INTRODUCTION
In the development and succession of a person personal and professional development plays a major role
because through it they able to enhance their skills, abilities and knowledge successfully which improve their
performance and work quality (Alghamdi, 2020). Moreover for a person it is essential to conduct regular personal
and professional development on the regular basis because it helps them in gaining opportunity for grow their
career in successful as well as effective manner. Topics include in respective report are description of personal as
well as professional development, value of short term aim, medium term objective and long term goal with
examples. Report will also include value of personal development strategies as well as plan.
TASK 1
1.
Professional as well as personal development or enhancement is determined as a plan or strategies which
a person set their goals develop strategies accordingly as well as decide outcome of the specific training and
leaning (Horta, 2020). Through this a person able to enhance their skills, abilities and knowledge which help in
enhance their performance in successfully manner.

It is determined as factors which seems as milestone in the journey to arrive at the middle and long term
objective of life. Moreover, it will also help in gauge how a far a person come as well as well as how long they
still need to travel for reaching at ultimate destination related to succession (Mansfield, 2020). It also helps an
individual in getting clear vision of goal according to which they can set strategies. Examples of short term are to
get driving license, save money to spend two weeks in Maldives with the whole family and to lose weight.

This aim helps in developing link among the short term aim as well as long term goal as well as it can be
accomplish in 3 to 5 year effective (McConnell and et. al., 2020). By developing medium term aim an individual
able to achieve their long term objective as well as objective in effective manner. Examples of middle term goal
are to receive British citizenship, to bring own company to higher level as compare to current time and stop
working from home and buy own office.

It is considered as goal which is set by a person for their future. This goal is not able to meet in an hours,
days, and weeks or months, this will require years of hard work, dedication as well as planning (McConnell and
et. al., 2020) By creating long term goal a person able to enhance their skills and abilities which is required by

them in future for the successful career. Examples for the long term goal are to buy a house in Spain, build a
walnut plantation and open a care home for children who are without parent.

The personal development plan is considered as procedure of developing an action plan which is totally
based on the reflection, development of plan, awareness, and goal setting and so on. this will help in
development of career, self improvement and education (Smith, James. Personal Development P/aim)/og - What

development plan help a person in visioning future that provide clear idea related to strategies, time frame, and
so on (McConnell and et. al., 2020). It will also help in knowing target as well as understanding destination in
life which leads to attainment of desire goal as well as objective successfully.

Author, Purpose, Reliability and Relevance’ influence the exercise of a source because if a person gather
information from in appropriate source then there will be high chance that they not able to attain their desire goal
or objective (Panahi and et. al., 2020). Moreover, if a person use or adopt authenticate as well as reliable source
they able to attain their objective properly as well as it will help in gathering proper information or data related to
the research project successfully.
