model in which the person will outline learning experience from session which is based on
professional values and learning about professionalism. Further, it will evaluate Educational
policies and act which are enforced by government to help schools and universities in managing

social and economic factors on educational policies as it contributes to education for boosting
economy of a country. Besides, it will identify, Organisational policies, codes of practices which

of stakeholders and external bodies in education and training and their impact.
TASK 1
To present my learning over professionalism and dual professionalism I will make use of
Gibbs model of reflective journals because, according to me this model helps in making
systematic description of own learning and experience. Learning about professionalism was
overall good and practical experience for me because I will it helped make in developing critical
knowledge about various aspects which falls under concepts of professionalism and dual
professionalism. I learned about various professional values which I am sure will assist me in my
future work life. As per learning I can say that I was aware about values but I knew their
importance in corporate world. After learning I feel it is important for the person to be honest
generous and kind when working with different people with different skills and knowledge.
In my opinion learning in professional was effective process because it helped in
understanding various aspects and factors which needs to considered when working in work of
corporate. Further, I feel the most important part of session for me was determining professional
policies and procedure because according me it helps the person in making work authentic and
effective. Following organisational policies and practices are important for me because it enables
discipline in individuals when working in corporate world. Following these procedures and
values helps in enhancing own experience and image in front of management. However, from the
session I analysed that sharing best practices and implementing innovative and skills and

knowledge in work place act as tonic for individuals as it enhances person work and ability to
win professional situation.
Professionalism is skills and knowledge of individual for competing and are in person
who have ability to live professional activity. According to my learning there are 10 basic
characteristics which reflect individual professionalism that is appearance, it is important for the
individuals to be dressed according to dress code with neat and clean clothes. Appearance act as
first impression of person on the clients or on the person to whom person is responsible for
reporting. In my opinion the most characteristic of professionalism is d enamour which is person
ability to interact. In session I learned that it is important for a person to be soft spoken because it
is the ability which reflects individuals on personality and behaviours towards other people
specially colleagues. Further, according to this characteristic I have learned that it is important
for an individual to interact professionally with colleagues and managers under whom the person
is working. However, during the learning the most promising characteristic according to me was
ethics in which the person conflicts between values of workplaces and personal life. From this I
learned that every firm has its own code of ethics which regulates strict behaviours and
regulation for all employees. Further, in my opinion maintaining own poise was the
characteristic which I already have which means that individual need to calm during difficult
situation. This behaviour of person helps the individuals in enhancing workplace formal
relationships (Frost, 2012). Apart from this, I learned about written correspondence,
accountability, organisation skills and phone etiquette. Nevertheless, the audit of competence
was interesting part for me as in this my educators focused on strategies which need to be
followed to overcome competition of professional world. From learning in evaluated that
corporate world is full of competition, hierarchies and spirit to overcoming each other skills
which is good side of corporate world but has increased competition for employees.
I feel the session was effective because it does not only focus on professional
development but, there I enhanced my knowledge about continuing professional development
plan which helps the person in determining his or her own capabilities of performing certain task.
Further, in my opinion it is the plan which helps in enhancing one's knowledge and skills of
professional life which is focused on community, management and customers (Boud and Hager,
2012). In my opinion, it is and effective approach to professional life because it is focused on
continuous development of individual and helps in improving own level of working with

