Core Skill
Team working
Team work is the process of working with the group of the individual with sole motive of
achieving the organizational goal. Team work skill is used to compile the individual work
with the team work. Team work skill is also mixture of the different skills such as helping
and guiding, persuading, sharing openly and willingly, being an active participant,
being flexible, and showing commitment (Kirillov and et.al., 2015). As I always
found difficult to trust the other member in the organization and also find it difficult
to understand the point of view of the other, team work skill will help me in
overcoming the same.
Important of Core Skill
In professional carrier individual person have to work in different teams. To perform better
as a team is important for both employees and company. Team working skill is important
for individual in various perspective. Team work provide multiple perspective, and
feedback in operation process that is most important for company profit and creativity of
team performance. It improves performance and productivity of person in combine
operation. This skill also provide opportunity for me to learn communication and
coordination with in team.
Team working skill is important for me in professional carrier because in an organization
work is allocated in various team and existence of employee can be justified with
performance of team in different tasks. Awareness about development and importance of
team working skill can provide opportunity to person to gain success and growth in carrier.
This is also important to develop communication skill that is essential for professional
carrier development.
Reflection
As per the Belbin's team role theory in a team best suitable role for me is complete finisher
and team worker. I have used the Belbin's model to evaluate my team working skills based
on asking some question that are designed to evaluate role of person in team. As my
experience and evaluation I have analysed that my team working skill is not efficient and I
need to develop this skill. I have experienced various troubles in team working. Different
things make me less efficient and uncomfortable in team. Stranger people and strange
working environment reduce my working in team operation.
As per the comments of tutor I need to improve my team working skill to get better
opportunity in future and improve communication skill. From result of Belbin's theory I can
work as facilitator and complete finisher in team and these two roles will be most suitable
for me in organizational team.
Contradictions
There is slight contradiction between opinion of teacher and Belbin's Team Role Theory.

As per the result of Belbin's model I can work on two role in a team that are good for me to
be effective and productive in team. As Belbin theory role of complete finisher will be good
in team but in opinion of my tutor still I need development to get involve and perform better
in a team. Many time in classroom activities I have analysed that I am a good performer as
individual but in team operation it is difficult for me to manage the coordination with other
team members and manage work accordingly. By attending different classes and team
activity I can learn how to work efficient in a team.
Future Scope
In professional carrier it is important for person to work efficiently with other people in
certain task. Success of organization is based on the effective work of team and team
members. For future and professional life person should be familiar to work with multiple
people at single time. Team operation help individual to develop skill of working with
people of different nature (Onyett, 2018). This thing also influence the carrier of person
positively. Team working provide opportunity to person to learn human behaviour and
ways to deal with different team members. In professional carrier this skill is advantage to
individual to develop better communication in public and also make the person confident in
speaking with strange people in organization.

Public speaking
Public speaking is the skill which is used to communicate the information to the
larger number of the audience at once. It allow the individual to form connections,
influence decisions, and motivate change. Public speaking is one of the most
important part of the communication skills (Soukup and et.al., 2016). As I always
found it difficult to understand the other and I also feel hesitate in expressing my
view point in the meeting this skill will definitely help me in improving the same as it
will boost up my confidence to speak up with the other in the organization.
Important of Core Skill
Public Speaking can be related with confidence and knowledge of person. In daily life and
professional life person need to be confident to deliver message to people effectively. For
confident public speaking person should have good knowledge of topic of conversation.
Good public speaking skills are important for me because it reflects the confidence level
and knowledge of individual in front of other people. This is also important to deal with fear
of public speaking. Good public speaking skill help the person to deliver message with
high effectiveness by using this skill we can positively influence thinking are working of
listeners. Public speaking allows the person to deal with various people and know their
views. This is how public communication skill is important for individual person.
As we know that in professional carrier employees need to deal with many people in single
time and convince them for decision of organization and by learning this skill professional
carrier can be improved. That's why I have chosen this skill for analysis and reflection.
Reflection
I have analysed my public speaking skill with Johari window, peers of tutor and self-
analysis on the basis of different analysis and experiences I can state that my public
speaking skill is poor and ineffective due to lack of confidence and lack of information. This
both thing are affecting my public speaking skills. From the result and analysis of Johari
window my public speaking skills needs some development and apart from this
development I also need to improve knowledge of different topic to stay confident at time
of speaking with huge crowd. As per the feedback of tutor all I need is to improve my
knowledge to deal with public speaking issues on immediate basis.
Contradictions
There we all three have different opinion about my public speaking skill. It can be stated
that to improve public speaking skill I need to come over different issues like lack of
information and less confidence. Main issue evaluated in analysis is same as mentioned
above. Main contradiction between us is about which part is affecting and increasing my
fear of public speaking. I consider that I am lacking of confidence and also I have fear of
being wrong while speaking and in opinion of tutor I need to get better knowledge to speak
in public. This can enhance my confidence and reduce fear of public speaking. This is how
our opinions are contradicting with each other.

