performance in terms of understanding the
knowledge. With this approach the performance will be increased and with that the
profession can also implement bi-directional counseling sessions, through this specific
requirements can be identified.
3. Assessment evaluation and additional teaching based small challenges, which showcase
the efficient learning (Zhang and Liu, 2018).
4. Develop plan of action, through which the developed plan of action can be implemented.

Expected outcome of these activities- The achievement of task is being based upon the set of
actions which are being taken for the accomplishment of the desired task. Following are the
different situations, on the bases of positive and negative outcome.
Positive- By developing a proper working plan all the requirements can be identified and through
the use of strategy developed plan is being followed. By which all the standard based
requirements can be fulfilled and with that specialist performance can be accompanied (Abonyi,
2017).
Negative- If a strategy based plan is not being developed, then the overall training course might
not being integrated within the teaching process. Due to which proper time can also not be
allotted to the topics on the bases of their complexities because of which final performance of
learner will be affected.
It is important that I work within these standards and values as a member of the
profession because if I do these activities then there are high chances that I am able to implement
my knowledge and expertise on the ground level. With this approach I can make sure that I am

A. Impact of social, political and economical factor on the current education of UK
The current scenario of education system is influencing the current education of the UK.
As the political factor plays a vital role in the entire education system of UK. As the government
prepares budget For the schools and also allocate the fund to such schools so that students get
many chances to develop their skills and enhance their level of knowledge. But sometimes the
school management or the people of government becomes greedy and do not allocate the entire
fund which is being announced by the government in result student do not get many
opportunities to learn new things (Smith, 2019). In result they lose their interest in the studies.
Apart from this, as per the current scenario government has made many policies for the welfare
and development of the students so that they can get better education because as per the
education they will get growth importunities in their career.
But the current scenario of the education has got changed now all the school and colleges
of UK has to remain shut for months due to the pandemic and all the teaching and learning is
running with the help of technology. Now students are learning from online classes so the
scenario of education in UK has got changed. But all the policies made by the government is in
the favour of encouraging higher education in UK and government is trying to reduce the
negative impact of tuition fee and running various educational campaigns.
Society plays a vital role in the education, because the costume and tradition do influence
the education. Mentality of the people affects the education and the people of UK have the
mentality that they put more focus of work and experience. But in reality if they do not learn the
things properly they can’t work as per the expectation as they were not having proper
knowledge. Apart from this economic factor is also influence the education.
If the living of standard and income of the people is high then they put more focus on
the studies and they do not feel hesitated in paying the higher fees for the good education. Apart
from this, when the people of UK are well aware with the importance of education then only they
can know the importance of education.

colleges have to change their entire curriculum (Balyerand et.al 2019 ). Like in the
proliferation of covid 19, government of UK has imposed new rules on the school and colleges
are that they have to provide all the classes and education via online and with the help of
technology. No- one student will visit to school and college premises.
So as per the instruction now the college and schools have to change their entire way of
working. Now they have to change their entire policies the management of the schools and
college have to give training to the teacher how they will teach to their students in online classes.
Being a teacher I also have to change by way of teaching as my specialization is in Marketing
and HR. But i have to take online session of the students, for that have to prepare myself earlier
before beginning the session. Besides this, I have to check proper connectivity and also I have to

look for the proper equipment and tools so the student does not have to compromise with their
learning. Along with this I will treat each and every student equal. I will plan all the lessons so
that I can give my best and student grabs everything which is necessary for them to learn.
Except this, I would try to provide them same learning which they must get if they were present
in the class physically.
I will try to use different resources such as videos, audios and pictures so that student
can learn all the things quickly and also I will help them to learn core skills. As per the policy of
government I will try my best that student do not feel lagging behind due to the change in the
entire education system i will also change some syllabus if marketing and HR for the students so
that they can strengthen their basic which will going to help in their upcoming future and career
as well. So as the outcome student will enjoy the subject and they do not get regret of not
coming to their regular classes. But they will learn all the things which were used to teach them
in the classroom. Also the organisation tries to give them better learning opportunities for that,
schools and colleges are providing training to the teacher so that they can take online classes
appropriately and students do not have to face a single issue in the learning.
C Analysis the impact of organisational requirement and expectations
As per the current scenario of UK, schools and colleges have fully changed their
policies so that they can meet the rules imposed by the government. The new policy of schools
and colleges is to provide remote learning to the students ( Conchas and et.al2019). But being a
teacher I always concern for the development and growth of my students. As I am specialist in
Marketing and HR so I want that my students do not have to get worried in these subjects and by
getting deep knowledge they may get many employment opportunities in their life. My main
motive is to prepare students so that they may grab all the employment opportunities. So
organisations have fully changed their policies now the teachers are also wearing students how
they can protect themselves from the virus. Apart from teachers this crisis open the eyes if
parents as well. Before covid they were not so concerned for the education and learning of their
children but now they are aware for their studies and want to see their children on the good
positions. But this is in hands of teacher only they can make and break the career of students by
providing them excellent knowledge and skills.

A: Role of stakeholders and external bodies in education
Stakeholders is an individual or an group of individual who is having high level of interest
in the organization and which is being affected or is able to affect the overall working process.
Explanation off stakeholders in education and training- In the field of education and training
stakeholders are being divided into different categories which are internal stakeholders and
external stakeholders (Shirrell, Hopkins and Spillane, 2019). In which the internal stakeholders
consist of teaching staff, management and other departments, whereas external stakeholders
consist of students, parents and many more.
Five stakeholders and external bodies-
Awarding bodies- The award body is an external stake holder which is responsible for
analysing the performance off education and training which is being provided. Thus if the
performance score is above the average marking then special rewards are being provided,
through this approach the stakeholders are being motivated to improve their performance.
Regulators in education and training- Government develops several rules by which it tend to
ensure that a proper working is being introduced and training activities are being done as per the
rules (Goodyear, Parker and Casey, 2019. ). Therefore, the strategy for providing training has to
be done according to the developed strategy.
Office for Standards inn Education, Children Services and School (OFSTED)- OFSTED
is responsible for inspecting and regulating the excellence in care for children and young

CLEAPSS- CLESPSS is an external stakeholder which tends to provide support for a
consortium to the local authorities and school. Through which it ted to make sure that the
final quality of the training phase is increased, this provide its services in various fields
