Introduction:
Professional refers to the process which helps in adding the value to the individual work
performance at the organisation as well as in the personal life. this quality is developed by
having the experience, positive attitudes, effective belief which helps them to person to feels
that they are the part of the society. It also defines who the individual behave and performance
at the work places. Under this repost, Ritz hotel which is five star hotel in the London is
selected to examine the professional development further there will discussion on the ongoing
professional enhancement and how they are associated with the stakeholder. While making
personal plan various skills and abilities are taken into consideration..

Ritz hotel was founded in 1906 by the Eller man group and it included among the well
established and prestigious hotel in the international market places.
On- going professional development refers to the process where the person learn while working
and focus on improving their skills and capabilities which helps them to be more productivity at
the work environment. It includes the various learning activities and practices which helps the
worker to learn the new and advance skills and knowledge so that they can perform better in the
team. It is continues process where the employees can enhance their performance at the work
place as well as increase the profitability of the organisation.
The Ritz hotel is known for offering the service to its targeted customer which helps them to
come under the best hotel under the service industry. This hotel apply the ongoing professional
development where all the employees are included which helps them to serve better to visitor
and satisfied their needs and wants from time to time which further lead to creating the effective
goodwill in the international market places.
The benefit of the ongoing professional development are suitable for the stakeholder of the
organisation. following are the benefits which are employees and employers have from the
ongoing development process.

Here employers provide the professional and training programs to its worker so that they
can enhance their capabilities at the work place which directly and indirectly increase the
productivity of the Ritz hotel in the targeted market. these professional enhancement
provide ist staff to have good experiences in their fields so that the organisation can take

better opportunities to its employee which create good reputation in the marketplace.

to the Ritz hotel, the marketing manager needs to be creative skills which help him to
have innovative ideas for promoting and marketing their services in the market place.

employability skills of the manager. The manager of the Ritz hotel , have effective
communication abilities which helps in making product team which lead to

Communication skills: it is my strong skills at the work place as I am good with the having
interaction with the team and which helps in working in the coordination. This skills are
researched by the Ritz hotel manager which marketing manager needs to have.
Team builder and worker : As I am at the position of the marketing manager ,I know the
requirement of team work at the organisation so that all the employees are working for the
common goals. I have a ability to build a effective team and motivates from time to time to
give their best in the given task. As I am serving for the longer period in the hospitality industry
as have good experiences as employees(Skott, 2019)
Weakness:
Leadership quality: I have notices that I lack in the leadership skills at the work places which
also harm the performances of the whole team. I am not able to provide the effective direction
and guidance to the team which affects the operational activity of the hotel
Financial management : I lack the managerial skills when it come to handling the finance work
at the work which effective my strategies for growth of the hotel industry in the market places.
Opportunities:
Enhancing the new skills: I was able to learn the new skills and knowledge by going thought the
various training and development program which are provided by the Ritz hotel and help me to
grow as good professional person.
Better grow opportunities: as the hospitality sector have opportunity where one can have good
career in the market. I have a good position in the work which helps me to contribute more to
the organisation and towards my personal as well as in the professional goals.
Threats” :
Competition : I am facing the tough competition in the Ritz hotel organisation as there large
number of another people who are giving completion at the team and overtake my position at
the work place.
Along with undertaking the SWOT analysis and I also done the Skill audit to examine what
skills have are my strength and which area needs improvement.

marketing manger role in the hotel. I have also find out that I lack in some areas like leadership
at work and managing the financial things so with the help of the professional program I wil
overcome my weakness.

process and method.
The on-going professional program includes the various different theories and approaches which
helps the individual to improve their outcomes in their personal as well as professional growth.
These theories and concepts helps the person to capture or acquire the effective abilities which
make them a productivity employees. with the help of their learning theories I have also
enhance and improved by strength and tries to overcome my weakness. Some of the effective
theories are stated below:
Learning theories:
Constructive : according to this theory, it is assumed that professional are constructed and build
new quality on the foundation of the past experience and learning . the past learning experience
influence the new and advance modification in their learning programs. Constructive is a
process which helps in building the professional path. With the examining of the past year
experiences i can evaluate the mistake which i have made and focus on not repeating them in
future and learn from the past mistake. . (Bukor,2015)
Cognitive: as per this theory , it is associated with the internal process which mentally abilities
are used to solve the problems in proper manners an d helps in building the critical thinking at
the work place. here i person make proper balance with the mental and physical resource so that
effective results can be seen in the person
