Personal SWOT:
Strength Weakness
It seems to include all the key
characteristics that help me to succeed in
my private and professional career
(Carlyon, 2018). I have great leadership or
management skills and personal abilities
for the post of Hospitality Manager that
helped me to fulfil the responsibility and
role or build business strategy.
It shows a person's shortcomings that this has to
work on with this area to create a better world and
move it from obvious vulnerability to power.
People should strive to solve this weakness and
have more chances in the future. My strengths are
innovative thinking, time management and
problem-solving, for the position of Hospitality
Manager. To be able to work as Hospitality
President, I have to focus on these competencies.
Opportunities Threats
This seems to include the future
opportunities people need to understand or
improve their skill set. Obtaining skills is
beneficial for the employee to improve
their performance or effectiveness in
achieving their company's goals and
objectives. I also get opportunity for
Hospitality Manager to make
improvements as senior management as I
lead to the company's earnings.
This component represents such skills which impact
each career and its competitiveness. Thus, groups of
people need to identify and work on potential
dangers to improve their effectiveness, which
further seeks to achieve hotel goals which further
enhance business profit margins as well as
hospitality demand. Threats will fuel creativity for
the role of Hospitality Manager and individuals can
face problems in the future.
P4. Review the range of learning theories and approaches which are used for professional
development
There are several learning approaches and theories which are required by the organizations
for the personal or professional development of their employees. Some of them are discussed
below, which can be followed by the managers of Hilton Hotel for the improvement of their staff
member.

Gagné's theory: It is a professional growth concept linked to social practices that arise as
individuals are attempted to implement with lighting environments and focused on the
production of results, and also how various learning experiences should be coordinated to
produce such results (Mathews And et.al., 2018). This concept of instruction includes the
multiple guidelines to have an appropriate interpretation for the person and can be followed by
management at Hilton Hotel.
Social learning theory: It is believed that people are likely to exhibit aggressive habits
when they watch somebody else react aggressively to see if any habits are dramatically changed.
Theories of social learning stress the influence of human experience and say that people have to
learn by observing the behaviour of the individual then by seeing aggressive acts, how much
certain persons are influenced in a negative and positive way. The management of Hilton Hotel
might also pursue this strategy for the development of the hotel employees not only in
the personal and professional life. To enforce this strategy, Hilton Hotel's managers and other
key management personnel should obey the requirements and regulations of resort premises, so
that newly selected applicants can understand how the superiors are doing. Know that as well, if
they are addressing the hurdles or considering the responses to them.
Cognitive approach: This approach encourages the staff to learn and sustain for long
periods of time. It is a committed, constructive and long-lasting method for boosting the
efficiency of their workers' brains. Cognitive structure is based on those approaches to provide
useful feedback and more professional and organizational development assistance. Hilton Hotel
is willing to embrace this action approach to focus positively on the workers. Based on the
response, individual performance can be improved, this is most crucial if professional
development is to be enhanced to accomplish growth prospects.
The Hilton Hotel manager should impose the Gagne theory to include an organized learning
method (Hohenstein and Lévy-Tödter, 2020). That increases profitability or performance in
order to meet company goals and objectives.
Attention: Managers must ensure that they get input from staff before any specifics are
actually released.
Ensuring members regarding objectives: Provide full information regarding
hotel's objectives and other ambitions of everyone, as it helps a customer to accomplish their task
of attaining client goals.