different people of work place. From the session I evaluated that accomplishing target is the
ultimate goal which helps in enhancing personal standards of employees. Therefore, it is
important for an individual to focus attaining objectives as it is key driver which promotes and
helps the individual in building own image at work place. Apparently, I discovered my
knowledge and skills which I need to encourage and enhance because effective communication
and multitasking are tonic or managing successful organisational functions but it is important for
me to attain specialisation over these skills so that no one can stand by me in competition.
Enhancing own professional skills and knowledge helps the workers in making their own image
in professional world. Thus, from the learning I evaluated that it is important for me to develop
my sharing practices because I know when I work alone I management to accomplish target but
when I group in involve in segregation, division of work which consumes my maximum time
and I lack sharing practices. Hence, from the session I learned that in professional world it will
be important for me to working group specialise my knowledge and skills and work in ethics.
The session according to me was effective because it helped me in analysing my various strength
which can helps me in professional world whereas it also helped me in evaluating my weakness
which assisted me analysing factors which can hinder my growth at workplace. I feel it is
effective to attend and participate in professional class session because these are training session
which helps the person in developing own knowledge and skills.
Hereby from the evaluation it has been concluded the professional skills learning session
was effective for me as I learned about various professional, values, ethics and behaviours which
an individual should posses to be successful in professional world. I feel the session outlined all
the major practices which are important for an individual to enhance when practising in
corporate world. However, from this session I analysed that it is important for the person to learn
about professional values because these are basic values and etiquettes which helps the person in
managing changes. I would like to conclude that according to session was interesting it
comprised every bit of the detail about the professional work and ethics which needs to be
followed.
From the entire learning of session I have realized that it is important for me to involve in
more learning session because I am still very weak with strategies of corporate world. I have
planned that from now I will focus on reading professional magazines and books which will
helps in analysing need of changes me my behaviours and attitude as per corporate world.

Moreover, now I will focus on participating presentation session and seminars which will helps
in analysing my weakness and strengths which can assist me in professional world.

Current Educational Policies
Educational policies play an important role in managing successful and effective
education system in country. The act enforced by government assists the schools and universities
in managing best strategies for enhancing students learning (Boud and Brew, 2013). Like, The
Education Reform Act of 1988 is enforced by UK government to support education of children
and students. The reform regulates national curriculum and educational policy which act as
support to education system. In accordance t this reform government of UK conducts test of
analysing learning of students about national curriculum as it is focused on basic skills of
learners such as communication, listening, professional etc.
Social, political and economic factors
There are several ways in which social, political and economic factors impact educational
policies Like enhancing education system is indirect contribution to the economy of a country.
As student development creates value of society which boost image of overall country. Apart
from UK, there are renowned countries like US which are known for its high quality education
and standards. The developing education enhances the vales of employees and workplace which
is another factor which helps in overall development of society (Waitoller and Artiles, 2013).
Further the social welfare programs by government to promote living of society for which there
are many volunteers who are promoting free education for learners in which the individuals are
focusing on enhancing basic skills of people such as transferable, communication, professional
etc. Theses educational development plan by government and volunteers have enables huge
support to educational policies.
Organisation policies, codes of practice and guidelines
Organisational policies, codes of practices and guidelines play an important role for
Bexley college, as it demonstrates effectiveness and efficiency of education system of system.
This denotes capability of organisation to working under social, cultural responsibilities of

implemented equality and diversity in which the education policies and code of conduct are

and stable safe learning environment for learners.
TASK 3
Role of stakeholders and external bodies in education and training
Stakeholders and external body in education system are the crucial part as the association
ensures safe and effective learning environment to students. The stakeholders of education
system are the group of people who seek for development and promote higher education in
country. In accordance to this, it is important for the colleges and schools to keep its stakeholders
informed about the all necessary changes which is being planned to boost education and learning
environment. These are the people who influence entire policies and procedures of educational
environment. The focus of stakeholders is improvises education, learning and different
programmes which are based on promoting student learning. Stake holders and external bodies
of education system comprise parents, students, educators, managers, curriculum and other
employees which are partially or wholly responsible for student education. Further, in this every
individual plays significant role according to own capability and responsibility like, Students are
the individual’s for which education is conducted. These are those participant of system for
whom policies are made and system is revised in order to make learning effective. These are
group of people for whom education system launches different programs according to increasing
learning capacity and competition (Leisyte and Westerheijden, 2014). However, on the other
hand educators are the people who are responsible for providing learning to student and therefore
are key driver to education system. Educators are stakeholders are focused on providing learning
to student with equality. Student learning depends on teacher that is why the system organises
various training and development (Avalos, 2011). Enabling regular sessions for educators helps
them in changing learning needs of students. However role of curriculum manager in college is
to formulate policies in order to maintain stable learning and working conditions for students and
teachers. In addition, it is important for manager to motivate and keep educators and learners