Time management
Time management skill is the process of organizing and scheduling the task in such a
manner that it get finishes in the specific period of time. Time management skill is the
mixture of the variety of the skills such as organization, prioritization, goal-setting,
communication, planning, delegation and Stress management (Mai, 2016). As the
biggest problem which I face is to manage my schedules of the meeting but with
the help of the time management skill I will be able to overcome the same as I will
be having the information of all the meeting before hand itself.

Time is limited and it can't be stretched more. There are only 24 hours in a day and daily
basis work need to be done with in this time limit. Time management also help the person
to improve performance in work by allocating suitable for each activity. It can help the
person to stay effective in working.
As per Johari Window time management is most important in professional carrier and it
can provide opportunity to a person gain growth and success in an organization with
efficient work. It is also helpful for me because this skill reduce the cost of action and make
work economic for all. This is the reason why I have chosen this skill to reflect.
Reflection
In my opinion I possess time management skills and I have ability to complete different
task with high quality with in time limit. I have assessed my time management skills
through Johari Window. Usually with easy and simple operations i am efficient with timing
but in complex and lengthy task still I need some improvement. As per Johari Window and
experience I have evaluated and analysed that I am good with time management but there
are some developments are required.
As per my own analysis and comments of teachers ui have evaluated that my time
management skills are developing with time but special training and development session
can help me to learn this skills faster.
Contradictions
There is no contradiction between me, my tutor and analysis toolkit. All the peers are
suggesting and evaluating same thing. In my view my time management skills optimum for
small operation but there is scope of further development. According to feedback of my
tutor my time management skills are good and I don't need any further development and
the minor development required can be achieved by work experience. Apart from the self
analysis and tutor's analysis I have also used Johari Window to generate overall result for
time management skills. Outcome from Johari Window resulting as I need both experience
and training to be more efficient with complex tasks.

Summery of Action Plan
To perform personal development it is important to evaluate strengths and
weaknesses of person to develop a specific action plan to develop those skill which are need
to be developed. Base of analysing strength and weakness is based on self-analysis,
feedback from peer and various online tools. On the basis of these criteria personal analysis
is conducted (Häfner, Stock and Oberst, 2015). It is important to develop action plan with
high success and conversion rate. There are different tools and theories like Belbin's model,
Johari Window were used to analysis personal strengths and weakness and form
development plan based on analysis to improve effectiveness process.
It has been summarized that these all skill will help me in improving my personal and
professional skill in my organization. It has also been understood that to adopt the following
skills I have to do a proper training and evaluation of my work so that I am able to find the
improvement which I have seen in me. Action plan will also help me in doing the same as it
will help me in keeping the eye on the skills which has been performed by me and on the
basis of that I can take the corrective action.

As per the analysis performed above it can be stated that I am possessing various
skills that are good for my professional carrier. This is my strength that I am planning a
development plan to improve future possibilities. The skills that I need to develop are just
need to be furnished to improve result in end. Number of skills I lack of are only few and too

helping me to improve my performance in personal and professional working.

that are required for future. Main weaknesses are- Lack of team working skill, less
confidence and knowledge of different field and poor selection process of sources that are
useful for research work. This lacking of skill is reducing performance my efficiency in
