INTRODUCTION
Personal and professional development can aids to the individual in improving their
existing skills, ability and knowledge about subject. The present report is based on the
continuous professional development of student through which they can able to improve their
skill, knowledge, ability etc. This report defines the significance of the continuous professional
development and its impacts upon the individual growth and profession. Critical incident
reflective analysis and systematic action plan for professional development has been discussed in
this report. In order to effectively analyse the experience and learning, Gibbs reflective model
has been systematically discussed with respect of multidisciplinary team work.
TASK
1. Identification of incidents from group work and presentation then
Personal and professional development is very important for the every individual through
which they can improve their personality and professionalism. In addition to this, continuous
learning and continuous professional development is another significant aspect for individual by
which they can continuous learn the new tactics, strategy, knowledge and skill to perform in
excellent manner and achieve their target in their life. This development includes a range of
learning activities through which professionals maintain and develop throughout their career to
ensure that they continuous to be able to practice safety, effectively and legally within their
changing scope of practices. The continuous professional development and learning is also very
significant aspect in the student life through which anyone can improve their existing knowledge,
skill and ability about the subject. With assistance of continuous learning, individual can enhance
their career and professionalism.
As per the given case incident, I was working in a team which consisted of five students.
We all have work to represent our presentation upon the subject which was roles and
responsibilities of a multidisciplinary team. I was the third member in the group who have to
give my presentation. My part was to discuss the roles and responsibilities of a drug and alcohol
workers for youth and highlight their involvement with client in their care.
At the time of presentation, I have a very bad experience due to my group members
because my group member was not properly coordinating at the time of presentation. As our
team consisted of five students and my number was third to give presentation. All seemed fine

with my group before we entered to lecture room to present. The first group member introduced
the group and our chosen topic which was roles and responsibility of a multidisciplinary team. I
have to give presentation after the second group member presentation. I have found some
obstacles during our presentation that is related to the excessive talking of last two presenters. I
was seen that when second persons was giving their presentation then last two presenters was
starting excessive talking in a disruptive manner. Due to this disturbance, I was being distracted
from the topic and unable to listen second person's presentation in proper manner. As a result I
felt that it hindered my own ability to present to my full potential in my presentation. In addition
to this, my confidence level was also down and I was felt very nurvas. Due to this condition, I
was not properly concentrating on my presentation and forgotten all matter about roles and
responsibilities of a drug and alcohol workers for youth and highlight their involvement with
client in their care. I have also analysed that I have lost my sense and felt confused as it led to
some disorientation on my part.

As per the above discussion it has been analysed that at the time of presentation I have taken the
experienced about the roles and responsibility of a multidisciplinary team. At the time of
presentation I have group which consisted of 5 members. At the time of group presentation I
have analysed entire situation of different group member. I can effectively describe my
experience with help of Gibbs reflection model which are as follows- Description- In this section include brief description of the event and situation which
individual actually going to be discussed. As per my experience I have a group which
consisted of 5 members. We all have work to represent our presentation upon the subject
which was roles and responsibilities of a multidisciplinary team. I was the third member
in the group who have to give my presentation. My part was to discuss the roles and
responsibilities of a drug and alcohol workers for youth and highlight their involvement
with client in their care. At the time of presentation, I have a very bad experience due to

presenter. My part of presentation was linked with second presenter so it is very
important for me to listen his presentation but due to excessive talking of last two
presenter I was not listened properly and unable to understood the meaning. Due to this
condition, I was not properly concentrating on my presentation and forgotten all matter
about roles and responsibilities of a drug and alcohol workers for youth and highlight
their involvement with client in their care. My feeling was so bad as I felt very
demotivated and my confidence level was down.

Evaluation- As per the discussion about my experience I have analysed that there are
various positive and negative things happened with me. From the situation I have
assessed that I have very weak positive attitude due to which my confidence level get
down. While any complex situation I face then I lost my concentration power. I have
learnt that in the group there are different types of team member which have different
attitude and behaviour. While we work in a team we should focus on our roles and
responsibility for attain the target. We should adopt learning attitude through which we
can learn something new from people. Analysis- From my experience with group of 5 members I have analysed that I have very
weak positive attitude due to which my confidence level get down. While I face any
complex situation then I lost my concentration power. As per the situation, I have also
analysed that in the group presentation, every person have different roles and
responsibility which should they fulfil. In addition to this, every member should
coordinate and cooperate with each other for accomplishing task. As both last presenters

was taking in excessive manner due to which I was unable to concentrate on his
sentences. I have analysed that I needed to improve my concentration level and
confidence level so as I can not distract from my target in my life. Conclusion- From the situation at the time of presentation it has been concluded that I
have very weak positive attitude due to which my confidence level get down. While any
complex situation I face then I lost my concentration power. I have learnt from this
experience that I should always focus on my work rather than other people work. I have
also concluded that while we work in a team we should coordinate and support to other
people because every one is largely depended on each other.
Action plan- From this experience I have analysed that I have very weak concentration
power, positive attitude and confidence level because at the time of presentation of
second presenter I was distracting because last two presenter was talking in continuous
manner. Thus, I have found that I should improve my concentration skill, listening skill,
time management skill and confidence level so as I can easily improve my personality
and professionalism. I should also improve my learning attitude and positive attitude
which assist me in improving my confidence level through which I can not distract from
my target in my life. In order to improve my personality and professionalism I will
prepare a systematic action plan. In order to improve my confidence level, positive
attitude and concentration power I should attend personality development classes and
seminars.

As per the above discussion about the group presentation in the five members team I have
found that I have very weak concentration power, positive attitude, learning skill and time
management skill. I have to improve my weakness through which I can improve personality
and professionalism in this sector. In order to improve my weaknesses I will work on. In order to
improve my weakness, I should focus on the self assessment and self practices. Continuous
professional development concept will assist me in improving my ability, knowledge, skill and
strength. Continuous learning and continuous professional development is another significant
aspect for personality and professional development. Life long learning is another one of the
aspect that help me in improving my strength and attitude. As I have discussed that there are too
