INTRODUCTION
Personal and professional development is considered to be one of the effective procedure
as it is very useful in engaging both the individual and organization which is very useful in
meeting the desired goals and challenges. The study will use Gibbs reflective model in order to
evaluate the study and employability skills of an individual. The Gibbs reflective model is very
useful in encouraging individual in order to systematically evaluate the experience of each
individual associated with specific situation.
MAIN BODY
According to the Gibbs reflective model, I have evaluated that, study and employability
skills and employability skills are considered to be very prominent because it is very useful in the
attainment of higher operational goals and objective within the organizational setting. I have
critically analysed that, communication skills such as both written and verbal is considered to be
one of the appropriate measure which is very useful in the succeeding of the personal and
professional life of an individual. This way it helps in developing better communication with the
people. It is useful in better transmission of the information related with the specific area. This
way it is very useful in making people clearly understanding the other individual information
more accurately. Effective written and verbal communication is very useful in understanding and
delivering the information more accurately and quickly.
While conducting the task, I analysed that I am not able to communicate the views to
others which are essential, but when I start working with other, I start working on this, and also
realize that I posses strong time and self management skills which is essential for every
employees. Because I complete my work on time and it is realized when I met my define aim
with the specified deadlines (Reynolds and Vince, 2017). In addition to this, as I conduct the task
in Powerpoint, and this reflect that I increase my ICT skills and therefore, it also helps me in my
future generation. Also, it will assist me to conduct future project in better manner. Also, I
analysed that I develop my problem solving skills which means that I solve the issue that may
affect the overall decision. In addition to this, I also analysed that I gain my employability skills
which will definitely help me in my future and also assist me to complete the define aim and
objectives.

According to the Gibbs reflective model, I have evaluated that, research skills is very
useful in identifying the various set of problem. It helps the individual in collecting various set of
information which is very beneficial in addressing the specific problem (Rowe, 2017). The
researcher of the study must focus on evaluating various quality resources in order to attain
appropriate solution to the problem. Research is very useful in shaping the future which helps in
adapting and evolving knowledge on the various elements of the study. Researching about the
current competitive market which in turn helps in undertaking various set of environment which
eventually undertakes various tasks within various business environment. Also, the proper
knowledge of the researching skill is very necessary for me as there are many different sources
from which information can be gathered. Hence, the proper researching skill will help me in
identifying the fact that which sources are authentic and which are not. Hence, the knowledge of
good researching skill will help me in gathering appropriate and relevant data which is valid and
reliable for the research.
Also, while conducting the task, I analysed that I improve my team work abilities which
means when I conduct the study, I enhance my team work abilities which means that i can easily
manage the work with my team. Also, it creates positive impact upon my oral communication
skill. For example, one of my teammate face issue with related to researching on the topic and at
that time, we all work together and help to sort out the problem as well (Graham and Walton,
2018). Further, I come to realize that I gain knowledge related to employability skills as well as
study skills and enhance my knowledge as well which will definitely help me in my future career
options. As I raise my ICT skills while working in the power point presentation and at that time,
I realize that ICT skills are essential for the modern era and that is why, it will definitely help me
to meet the future options as well. Using this skill will assist me to cope up with various issues
and through this I will easily comply with the advance technology which in turn assists to learn
new techniques (Davies, Curtin and Robson, 2017).
According to the Gibbs reflective model, I have evaluated that, information communication
technology is very useful handling various set of communication technology by handling
intelligent management system, transmission system, audio visual processing monitoring
functions, and network based control, handling telecommunication, broadcasting media, etc.
Information communication technology is useful in providing access to large number of
information on the real time basis. It is very useful in enhancing the collaboration and interaction

among various individuals within the organization. Information communication technology is
very useful in enriching the learning by combing video, audio, animation, text and images.
Moreover, while working on this task, I come to realize that I do not posses critical
thinking abilities and some soft skills which affect me in opposite manner. Further, I come to
analyse that by working on this skills will also help me to conduct the research in better manner
and also analysed that I lack some planning and management skills which needs to be improve. It
is so because these are consider one of the most essential employability skills that assist to make
better decision and also improve the future or help to meet the define aim and objectives as well
(Cottrell, 2017). That is why, through the skills, I analysed that working on this skills will help
me to attain my define aim and objectives and meet the future goal as well.
Hence, with the above all discussion i came to know that there are many different areas in
which i need to develop my skills and capabilities to work. From the above discussion the major
skill which i need to improve is the presentation skill. This is majorly pertaining to the fact that
in this highly competitive professional world there is high need of making good presentation.
This is majorly pertaining to the fact that in corporate world the presentation is most important
form of communicating with other clients and business partners. Thus, for improving this skill i
need to practise a lot by making presentation form time to time. Even though there is no
requirement of presentation then also for learning i need to make some practice presentation.
Further i need to develop the critical thinking skills as without critically thinking to any
of the problem or situation no solution can be brought. Thus, for this i need to develop some
critical thinking capabilities. This can be developed with help of researching for some popular
problems which the successful business has faced. Then after this the problem will be analysed
by me and then i will try to solve the problem by my own and this way i will be able to develop
good thinking and analysing skills. Also, from the above analysis i came to know that i also lack
some planning and management skills which is the most important skill while working in the
corporate world (Sangster, 2017). Hence, for getting successful in corporate world it is very
important to have good planning and management skill.
Thus, for developing this management and planning skill the first step is to learn the art
of prioritising all the work. This is necessary because of the fact that if i will not be able to
prioritise that which work is more important to be accomplished first. Then i will not be able to
plan the things in proper manner. Hence, for this the first and foremost step is to develop the skill

of prioritising and further for improvising the management skill there is need to develop the
interpersonal skill and work on communication skill as well. This is majorly because of the
reason that management refers to the art of getting things from others in effective and efficient
manner (Kroll and Dussias, 2017). Thus, for getting the work accomplished by other the
interpersonal skill need to be good. It is so because if interpersonal skill will be good then i will
be able to influence other people in more effective manner. Thus, there is major requirement for
me to develop the different skills which will be helpful me in my future working.
CONCLUSION
From the above conducted study it has been summarized that, there are various set of
employability skills such as communication skills, team work capabilities, research skills,
appropriate information communication technology, self-management and time management and
problem solving skills. This way it is very useful in carrying various tasks in an effective and
appropriate manner.