arise due to stakeholders and external bodies as the involvement of parents in learning practices
of students sometimes become hindrance to educators due to which teaching practices gets
affected. On the other hand, involvement of external bodies helps in determining need of changes
which assist in modifying and implementing new ways of managing learning practices. Thus,
Stakeholder and involvement of external bodies helps teachers in analysing their influence of
working practices with the help if four quadrant matrix where, students, national and state
guidelines, educational policies, reforms and principles falls in one quadrant as these are the
things which are foremost part of curriculum and have major impact on system. Further, 2nd
quadrant comprise supervisors, families of students, team members which are part of external
bodies and have minimal impact on the system but do have a control (O'Mahony and Garavan,
2012). Third quadrant comprises management, college responsible authorities, PTA etc. Lastly,
fourth quadrant involves individuals who provide educational resources, funds etc. Hence the
quadrant division denote stakeholder analysis which determines power and interest of
stakeholders and external bodies in educational system (Marić, 2013).

Impact of education and training by stakeholders and external bodies
The policies and education system of college in accordance to UK government is
responsible and answerable to external bodies as well as stakeholders. The system is central
control of these individuals and for making any changes it is important for colleges to seek
consent from stakeholders. The bodies have strict control over education, mangers, employees,
education material, learning resources, plans etc. It is important for teachers to update external
bodies about every change as all the modifications rely on their consent. Further, external bodies
have more knowledge and awareness about learning abilities if students and therefore seeking
advice from these individuals assist the system in implementing effective and reliable learning
practices. Therefore at the time of preparing curriculum it is foremost responsibility of educator
to seek advice from external bodies about learning abilities and leading educational resources
(Leisyte and Westerheijden, 2014). Apart from this seeking approval from administrative and
governmental bodies helps the college in making effective curriculum and implementing with
complete responsibilities.
However, educators deal with different students every day and according to them it is
very important to make students with learning disabilities comfortable in learning environment.
Therefore, unique skills and abilities are prior requirement of educators in accordance to UK
government. The statutory policies if education system is focused on improving education
criteria and patterns with regards to all types of students. Further, it has become mandatory for
educators to adopt different styles of teaching as per changing environment. In accordance to
this, training and development has become necessity. Implementing Maslow hierarchical needs
model is the best strategy to boost morale of educators and learners. By implementing the use of
this model all the needs and requirements will be fulfilled which is the best way to keep learners
and teachers motivated and engaged (Sarkis, Gonzalez-Torre and Adenso-Diaz, 2010). For
instance, in first phase the model will help in determining self actualisation needs of educators
and students like learning difficulty, management etc. Further, in self esteem needs the
management will focus on enabling respect and dignity of working together in education system.
It plays an important role as in this the system will determine the need of educators and learner
for society for which self respect plays an important role. Then comes sense of belongingness in
which the education system focuses on making informal relationship with all people who are key
driver of education system. Belongingness is essential because it helps in generating trust on

system and its functions. Furthermore, safety needs which is most important need and is major
requirement of stakeholders and external bodies in this it is important for educational institutions
to enable safety of students in learning environment because it is the factor which regulates
admission and parents preferences for specific school or college. Thus, it can be said that it is the
mandatory needs of stakeholders which needs to be fulfilled in order to maintain effectiveness
and efficient of learning environment. Last comes psychological needs which is another essential
requirement of external bodies specially for learners in this the system is responsible for enabling
safe drinking water to all and quality food facility which is basic need of every human being.
